Well I finally got the stormshadow together but did not put the plasma blast gun on cause I need to get at it's underside for painting, so I have forgone putting it completely together, but the majority of it has come together, now I also have to mud up the bottom tracks just cause it never ceases to amaze me how even with all it's parts it still dosn't fit together 100% there's even a nasty little gap Im going to have to putty fill in the front section just cause the resin part is a centimeter out, just too short for a perfect fit, Forge world should never gone to the combination plastic resin kit because of the slight differences and resin shrinks more than plastic when it cures. Don't get me wrong, it dose look nice for what it is, but it'll never be a Lucius pattern stormshadow. I may show a finished picture of it in time painted and muddied around the tracks and guards :3

Well I survived the driving class for today, with the snow falling, and playing around with the traction control and differential locks on the MSVS aka Canyonero, Kind of surprised my driving instructor with the roads that were taken into town, told him if we kept on the path we were traveling we'd come to a single lane bridge that was wood with asphalt. Was kind of a little surprise to all the civilian traffic, to see a convoy of big green trucks moving through the streets of my town's side streets, even when moving through some narrow like streets too, so far I have like 212km total and hopefully with the next 2 to 3 more classes I can get to 500 or just shy of 500km before the driving test. the night before I was let go from the course to attend the St Barbra's/ soldier's christmas dinner, won a little portable travel dvd player for those long trips when im not behind the wheel. God I can't believe some people in the winter, just can't drive, seen like 3 cars spun out in the ditch on the way home after the weekend course was let go to head home, it's not spring, summer or fall, it's icy now and it's time to slow down and take things easy and not rush to get to where your going. Well I guess since winter is now officially here im going to see more and more my fair share of car's and trucks in the ditches and general people that you wonder how they ever got their licences in the first place to drive XD and yush if it sounds like Im bragging, I can since I never had an accident and never been in the ditches, I beat the statistics for a teen driver. I've pulled some things dirivng that I don't think other's may have done, like driving a front wheel drive vehicle out of a low park area in the winter, up a steep icy hill and being the first out besides a rear wheel truck and 4 wheel drive jeep, mud bogging in a ford taurus, self recovering from the mud, crash avoidance with the loss of hydraulic breaks, gearing down and using parking break applications to come to a safe stop and limping my vehicle home to fix the lines myself.

Well not the fun begins, assembling the many many pieces of the storm shadow, painting it up and getting it ready in my guard army as one of many engines of war, looks simple enough to put together so far, not as simple as a complete resin model like I wish I could have ordered since I still miss the old lucius pattern stormshadow bur meh I guess I can give this one a vostoryian paint scheme XD

Yush I have taken to calling the new MSVS the Canyonero now cause that song is so true about it, though we do know the causes for the fires now so it's not so unexplained, and yes even though it's turbo charged it's still some what slower on the go, but sure a hell of a lot faster than an MLVW that it's replacing *sinckers* Oh and you can seat about 35 in it too in the cargo back, that was on a weekend exercise that the only qualified driver was able to do in the training area, so yes, it IS the Canyonero and yes next weekend we will be taking a loooooong drive up to North bay and back to get out 500 Km before our final road test. XD Just remember to stay away from the student driver's on the 401, cause it truly is a squirl squashing, dear smucking driving machine X3~

I finally broke down an just had to get myself a Stormblade super heavy tank though it wasn't the Lucius pattern one that I was wanting cause of the GW plastic kits coming out taking away the mars and Lucius for the cheaper ones, I hat the GW plastic kits of the Bane Blade as well as the Storm Shadow the fuel tanks really don't look right if their not like the huge drums like on the mars and Lucius pattern ones atleaste Forge world helps out by making little modifications to the plastic kit with it's resin add ons for the Arkurion plastic kits, though it will never be a true super heavy to me like my Lucius Bane blades.

