OK, what has been going on.
Posted a year agoHey guys and gals, it has been a while.
First I’m gonna say that Dad passed away in august. He went in a peaceful way with no pain. I have to give thanks to everyone that give their condolences, and we appreciate that. Need to apologize for the slowness in art.
Though after the visit I got sick with some sort of head cold and it was pretty nasty. I couldn’t even draw for the first couple of days and I was coughing for a while. I still have the cough from the cold but I’m a lot better compared to when I first got it. It was impossible to stream during that time, as I would always cough and had to feast on cough drops for a while. At least the coughing is gone now, though it lasted for a while too.
Otherwise when September started, I had to help my mom move out of her apartment for a few days and needed to rest afterwards. we also had to clean out our garage at home. Not fun at all, as this had to be done within a few days. Moving is pretty draining.
Now this October, I was hired by someone to help them out with their spouse. The good news is, I should still be able to do my art and commissions while helping out there. Though I need to see how it will go in the first week. If things go well, I should be able to stream there via the iPad pro to Picarto. This was also the reason why I haven't been online for a bit, as I was looking over a few different ways to stream with my old 2015 MacBook pro, iPad pro, and even looking at portable pcs (ITX computer, laptop, or mini pc). I also had to try out Stream Champ or StreamLabs OBS on the iPad too.The bad news is, the iPad pro can only stream to one website at a time; so either Discord or Picarto. The other thing is I need to see the upload speed there to decide on streaming or not.
Otherwise, I can still stream art when I get back home as well, since it's close to where I live. Though not too sure if this will be a long term job or short term.
Lastly, I need to do some changes to SubscribeStar due to what happened with my dad's passing and the new job. I want to also set up some goals for it along with some new graphics for the tiers while adding some new tiers beyond the highest one. Plus a few other things as well. Though I'm gonna do one thing at a time, since I have been feeling overwhelmed.
Otherwise, I hope everyone has a good October and a Happy Halloween!

Posted a year agomy father was admitted to the hospital last night and things aren’t looking good at the moment. He may pass away or pull through from what my mother told me. We’re not too sure.
From what I know, its his blood pressure being messed up so he may or may not make it.

Let's cut to the point, Duragon-pixel (DuragonArt on Twitter), on here needs help to get a marrow transplant and pay the bill for it by November 1st, Otherwise, he won't make it. So if he can receive donations via his Ko-fi without mentioning NSFW, that would help him greatly. You can also get adopts from him on his Twitter account, DuragonArt.
Not gonna exaggerate this, but this is serious as Dura had to sell a couple of his OCs to get funds for this transplant. He has also gone to the length of deleting his artwork, as it is competing with the adopts he needs to save his life.
On my end, I have been reposting his adoptable stuff on Twitter when I see it in my timeline. It would help Duragon more if the message is spread by word of mouth since Twitter's algorithm is screwing him over. If possible spread the message to other websites, like Discord, Bluesky, Itaku, Newgrounds, etc.

Posted 2 years agoOk, have to apologize for not posting for a week or two. I was learning how to do shipping. I also had to shop around for some supplies too, like bubble mailers. also had to buy some new markers and fineliners, since most of my old art supplies were dried out. Also shipped out two cards to test it. Now I feel more doors have opened up because of that.
The other reason was because I was doing research on a company, so I could get some health insurance for next year. Took some time to find out they were legit and it turns out the company is verified by the US Healthcare page.

Happy new years!

First off, Happy new years to everyone to those whose supported me along with those follow my works. Last Year was a horrible year and it affected me in ways I couldn't see until I did my Art Summary of 2022, which gives me an idea how things are going art wise. As I said on the summary, I was disappointed with the outcome, as the amount of art was less than I would have liked. Also I get the feeling with some the events from 2022, I was in despair and didn't even realize it. In a sense, I think that I became the worse version of myself in 2022.
So I'm going to do better this year, and do what I intended to do last year. One I have an idea of what will be drawn for this year, so yes characters like Aislin and Celia will be a main stay from now on. Though I will make alt versions of my Porkymon characters since it is possible that I could face Nintendogo's wrath with a possible cease and desist in the future. It's best to try to future proof some stuff, so I might see if it will possible to do public polls on what their new types could be, or if they should be fused with another mon. Also gonna be focusing on original content as well and get it to be better as well.
Now for this month, the intention is taking care of any outstanding things leftover from last year. Such as Subscribestar requests, commissions, or comic commissions are going to be taken care of, so I'll be contacting back individuals in a bit about these and working on them.
One final note, there is the issue with pixiv which will be taken care of today. Newer and more recent works will be uploaded with censor bar or other methods. Older works that were removed shall be place in a folder and uploaded to mega or another online storage for safe keeping. All my works can be found on the penlinkdoodles twitter. Otherwise, I intend to start uploading everything to all my sites at the same time. The ones that might be a problem are Deviantart and inkbunny, for their own reasons; still find a solution to deal with them.

Posted 3 years agoJust a heads up guys, my mother is getting knee surgery this week, so not sure how much help will be needed. Otherwise, we're preparing some stuff before that happens.
