Posted 15 years agoWar and all its belongings.There was a time in life, a time where we fought wars with honor. If a man was hurt, he was free to leave the battlefield. But war changed. No more swords and bows, now we have guns. But the worst weapon of war: the nuclear bomb. War: we’re stuck with it. And with war comes weapons, In which we have to many. Weapons, so many weapons.
War used to be simple. Two small armies would meet, face to face. They would both take a side in large, open area. They would fight fairly, wounded free to leave. At the end, a group of people, or judges, would decide the winner, and that was that. Quite simple, sparring many lives as possible.
When we got guns, war started to change. Quick and drastic changes happened. Soldiers, it didn’t matter, you killed them. When WW 1 came around, a new term arose. ‘Total War’, meaning everything the enemy had, its military, its towns, even its citizens were killed. But its not why we killed them, its how we killed them.
Now when you hear about war, all of its death and killing overseas, you don’t care much. It doesn’t affect people who are not there as much as those who are. But with all this war comes a price. Not just the loss of lives, but the anger. What happens if country A goes to war with country B. Country B doesn’t like that, and uses a nuclear warhead strapped on a Saturn-V and targets country A. depending on where it hit, and the size of country A, it could destroy all of country A’s resources. Nuclear weapons are not good, at all.
Going against what I said, nukes can be good, in a sense. It is really simple: Having a nuke makes people not want to use a nuke. If country A was to fire a nuke on country B, there’s a good chance country B will fire a retaliatory strike. So in a sense, launching a nuke is like firing one against yourself, making it really hard to fire one successfully. There’s another two scenarios about nuclear weapons though. If country A fired a nuke, there is a chance that country B wont, or cant. If country A destroys B’s warheads before they launch, then country B will be defenseless. Maybe A doesn’t destroy them, country B might not fire back because it doesn’t want to condemn so many people to their graves.
The affects of activating a nuclear device are great. Not only would a nuke kill everyone in its blast radius, it would kill everything, and for a good hundred years as well. Nuclear fallout lasts a long time. If wind were to move the cloud of radiation, many problems could occur. Along with changing landscape, there is something else that is quite scary. We have over 18000 nuclear devices in the world. We only need 7 to detonate at the same time, to permanently change the weather system of the earth.
Upon all the negative affects of launching a nuke, there is another great reason why nobody would. Who wants to go down in the books as the great destroyer? Someone who in less than one second, killed ten thousand people, ruined the earth, and started all out war again? This is a big reason why we don’t launch nuclear devices.
Not just nukes, but all weapons of war are bad. Do we really need them? What happened to the honor in things? Is there no way, for us to go back to simple, safe and wars where we don’t loose a great amount of lives? Maybe we have to many weapons. Maybe we don’t need them.

FIRST OF ALL, the things i hand in for marks are my own characters.
SECOND OF ALL, they wont really be originol, like, EVERYONE has done a character with a tree out of their head. just search up "tree" and "head". its quite common on FA, yet you wont find it unless you look.
Aside from that im creating a new character!
I have a name... Terxam. should it be like ter[SH]am, like shamwow, or ter[ck]sam, like a turky sandwich.

All of a sudden, a group of grade 10's amble over and sit down near me. this i have no problem with. I had a real probelm with this girl who seems to have a hate on for asians.
I guess she has an exchange student living with her or something, but she hates em. why? ill show you... in point form.
Why she hates them... well, that's why.
She has to be THE MOST IGNORANT PERSON EVER. It REALLY pisses me off. like, HOW COULD YOU BE THAT IGNORANT. FUCK. Really good way to start the day...
