Razzek Patrion Shout Out
Posted 10 years agohttps://www.patreon.com/confiscatedretina?ty=h
I know there are lots of artists doing Patreons out there. I might not be a fan of them but
razzek is one of the few that I'd whole heartedly support. We've been friends for the longest time and is a very talented artist that's practiced long and hard to produce amazing artwork. Give her art a look and then look up Razzek's bio a bit to realize how special and dedicated of a person she is.
Toss in $5, every little bit will help

Fat BlindBag Scale Pony Commissions
Posted 10 years agoI've been messing with making molds and two part casting acrylic, and I've made a mold for a fairly fat blind bag scale pony figure.
The commissioned ponies themselves will be made out of plastic blanks like these ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16957658/ ), though I can modify it a bit, normally I'll add custom hair and tails, though I can also do more extensive modifications like adding wings, maybe adding holes in the legs like on Changlings, increasing the bulk in certain areas (not going to do blob ponies... yet, but I'll increase certain parts a little bit if the pony in question is noticeably heavier in certain areas.) Cant remove too much of whats already on the blanks though.
Still, you can buy the blanks outright which will be around $15 plus shipping.
And I can even add hair and paint them for between $35-$55 depending on how extensive additional modifications you want, like increasing the bulk, multiple cutie marks, accessories exc.
Some examples, this would be a $35-$40 commission considering that the hair is a bit complicated
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17012913/
This is a $45 seeing as Munchy has a lot of cutie marks
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17012857/
Anyway, if your interested send me a note labeled "Fat Pony Commission" and we will discuss what you want and pricing.

Two Games You Really Should Consider Kickstarting
Posted 11 years agoAright, I've got two Kickstarters I want to hopefully gain a little bit of attention. Both of them are games, one of them is more furry than the other, but both are games that I can confirm are very fun and worth every little bit of your hard earned money.
First up, Catacombs
https://www.kickstarter.com/project.....64/catacombs-0
This is an interesting combination of Dexterity and Dungeon Crawl, it's basically a kind of classic D&D scenario where you go into a Dungeon and fight monsters, find weapons and upgrades, and defeat the big bad guy at the end. Though instead of rolling dice and moving around by calculating movement and pacing yourself across a grid of hexagons, you instead, flick your character disk.
That's basically the entire game, but isn't, because you can be a warrior and flick yourself around the arena, ricocheting against monsters, or an archer, who can move about, and then place and flick even smaller 'arrow' disks to hit monsters at a safe distance, or a wizard that can summon this fat purple disk in front of friends and or foes to either protect or to merely get in the way.
I played this game at a convention and ever sense then I've wanted a copy myself very badly. Unfortunately it's done by a very small company and every time they reprint the game it immediately vanishes from the shelves. So they decided to host a kickstarter that will help them get better equipment to handle the increase in demand and do some very much needed modifications to some of the rules and the artwork. This is a game that is going to be fun for a very wide audience of people and is worth every bit of its $50 price tag (it says $55 but that's in Canadian currency)
Second, the "Ironclaw Book of Adventures" created by
Rafferty
https://www.kickstarter.com/project.....tures?ref=live
This is an add on companion book to a pen and paper RPG system called Ironclaw, an 'anthropomorphic RPG'. It's less of a 'furry RPG' but more of an 'RPG that mixes up classes and species by using anthro animals instead of classic fantasy species'. While by itself it isn't very useful, if you splurge to get the digital copy with the Omnibus it will provide you and your friends much fun. The system itself is very simple once you get over the hurtle of the idea of 'not combining dice' into a single pool. Not to mention that your stats are actually the size die you roll (if your bad at something, it's a D4, if your epic at something it's a D12 and so forth).
Now, to demonstrate how intuitive, simple, and fun this entire system is, I've played host to three games, one that was unfortunately cut off because it was with some college friends and classes were getting in the way, but the next campaign lasted for around an entire year, meeting up every Sunday over Skype, and a third one which is still ongoing. Here's the big thing though, these were the first times I've ever played a pen and paper RPG, not just hosted them, but flat out ever played one. If a newbie like me can host a successful campaign, I bet you can to.
Also, I'm kind of working on some prototype home brew weight gain rules which have proven to be interesting ;3
Anyway, if you back Catacombs, Ironclaw, or both, you shouldn't be disappointed, and will have a very very fun time.

