I am very, very serious.

What flaws do you notice consistantly throughout each piece I do? What can I do better? Any advice from those who have gotten to where they're comfortable with their style?

I'd rather not lose my style, but I'm really starting to hate on it lately, and I can't decide what's WRONG with it.

So I officially have a poopeh now. c: She's a Jack Russel/Corgi mix, and she's been quite the handful this past week, but we're slowly getting used to her. Our other dog still has yet to adjust, but he's slowly getting the hang of it, I think. When I get a new tablet (my old one is officially dead, haha. :'D) I'd like to do lots of art of them both. cB

But yes, tablet is dead. This doesn't leave me defenseless, but it makes me uncomfortable, so I'm doing a bit of tradish art, which is mostly character design, before I get my new one, which will probably be tomorree. Until then, I have some very stubborn characters that won't turn out how I want, so you might get some random doodles in the morning. C:

I've gotten some nice motivation from some dear friends of mine, and hope to actually be drawing stuff again soon. xD I have some more stuff put up on my DA, but really, it isn't much, so I'm kind of waiting until I draw something actually decent to put it up here, lol. xDD

I just watched the first episode of pokemon I've seen in... a while. One of the later episodes (the first one with Sableye in it... /notobsessedimeanwut). And I noticed something.

I kind of felt like, if I was a pokemon, I would sort of have the following convo with Ash.

Me: "...what do you say...?"

I do. I mean really. The Senate just passed a bill that the military can arrest civilians without cause. This dosn't mean the House has passed it yet, so we're in luck (sort of; they might just approve too), but Obama wants to veto, and is oddly powerless. I mean, it's just oddly sad to my childhood dreams. I once thought the president was the most powerful man in the US. Now I come to realize that Congress is a very scary group of peoples, and they have a lot of authority to do some scary stuff.

Then again, politics scare me. What do I know. Don't trust me, I always give everyone the benefit of the doubt... except politics apparently.

On another note, my pet bird is crazy, and thinks she can dance. Except cockatiel dancing = bad things. 8C Tends to mean egg binding, broken limbs, missplaced organs, those sort of awkward things. We're taking her to the vet tomorrow.

And I'm writing a dog comic script. Because I've been weird all day.AND ODDLY INSPIRED. cB

I am opening commissions for a short period of time, as my padre wants me to prove I can earn money through my work. x3;; I usually don't like doing commissions, as I am terrified that I'll get knee-deep in something I can't finish, which is why I'm only doing these a few at a time. Oh, well! Here are them rules:

I will need a clear, full-body reference, even for the sketches, and a brief personality description. I'd LIKE to know what distinguishing features are, in facial and body structure, as I just kind of pay attention to those sort of things when drawing the character so I can make sure I can draw them as accurately as possible, but this is just optional and you don't have to add it if you don't want to. :)

I reserve the right to deny a commission.

I may/may not take a while, depending on the circumstances and the type of commission.

I will not draw excessive blood/gore, nudity, sexual themes, or sensitive material. If you have to question it, it's probably not okay.

Please acknowledge that while I will accept almost all animals, I'm still practicing, and I'm not perfect. If I do make a mistake, feel free to correct me, and make sure to do it in the SKETCHING STAGE so I don't line/color the mistakes. D:

Out of curiousity, should I put up some writing on here to make things a little more active? xD;; I know I don't feel as much excitement when I see an artist I'm used to seeing ART from put up WRITING, but as of current, I'm still trying to get out of my art block, and I'm not comfortabe putting up just sketches (which is what I do most of the time. xD), and I'm slow going on the pictures I DO decide to finish, so I figured I might as well offer to put up some writing samples instead. :D

I don't know, I know I'll probably look back on them in the not-so-distant future and be ashamed, but you can lol at them anyway. xDD;; I might just revive old stories to keep from writing plotless short-stories that have no visual end (baw, like my comics 8c), in which case, the plots will probably be pretty odd, as I did most of my writing when I was younger and didn't have much confidence in drawing, but I can't ever abandon any of my characters, it seems, so the stories are never really completely redone, just altered in such a way that I hope I can salvage it.

I thought about giving a brief definition of what each story is meant to be, but I figured that would either be spoiling it or... those who are already turned off by this idea don't want to hear it. xD SO, I'll leave it up to you guys. c:

The 24-hour comic challenge in about half an hour. I probably won't finish it, but I figured I'd try. I think it's more of a chellgne to see if I could flesh out the idea for a short, 24-page comic that I could use for my art class. Depending on how each page turns out, I may/may not put them up on here, it really depends on what story I decide to follow.

So yep. Here goes nothing.

So, my state is actually one of he very few places in the US that has this cool Finland bear dog. That looks like a more wlf-like border collie. I called my dad and flipped out on him. Because Idaho really doesn't have a lot going for it. AT ALL. People make punny jokes about our name, and we're like... insane politically. AND FINALLY. WE HAVE SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT US. FFFFIIIINNNAAAALLLY. And these dogs are like... one of the RAREST dog in the world.

BAH. So happy. <3 My family now thinks I'm crazy.
