Feeling devoid of inspiration. So after digging into DA where all the old (and I mean old) stuff lives. I decided to re-draw a few things. I'm at like 75% on this one thing. So hopefully I'll be able to finish it to show ya'll soon. Think I'm finally understanding how to paint without spending 5 hours on line art first. Cuz that doesn't really make sense... Also watching speed paintings that cool people post is very helpful. ty ty. 10/10 would recommend.

New season started so me and the squad are back into it. Anyone else play? Who is your favorite character to use?
I really like the Wizard (obvs) but the Monk and Crusader are also WAY fun to play.

I wish other people could see what we name our characters without having to dig for them. My monks name is Tenzin and Alex plays as a Barbarian named Iroh. TELL ME THAT'S NOT PERFECT. Actually all of mine are named after a fandom, the the exception of my witch doctor who's name is Murderella. Wow, nerd much? Let's see, my wizard is Severus, Crusader is Brienne (of Tarth), Barbarian is Ygritte, and my demon hunter who I wish I would have made a lady... is Endymion. I just like how the costumes look on the lady model better ;.; Even if the demon hunter is the freaking hardest one to play with IMO. The wolf pack you can summon is pretty dope.

Anyone else miss being a wear-person? Like wear wolf or wear bear!
They should bring that back. I would pay money for a new character class and a new campaign.

I know a few names, but what are your favorites?

I need a project and it doesn't look like anyone wants a commission so I guess I'll start something for myself. The only apprehension I have is that the things that interest me don't seem to interest that many other people. That or I'm just bad at advertising my wears, lol. Every time I am happy with how an ink turns out, people don't seem to care very much unless it is digital art with 1000000 colors. So we will see. Trying to be positive but my brain is wired negative and it is always an adventure. I feel better hen I have a project going anyway. Actually it is one of the only times I feel good at all anymore. Probably going to have something to do with unicorns because... I can't see why not. Maybe some day I'll be brave and get back into flowers.

I feel so much better about everything when it is warm outside... Maybe it also has to do with me finally getting over my last job. That place really sucked the life out of me. But I really miss a few of the people I worked with, and it is so difficult to track them down to hang out cuz we are all adults doing adult shit always. u.u; It is hard when people get burned into your heart right? ANYWAY, I still have anxiety about just about everything, but I feel like I am going to start being more productive in the art department. It is the one thing that I actually enjoy devoting hours of my life to. So like, why not do it as much as possible.

Guess I should thank everyone who has ever supported me doing what I love, be it commissions, trades, or letting me just draw your characters all willy-nilly. Any sort of practice is needed and so much appreciated. I really can't express it properly. Fucking love you guys. ♥ Someday when I win the lottery /or/ someone gives me a small loan of a million dollars, I want to open an art gallery and promote peoples art who otherwise may not have the opportunity. Art = life.

Got the day off and bills to pay and its easy as pie but I just sooo do not want tooooo. Also I'm working on other refs cuz I never have them for anyone and all my brain babies are secret and ignored a lot. But not for any real reason other than I just never really draw them that much. Wana change that. Cuz they are always on my mind. Like 99% of my day is spent thinking about them all. Wtf

Last night I had food poisoning, fun yeah? This morning our power is out. It snowed all night and its fudgin freezing in here! Some power lines fell down on the highway and crushed a car, but everyone was ok thankfullly. Windy as helllll out there. They said the power would be back on 15 mins ago and so far, nuthin. Maybe I'll have to bust out the sketch book. If I can feel my hands that is lolllll *ded* phone has 36% battery. If I die u guys can fight over my stuff.

Recently reformatted the old PC and added a new graphics card / windows 10. Finally figured out how to get SAI to run properly, and I'm pretty sure I still need to adjust my monitor setting back to how they were. IDK how much I like this 10 business, but I didn't really have a choice so yay! So far it seems OK. The entire thing boots up in like five seconds which is epic, and Sims 4 runs beautifully. Good times.

Anyway, I'm sure no one really needed to know all that. I just like talking to myself? lolllll *truth*

I legit hate myself

So this has been going on for a while. I uninstalled it and re-installed it twice. It is freaking hard to find anything on google that is helpful, but someone suggested that it has to do with my ad-blocker and the stupid amount of ads the skype is constantly running at the top of itself. Well fuck you skype. I'm not uninstalling my ad-blocker, ads can kiss my ass. So until I actually figure out how to bypass this shit, I can't use it. ;.;

Am I the only person with this issue? I'm using chrome as my browser, although I don't think it matters to skype... Does it? HELP ME.

I want to do things. But I don't ever know what things. Share some things with me?

Journal about how cool I am. *puts on shades*

I dreamed that my hands were covered in various sized splinters. The largest being the size of a woodchip. I was standing in my dads bathroom, pulling them out and dropping them in the sink. The sink was pretty full of them but i kept finding more. Each time I pulled one out I could feel it dragging against my skin. From the inside. No blood, just scary and I didn't want to pull them out but I knew I had to.

It can be difficult to be a positive thinker, but so far it seems to be working for me. Repetitive positive reinforcement. I have to train myself like a dog, but it works so whatever. "I am calm and collected." has become my new mantra of sorts, and what do you know, I feel very calm and collected. Cutting out the caffeine also helps I'm sure. Oh the things I will do to not have to go talk to any doctors. I have decent insurance and everything, it is just that people freak me out! I should stop and thank everyone who was kind enough to comment on my last journal. I am either up real high or way down low, you guys are always super nice to me and make me feel more secure.

Random bit of random news. My possibly oldest friend on planet earth found me on DA and sent me her number. Like we were friends as children and then I moved away and back and away again. We fall in and out of touch. Well I texted her today and found out that it was her birthday. She is one of those fabled "real friends" of legend who, even if you don't talk to or see each other for YEARS, when you do it is like you never stopped hanging out. How freaking lucky am I to have found a person like that? I don't deserve her or any of you, but for some reason ya'll sick with me. ♥

Art wise I have been doing more traditional stuff... Human related so I'm not sure how much this site particularly cares but for the sake of an update. I am going to push myself so hard to make character refs cuz shit. I NEED TO. I want to commission art from people. DO IT. SIT DOWN AND FREAKING DO IT. *shakes self*

You have a few hours before you have to go do something (work) So you feel like you could be doing something productive (art) But you just sit there and waste time till before you know it, you have to go do that other thing and the productivity time for the day has been lost.

I waste the time I could be drawing, worrying about made up scenarios that will likely never happen. I waste time typing whiny journals for hours, deleting half of what I wrote. I waste time clicking around the internet to feel connected, to gather inspiration, motivation, and when I finally have it, it's three days later and I'm driving to work. Can't art at work because I can't concentrate on lines when there are 20 kids in the shop trying to steal socks, and the other people I work with are too involved in whatever is going on on FB to pay attention. Can't art after work because I feel like I have no time to get into the flow before I need to be asleep so I can go back to work. work work work. bills bills bills.

Making art my major source of income is a dream, but it is so far out of reach when I can't hardly motivate myself to sketch once a day let alone finish a piece every day. And I know I shouldn't assign value to my work based on the response it gets. But I do it anyway. I always have.

Is this adult ADHD?
Is it generalized anxiety?
Is it depression?
Combination of all these things?
Am I trying to put a label on something that isn't actually real?

HERE I GO WASTING MORE TIME.