World of Tanks: F.A.T. SQUAD
Posted 12 years agohttp://worldoftanks.com/
I'm looking for others who play World of Tanks. It's seriously a fun game, like the 'thinking man's' first/third person shooter. It has such a different feel that makes you think and develop a proper strategy and attack weak spots and is overall not the 'reaction speed' test like first person shooters.
It's free, so at least give it a try.
Also, if you know anything about armoring and other certain things, you will love that the spaced armor reacts like proper spaced armor.

For All You Fat Croc Lovers Out There
Posted 12 years agoAs someone who enjoys the hilarity of the cheap 'so bad it's good' movies, I stumbled across this "Rango" knock off that will soon come to the U.S. as a Walmart exclusive. To my surprise I happened to discover a lovely croc character in the trailer that seems to be better animated than all the other characters because of his 'jiggle physics'.
Why don't you watch for yourself. I hope to see "Bog" the croc in plenty of fatty fan art in the future.

THIS MUST GET FUNDED NOW
Posted 13 years agohttp://www.kickstarter.com/projects.....animusic-3-dvd
Now, let me tell you that this DVD plus the two before it is for EVERYONE. If you have the slightest hint of enjoyment when listening to music and/or visual animation then you will LOVE this (if you dont... well then back to the silent white box to you then)
Now for those of you that were born in the 90's, you might have been able to roam the interwebs in the 2000's or were watching G4 TV (or whatever they are calling it now/back then) when you saw this little piece of animation.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyCIpKAIFyo
That, is Animusic.
What you might have not known is that they have made a SECOND DVD full of even MORE awesome stuff like THIS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=381IrDcy1S8
And THIS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBOQcQO0IFI
Now, they have finished what's basically a new animation production pipeline (the science behind these animations are awesome because they can be compared to 'digital robots' of sorts but it's complicated) and now. they need money, so please, SEND THEM MONEY. I bet you totally want to see the 'new' version of the 'pipe dream' animation.

The Perfect Storm (Hiatus)
Posted 13 years agoWell, some of you... or to be specific all 3 of you might be wondering where I have been for 2 days... well, long story short not only has my tablet committed suicide... again, someone 'also' crashed into my back yard and into a telephone pole not only discnnecting the electricty for several hours, but also the telephone lines for an unspecified amount of time. I've only got a small window of internet at a friends place but after that I'm essentially disconnected.
So anyway, I'll put up a new journal once I come back... eventually... hopefully.

