Seriously, it sucks. I've been out of home for eight days now and I have had to borrow a laptop every time I wanted to use the internet so for much of the eight days I've barely even checked my mail...
I mean sure, people just want to live somewhere but the plumber doesn't need to hook up the water or anything.

Posted 15 years agoOkay so a lot of you know that recently someone went and whined about having to wait two years for artwork from a certain artist. My response?
So fucking what.
This isn't a car or a kidney or something that you absolutely need in order to function in society or survive as a human being. It's a fucking picture. You should be glad that the artist in question is willing to take time out of their day and cut into the time they'd otherwise be using on other, possibly more productive, pursuits.
Even if you're paying them. Most artists I've seen here, indeed most that I've hired from here and elsewhere, charge very reasonably based on the amount of work involved.
But apparently some people would rather have their money back along with the linework (which they could then ostensibly give to one of their RP fuckbuddies to ink and color) rather than ask the artist to finish what they've started, ASAP.
But then again this is the furry community we're talking about, who, collectively, generate more butthurt per hour than the rest of the world does in a year. I know for a fact you wouldn't ask for your car back from the mechanic if he wasn't done working on it.
"Oh!" you might cry, "but he's been putting out other peoples' finished cars before mine!" Maybe because they got there first or were easier to get done? Grow up a bit already.

Information:
Yes, I will be capping how many I accept per month. I have work to consider and my own private projects.
Yes, I do write sex, but I can write other things, too. To find out, just ask.
I prefer M/F but I don't mind writing M/M or F/F. I have a list of things I won't write (human M/M for example) so ask for the list and don't ask for anything on it.
I will write about Canon (established in other media) characters as well as originals. Work ranges from 2-5 pages for short stories, though I don't mind making it longer or shorter by request.
If I don't know much about the character I will ask for some reference material, a short history, personality information, speech habits, etc. as I'd prefer not to write something to my ideas and have the person come back to me and say "Hey, my guy doesn't act like that!" Accurate portrayal is important to me.
It takes me around 3 weeks to complete a story due to previous constraints mentioned.
I'll be posting examples of my writings and short roleplay sessions with friends in the coming weeks so if you're interested but want to wait around for awhile before contacting me I won't mind.
