TLDR: Trying to help with legal costs for a friend fighting to get her son back from a terrible ex husband who is trying to ruin her life and is trying to make a case that she is a bad parent because she's a furry. The authorities are listening to the ex and not looking into both sides!

Hey guys. So, a good friend of mine (and VancouFur's 2016 Chair) is fighting to get her son back from an abusive ex husband who has thrown her life into a version of hell i would wish on no one. She has been denied to see her son for quite some time and the authorities are not taking this seriously.

The authorities are listening to her ex, who says shes a deviant, rubbing her being a furry in her face and slandering the crap out of her to the authorities. Making it out to seem like she has abused her own son, that she has been irresponsible with her parenting by taking her son to fetish parties and more. Which is entirely not true and appalling that someone would go to such a length to screw over someones life and rip a child away from a really great parent. (Her ex is a horrible person and does not treat the child with any decency. The child should not be in his care, PERIOD. But the Authorities aren't getting to the bottom of the matter and just focusing on the fact that she is a furry and obviously that means she's a bad parent, apparently.)

SO. I am spreading this link. Celina is seriously a wonderful person. Level headed, super kind, a great friend and a very loving mother. She could really use some support. She is trying to make enough to cover all the legal expenses but it is seriously a hard endeavor. Lawyers, traveling to court and any counseling the family may need after, no matter the outcome. Please help her fight to get her son back.

If you cannot send any money her way, please spread the link. This fandom sticks together and a lifestyle or fandom involvement should not be made into evidence of weather or not someone is a good parent or not. That is just ridiculous and i see discrimination of this kind come up way to often on many levels. We are people, just like everyone else, no matter what we like. We should be judged for who we are, not by prejudices and misconceptions about things we might be involved in.

Good morning folks! VancouFur was a blast, thanks to all the staff and folks who helped to pull it off! There were some hiccups, I'm sure, but nothing that can't be learned from and improved on for next year, and at a new hotel, a lot of the issues which came up shouldn't be an issue! I'm very excited!

I was so happy to make so many new friends (whom I will not list because ... goldfish memory and I don't want to be here all day trying to remember), and spend time with those I already knew and love. <3

Thanks to everyone who came to see me at my dealers den table, and especially to those who actually bought stuff from me! I got a very good response to my engravings, and that made me very happy! I will definitely be there again next year (as long as I am approved for a table), and with much more selection of stuffs!

This brings me to my rather unfortunate and humbling next point. I did not have business cards, as I was totally unprepared, and lame. I was taking all of my commission info using my tablet in notepad, and when I took it up to my room at the end of the day on Friday, it crashed, and I had apparently not hit save on my document. I think I was able to get most of them back using my chrome history, but if you came to see me on Friday and asked for a commission, please let me know. I feel like a giant turd having to ask like this, but it's the best way to reach everyone as I was sending watches and notes as I went.