LIFE SUPPORT FAT FURS RAFFLE
Posted 13 years agoNostalgia Goggles: Motor Toon Grand Prix
Posted 13 years agoKind of out of character for me to put the Pheal Gud character in the closet for his journal, but on occasion I'll quickly put on the Nostalgia Goggles and ramble about some sort of movie/game/other pop culture that has gotten me thinking
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cuj.....e_gdata_player
Today is a game that is a little obscure, though not obscure enough for Sony to not put on the PSNetwork as downloadable content. Motor Toon Grand Prix is one of those games that I loved in my childhood and probably started my love for that cell shaded 'quarky' cartoon style that is now becoming quite popular in games. It was also one of the first 'cart games' that I remember playing when I first got the PSOne and rented a few games from the local Video Rental Store (for those of you too young to know, a Video Rental Store is kind of like going to the Netflix video and games distribution center and picking up the video/game there and driving home, except there were usually one in every mall or stripmall)). Anyway, one of those games was "Motor Toon Grand Prix" and I just fell in love with it, but I usually got distracted by other things and forgot to ever go out and get the game.
Several years later I was browsing the Electronics Boutique... man I'm starting to feel old. Anyway, I was browsing and I ran across Motor Toon once again, and although I owned a PS2 and was starting to see the age of the PSOne games, I bought it anyway because it was cheap and I had always been searching for it in the back of my mind.
One of the big things that this game has for it that makes me enjoy this game even now on the PSOne emulator, is the wonderful toony aesthetics. It does show some age, and you can even count the polygons on your hands, but that really cant hurt the game, its colorful backdrops and amusing track layouts are very good for such an old game. There is so much whimsy in every part of this game, including the characters that range from this 50's greaser/red baron like pilot kid who drove a red cartoon 50's ish Chevy with the big ol wing and flares (You see the kid flying a GeeBee in the intro, which instantly made him my favorite character), to a pair of mafia penguins driving the classic black mafia Cadalac with the running boards, and an Oriental stereotype (theres a blend of both Chinese and Japanese stereotypes, but it is played for laughs) driving one of the 6-wheeled indie car prototypes. It's all cute and fun as the power ups are just as cartoony to silly bombs and pies, and the cars have faces on them and they bend about while you swerve around enemies. And if you lost, your character was killed by being squished under a 32 Ton weight. The biggest thing I loved though, was that it felt FAST, like your going down roads at a thousand miles per hour, that feeling of speed is something I miss in games as of recent. They feel 'quick' and I need fast reflexes, but they don't feel 'fast', like the entire camera should be shaking and the wind starting to peel the paint off.
I'm probably being silly when I say this, but I felt that the game was 'aimed' at kids, but was 'made' for adults, like this cartoon styled cart game was not 'kiddie', that it actually had a slightly serious tone to it, an air of professionalism that stopped the game makers from adding fart jokes and other attention grabbers that you see in 'kids' movies now. That it was conceived through the mentality of old school Warner Brother's Cartoons that were very violent and included jokes that adults enjoyed.
There I go, and if you actually played the game or see videos of it your probably shaking your heads saying "What is he talking about".
Anyway, I personally love the game, but I am probably in the minority because after that there are many different cart racers that do a lot more characters and such, but I cant help but look back at Motor Toon and wish it had a sequel...
Oh wait, it did...
It was called "Gran Turismo: Driving Simulator"
But personally, I still miss that whimsy, that kind of 'semi serious' humor and feel that made you both grit your teeth as you try and get the right power up to make it to the finish, and awe at the surroundings to the point where you almost crash into a wall. I'd love to make a Motor Toon Grand Prix Sequel (though in all technicality it would be the 3rd game considering that the game sold in America was in reality the sequel in Japan, they never released the first on in America partially because it wasn't really 'good'.))
There could be so much that could be added to the game, I personally even like the idea of partially taking it away from the "Cart Racer" genera, turn it into a semi-serious racing game where there will be both whimsy and action.
Anyway, thank you for muddling through my first "Nostalgia Goggles" Journal, please comment below about your opinions on the game, even if you have not played it.

Plastic Figurine Commisions
Posted 14 years agoWell, this is a surprise, I didn't initially plan on starting this up so early, but heck, it's the new year so why not start something brave and new now. So what am I talking about?
I can now accept custom plastic figurine commisions for $75 each + shipping.
Examples
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6942516
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6695250
This includes making the digital 3D model and consoletation. The finished plastic figurines will measure around 2-3 inches in height, give or take, and are made of durable ABS plastic (same stuff they make Legos out of). There are four colors of plastic to choose from, white, black, blue, and red. Though how supply and demand the list might change, but all of the plastics can be painted over with acrylic paints.
One thing I can not sell are characters that are owned by large companies, like Renamon, Sonic, or Pikachu to give an example. Fan characters on the other hand are a bit on the edge so I will be hesitant to do those.
Please leave a comment or note me if you have further questions
Prices
Digital 3D bust- $25
Plastic bust $35
Digital 3D full body- $60
