Storm warning for Midwest US!
Posted 6 months agoMinnesota and Wisconsin locals and tourists! At this point I don’t know if also Michigan but they’re gettin’ counted too as a precaution. If ya know anyone who lives there also;
Tomorrow, on Monday strong weather is coming with potential to be dangerous.
Don’t know if applicable to anyone who would see my page but I frankly do not care. So far according to what reports say the series of storms possibly including at least 2 inch hail, flooding, strong winds, and tornadoes may very well be touching down.
This is enough reason to at least post a heads up journal. I know Texas got hit, a few folks I’m talking to say it’s not finished yet either.
Please be safe out there and look after people and animals at risk.
Your pets would not abandon you. If safest choice is to leave please take them with you or get someone else to do it.
Be vigilant for the physically disabled, elderly, and those who may need help or escape but cannot drive.
Genuinely I hope the worst is cleanup and damage to things that can be replaced. Lives cannot and I wish anyone also in the path all the love and good vibes and prayers.

Posted 6 months agoHello weary travelers, a small but important collective of reminders for you if you may need them.
Hydration, proper hydration. Have you had any water recently? Herbal teas, a little bit of lemon juice or those gamer marketed powders can help make plain water more palatable. Throw some orange slices or cucumber in it, but if you need water or feel you are dehydrated after not drinking for a while or perhaps not drinking yet today please do so.
When is the last time you ate something? Are you in need of a meal or a snack? Girl dinner will not sustain you; if you haven't had anything recently or your body is telling you it needs sustenance please try your best to eat something.
Medication and supplement! Check your meds to see if you need a refill, check that your supplements are not expired. Look at the time, do you need to take any of it?
BRREEAATTHHHE. Breathe. Big inhale for 10 seconds or as long as you are comfortable with, hold for 3, exhale slowly for another 10 seconds.
Unclench your jaw. Are you sitting like a prawn or a person? If the former please take a moment and do a big stretch and adjust yourself.
If you need to use the facilities then please use them. Putting it off because you are trying to grind out a schedule or a goal. You WILL be able to resume but holding everything in much like a scream is not good for you. It's super duper not good for your gi system either and that has connections to your stomach, your brain, how well you sleep or can eat food. It is not good for anyone. I get it can be a tmi thing but I am serious. If you need to pause your game, your convo, a study sesh, whatever-please just do it.
Are there any chores you need to get done? Maybe you've got laundry to do or dishes to do. You got this. It is not necessary to rush.
Are you in need of some time in the sun or some oral vitamin d? Vitamin d can connect to a lot of things including mood and sleep. This is particularly relevant if it is a dreary, cloudy, dark, weather which your seasons are throwing at you.
Here, have a lovely little beetle person. They also care about you and want to paint you something special.
