Update (of standard size?)

Apologies for the silence AND ALSO for the lack of response to comments, messages, and problems people have been having with my story uploads. Chapter 5 of Opus seems to have a bunch of file issues that can't be resolved unless I were to delete that file and put a new one in. Call it selfish, but I didn't really want to lose the views and comments on that one.
I think I will amend this by re-uploading a new filetype as a new submission and just keeping the other one for those it works for. Frankly, it's very frustrating that FA has so many problems maintaining what should be considered standard writing file types. Ah well.
In the meantime, I will say that I am slightly more active and responsive on my SoFurry account, which you can find here: https://pennwolf.sofurry.com/
I also vastly prefer the in-browser story reader on SF than downloading the files from here. I'm tempted to say that I will make a full transition over to SF and abandon my profile here, but it's better not to make such a BOLD MOVE for not a huge reason.

The Business

Just thought I'd put out a small little journal update. Chapter 4 is up (and 3, which I never made a journal about here I guess). Hope everyone has been enjoying the story so far. Apologies for taking so long, but you know how things are. I don't know how definitively I can shoot for a Chapter 5 deadline, since I'm really bad at setting goals for myself, but I'm going to aim by the end of the year! That'll be about one full year since I first started writing the story. Five chapters in 12 months? I could dig it. We'll see. Chapter 5 has technically been started, so it's all a matter of time.
But I MOSTLY wanted to give a huge shout-out to my boy
Kybal_Lutra for helping me through editing the chapters, being a good pal, and ALSO making me some sick-looking icons for the story. That little extra finish can really make the difference, you know?
Anyways, show him some love, I basically owe all of my troubleshooting to him anyways. He also listens to me rant over messenger about shit on my mind, like why the fuck is Go-Gurt still a thing? Why was it EVER a thing?

So I had previously uploaded Chapter 2 of Opus, but then got really busy and couldn't check back on the site or keep myself updated. Thankfully, some kind people have let me know that the file was busted. Not sure why exactly, but I'll be sure to get that fixed pronto, and figure out what went wrong (also ensure that it doesn't happen again)!

Chapter 1! Also, hello.
Posted 10 years agoJust posted chapter 1 of the story I've been working on today. Go ahead and give it a read if you think it might be up your alley. More to come soon, hopefully, the holidays are always just "a thing" for me, so that'll eat up some time.