Both the Mars and Lucius pattern's I say should never have been discontinued in my opinion. ;.;

This was the first time I was advance party in setting up Ballistic Beaver, as well as getting a FOB set up before the main body arrived to kick off the EX, god, they said that there would be a helicopter insertion, as well as an infantry Op-For but that didn't happen so they took some of us from advance party an made op-for from us there. We kind of over did the demolition EX when we stripped off the decking of our collapsible bridge which now needs to be rebuilt. Finished unpacking the stores off the trucks today, getting a day of needed R&R time to clean kit and get it repacked for any other up coming EX's or the MSVS driver course. Getting up to base took longer than expected when my SEV developed an unexpected malfunction with the windshield wiper on the driver side, had to McGuiver fix the damn thing to get through the road move, arrived alive after leaving at 11am and getting on base at 1815 hr's and that was on a Thursday night. The next morning was down in the training area setting up the demolition bridge, manning the FOB because of ammo and explosives being issued, than setting up mod tentage for the sections, God I was glad to make it home last night. I was left behind a few times by the lead vehicle cause my SEV only goes 80 pinned to the floor max 100 Km/Ph if I'm lucky going down hill, than a sharp drop to around 40 Km/Ph going up hill, Nothing like driving a truck that is like drop kicking hippies cause of how inefficient it really is. I'll be happy to get my MSVS course done so that we can decommission those truck in my unit and sell em off at auction to farmers to be general work trucks at farm's :D

Well the first 2 days of the course were kind of new for me, though the test was a recertification for airbreaks for the others that had it, an me being 1 of 5 that are like new on this course too, was kind of overjoyed when I saw my test score getting a 19 out of 20 :D though the next few portions of the course will be the mechanical aspects and some drive time behind the wheel, be afraid be verreh afraid on the 401 east bound when you see the big green trucks, cause there'll be student drivers on the road soon >:3

Well, didn't think I could pull it off, got through my course package for my driver wheel conversion, finished off the Air Break's package to go on my MSVS conversion course, yay for doing 11 chapters in 1 day, now my eyes feel like someone's poked em with crayons X3 but at least that's now out of the way, and now I get to sit through a air breaks course tomorrow for my first day, oh joy! I feel like such a slut of a reservist, going from courses to tasking's and anything inbetween to pay my bills as they come, but hey, when my bills are gone, guess I could just than begin to have fun again once more and maybe, just maybe finally go to a AC or other kind of fur con, an maybe get a suit commission done too for myself. Though I think I just might give my poor mother a heart attack if she were to see my suit, oh well *EG*

Well Remembrance day has come and gone, and now I can put my battle dress uniform up till the Christmas dinner, Nothing like doing Cenotaph down in port on the 6th and honor guard in a highschool today on the 11th. Thanked a vet that was on the Juno beach landing for D-Day yesterday, he had some interesting stories about his time in service. Hope everyone has thanked a local vet in their community today, Canadian or American because freedom isn't free....

Well, looks like walking into the Ops room helps for getting a tasking thrown into meh lap, Gotta work on getting my passport ready to head down south to Yuma, AZ. Though I won't know what I'm going to be doing till that time comes, but it must be something to do with driving about down there on base, so yay I get to play American for a little over a month in the sun. Blargh!... I hate humidity, but oh well, bills won't pay themselves, on a plus side I'm a lil closer to Bad Dragon for that time being, might take the opportunity to see if they take walk in toy orders? X3~

Looks like my armies have finally stopped growing, both in troops, all that's left to do is to paint up the 5k or 6k points worth of guard army and my space wolves, vehicles can come later as that would be the last on the list to build with what's left, my Emperor's children have finally filled out, no more growing pains for them, and my deamon hunters are just done also, though now the waiting game begins to see if a new deamon hunter codex is in the works or my ol codex is still playable. Pics of the armies soon to follow, if I can figure just where to begin on painting? Yay for army add X3

Like OMG!..... I can't believe while playing with one of my BD toys tonight I finally took the knot of Razor, the only large toy among my BD toys, but still smaller than my seadragon. OMG!..... I can't believe it popped in like that, made me gasp in surprise!... It was like Ooooooh Murrrrrrr!...... AS soon as I felt him for the first time, I don;t think I'll be walking right tomorrow, but than Im gonna give him a try again tomorrow again and instead of the two time he knoted me I might make him knot me repeatedly *pants murring* Oh, An I just might have pics of it one time possibly.....
