Migrating
Posted 12 years agoStarted slow migration to the newer account, pushing all normal use to it so all future favs and watches will be on i t. Since there's no automation for this (I've offered to pay for it in the past even), this will result in my watches eventually transitioning to the newer account with favs staying as they are with the old and possibly duplicating in the new (I'm not going to remove them from the old).
What does this mean for you? Probably nothing, unless you never paid attention to the short profile I've had up for a very long time right below all the registered since and user name and stuff.
Update: Since I have this old account as default in another browser, I occasionally derp and add things with this when I shouldn't, which may cause confusing +fav on this, +fav on the new main account, and -fav from here. Sorry about that.

FAQ and something
Posted 12 years agoQ: MTG?
A: Nope, not related to that. You can keep claiming the allusion though, I don't really mind.
Q: Why'd you remove your watch/favs?
A: I probably mistook you as the original artist. I try my hardest to have those only on the original artist's things. Commissions or giftees - while likely partially responsible for creation of them - do not really contribute the parts that I really like about the those things .
Q: Why do you like this... "poorly" made stuff?
A: Technical skill is all fine and good, but unfortunately it does nothing for liking the subject matter. I favor interesting or enjoyable subjects more than technical skill used to make them. A crudely drawn kitten is much more interesting than Mona Lisa.
Q: There was this comment, shout, fav, watch, whatever...
A: I probably just couldn't think of anything to say about it, and I generally don't give plain emoticon replies (e.g. catfacing :3) outside of instant messaging for whatever reason.
Q: Nothing else? (fake)
A: Nope, people don't actually ask me much anything.

Contact
Posted 13 years agoI've abandoned some contact addresses, so if anyone has tried to use them, better ask for up-to-date one from me here (send note).
I have Skype besides XMPP nowadays as well, though voice chat is a no-go.
Also reminder, new stuff will be uploaded to maiatherne, only old stuff gets here, though I'll continue to use this as my primary communication channel as I have no interest in transferring all my favs and shit to the newer account (too much work for no real benefits).
(crossposted on both accounts with some alterations)

Commissions?
Posted 15 years agoConsidering doing some commissions. Would appreciate some insight into how much I could charge for sketches and if IBAN is good enough (really would like to avoid as many middlehands as possible, and IBAN is the most direct with exception direct cash payment in person).
(PayPal or such would require increasing the prices slightly since they subtract a portion of withdrawals)

Dead?
Posted 16 years agoI think it's official now, I haven't drawn anything seriously for a damnable year D: And I think I've done only two scribbles on top of that.
The reason's lack of motivation more than lack of interest. I got plenty of free time too (no friends of any kind for the past 5+ years, barely any work and I dropped out of school), so no problems from there either. Waiting to get my prescription for anti-depressants which hopefully help at least a little.

Something
Posted 18 years agoApparently I've gone on an forever hiatus on arting, been over a year now since I last drew anything beyond 2" by 2" scribble, and even the last of those was over half a year ago.
Not entirely true, because I actually managed to try draw a month ago, but that's about it.
