Maybe time to actually update my gallery
Posted 8 years agoOk, so it's been a few years since I posted anything.
Good news is that I found some of the art made of Pike, which I'd misplaced on my hard drive, so I will begin posting it, as long as I can post who drew it. Instead of uploading it all in one big go, I'll upload one or two at a time. If it keeps me regular and hooks me on posting again, who knows, it might even get me back into drawing! ...Actually, I hope it gets me started drawing again.
And I guess I could throw in a few Second Life screenshots of the custom work I've done to bring Pike to life in the virtual world.

Any ideas?
Posted 10 years agoI'll admit... I've been in a rut for over a year. Not many ideas on the furry-drawing side of things. Got some inking to finish on a cool pencil drawing which was sent to me a while ago.
I could try writing short stories or a mini-web-serial. Do you believe many people read Hyper-fur fiction?
What would you like to see me do with the Pike character?
Ideas for amusing situations or art?

Doodles
Posted 11 years agoI feel like drawing~ <3
I have a few ideas, and all I need is a little bit of paper. Or do I?
But what to draw first!? self-portraits? Gift art? group shots? Oh! The possibilities!!!
Maybe some screenshots of some of my SL builds?

SL Connection Issues
Posted 12 years agoFor the second time since summer, I have encountered the same problem with Second Life...
It's a crash that completely shuts down the viewer suddenly... as if it were a light bulb that blew out. And then, it happens EVERY time I try to log in, shutting down the client automatically JUST BEFORE it connects me to the grid.
I don't know what causes it. Last time it happened I wasn't able to log in for 4 days. I don't know how to fix it. I've tried everything, but it looks like it's a problem from the Linden Labs server-side... As if it can't find my location or connect to my account.
Has this problem ever happened to you?
It bothers me a lot.

Happy Holidays! :3
Posted 12 years agoIt's hard to believe how fast this year went by.
I hope everyone stays safe and has some enjoyment this season. :)

Best Art Software?
Posted 13 years agoWhich graphics software do you prefer to use?
Why that one above the rest?
So I've been looking at getting back into drawing, and since I don't have a scanner but do have a small tablet, I've been wondering which software was best for my intended use.
So I turn to the artists of FA for advice and ask what's their personal choice of software.
I'm looking for a graphics editing program that allows me to do:
1.) easy freehand sketching and
2.) vector inking : and easy control/adjustment of line weight
I'd especially like to have the ability to turn/rotate the canvas smoothly as to tilt the drawing to draft my lines comfortably.
Comment and let me know what you think.
I've worked in Gimp and Photoshop mostly, but always found it difficult to draw as well in these as I would on a real sheet of paper.
