Some time ago, actually. I only get one or two comments on anything anymore. Not that I ever got many before. And I really don't mind if anyone unwatches me because I have decided not to watch some people for no personal reasons. There is no fun in it if you feel obligated, of course. This doesn't mean I'm leaving because... I've no where else to go! I'm a ghost wherever I go it seems, and not just online. To a dragon that's not always a bad thing but it does get lonely from time to time.

But this is just a ramble.

In more optimistic news I'm going to try to go sailing again on thursday.

To the Fandom:

September 4th – 10th is National Suicide Prevention Week, and, what shall become a Suicide Prevention/awareness week across Furaffinity, but, we need your help! As many of you know, we have lost several members even in our own fandom, those for whatever reasons, chose to take their own lives.

I might be a crank, but I care about you people here in this community to a certain degree to at least enjoy your company on this short-long journey of life.

I went sailing yesterday. We went to a lake that is less of a tourist attraction and we pretty much had th lake to ourselves, which was good because no one could see how dumb we looked trying to sail in a calm. Although I think the summer dinks who told us we were rigging the boat in the wrong place could have been a little more polite about it.

Not specifically asking for any, unless you want one then see below, but I wanted to write a journal that wouldn't be outdated so easily. :P

Trades: I enjoy exchanging art for art more than art for monies, especially traditional art from far away lands. Like Michigan... I accept these any time, but I'll warn you if they are to be back ordered due to lack of supplies or other such excuses.

Commissions: I have a suspicion my prices are way too low, but I don't really care because I end up donating the money anyway. So that's what I think I'll do, all the money I get from commissions will hereby be given to a dolphin org. Because I love dems and so should you. I'm thinking maybe 25-30USD for a sculpture and less for a drawing? Prices, organizations and medium are all negotiable.

Requests: if it's not something ike a complicated sculpture, ask away!

Shipping costs for sculptures and drawings are not expensive and at the buyer's discretion. I've asked for shipping money before but I'm inconsistent, so if you want to pay that's great, if not, I'm nice. :3 (An idiot)

I feel like my minimalist current one seems a little too anti social, but whenever I write anything longer, I feel like such a derp. I dunno,. And I never know just what to leave in my gallery or put in scraps. What are your personal guidelines? :3

Now that those are out of the way, I hope everyone had a good holiday. :3 I've been unresponsive do to it, even more than I have been. I find it difficult to want to go online sometimes.

I've also been having trouble with my art. I can't seem to find the inspiration anymore. If I do make a color drawing, I find myself taking shortcuts or not even finishing it. But I am going to work on something nice, and work very hard on it in hopes to A, beat myself into makiing something, B, find that part of me that I lost, C, prove to myself that my style is actually pretty decent, if I make something good.

So yeah. :P

So the idea has been appealing to me more and more. What if I drew or sketched out little misadventures that happen to me day? It was inspired by this artist: http://www.drewweing.com/ But I guarantee my doodles won't be as funny as his, and they probably won't even be comics! I'm awful at drawing comics actually, so maybe this can be used as practice. Of course, I don't live a very exciting lifestyle, like, at all. So if nothing happens that day, which is usually the case, then I'll either not draw anything, or scribble down a random thought or philosophy I had that day. This is probably more for me than anyone, but I'll upload them here anyway. :P

I'm crazy and I like to mess things up and move stuff around that are perfectly fine where they are. But I don't really like when someone favorites something I posted that I didn't do, even after I post a link to the original. And I often forget to post art by others here. So I've decided to just put them in journals. There was another reason but I can't remember it. I suppose if someone is too lazy to click the link in the submission they'd be too lazy to click it here, but whatever this was a good idea this morning. This is why I don't drink.

I still haven't heard anything back from town council about the approval of my dolphin event and it's already July! Nobody is interested in helping either. I can't get any musicians I know involved except for one, but I need to secure a drum kit first. (Funny enough, he used to bully me in middle school) I still have no designs for a poster or flyers. That's as much my fault as anyone else's, but my art style seems to be softer and deals more with internal issues instead of conflicts between good and evil or engaging people's passion. If it doesn't work out I'll just send (and encourage everyone else to) oodles of cash to Sea Shepherd or Earth Island Institute.

I haven't heard anything new about the gulf of Mexico. Last I heard the Hurricane was moving west and the relief rig captains were saying "it will miss us. NOTHING WILL GO WRONG."

My boat is moving awfully slowly. I can't get the trailer registered. I suspect that I'd been had. With some story about the previous owner dying of cancer and a lot of strange things that don't work on the boat. The boat itself is very rare and said to be the Mercedes of day cruisers back in the 70s but whoever owned it before me was obviously a land lubber who didn't know the difference between starboard and his ass. My friend told me they make plates for home built trailers. I said it might as well be home built when I'm done with it. If it get the fiberglass repaired on the boat, and paint the bottom with antifouling paint, she can sit on a mooring while I figure out what to do about a trailer. I might have to buy a new one anyway.

I want to sail in Hawaii this winter. But I STILL haven't received my ASA certifications. I called the school and the captain said he entered it into the computer himself so they should arrive in a few weeks. That was last month. Don't get me wrong, the school surpassed my expectations with actually teaching the stuff, but their organization sucks. I need at least 2 more sailors to make a good sail crew. Most of my friends aren't sailing material. They'd complain about sore hands or a rocking boat all week.

Anyway, it's nice weather here so far and I have monday off again. if I ever go inside today I might paint something. :3

I've decided I enjoyed painting and would like to do it some more. I'm not ready to reopen trades and commissions yet or do I feel my painting skills are refined enough yet to be used, but supposing I did, how many of you dear watchers would be interested in purchasing one? How much money would you relinquish for one? They come in all different sizes up to 9X12 at the moment. For now though, what would you like to see painted? :3

If I don't comment on your submissions it's just because I didn't get to them yet. Not that I comment on everyone of them. But I at least try to look at all of them. But I'm a week behind. I've been online less. When I go back to work I'll catch up because that's my peak internet hours. :P I like to be outside on time off and the internet takes away from it. Also, instead of actually catching up to submissions I write pointless journal posts about it. I have yet another three day weekend coming up, I'm going to get spoiled.

Got my replacement phone and everything is peachy. Well, to be honest the break was nice. ^_^

How have you been?

So my phone has an epic fall. Much like the famous egg, there's not much hope for it. Untill I get it replaced I will be offline for a while. I think I can still recieve texts though, but I can't turn it on without taking the battery out. X3 It was not expnsive to replace so it's not really a big deal. I'm just glad i finished all trades and commissions right before it happened. ^_^
