It will most definitely be dead over there for a while. I haven't drawn anything new and i still have a commission underway that i need to work on and finish.
I'm making the switch because as i've gotten older my name hasn't evolved with me or made me feel at home. Honestly overtime it has only added to my growing dysphoria and disconnection to self and my art.

Ploof got me through a formative time of my life but I'm no longer that persona anymore than i was when i chose it. TBH it was just a easy name that surprisingly no one had claimed so it made it simple to use everywhere.

But now I'm transitioning irl and finding even my real name doesn't suit me anymore. I am trying this name out and for now it feels right.

So please address me as Salix or Osier. my pronouns are they/them or he/him.

I'll be attempting to limit my social media presence to fewer places because i can't keep up with everything and its distracting from my goals in life. I WILL be posting my work in progress for my comic on my new account and of course sketches and personal work to my new account as well.

Hey all,

Whether you support me actively or not, i feel this has been a long time coming that I can no longer avoid and smile through.


I am taking time away from art to hunker down and find some type of job to sustain me. I'm unable to at this point with good conscience continue to make art, do commissions or provide content while back sliding into being completely broke.

I thought by now I'd have more support or time, or be doing what I had hoped to do from the start with my work but that hasn't happened. I have to face reality that the struggle isn't getting better and I can't do this anymore.

This isn't a sign off from art forever, just for now.

I'll still be doing things for myself but for now I am on Haitus until futher notice.

These rule for owning, purchasing trading or otherwise being in possession of a custom Fwon or the creation of a custom Fwon are in effect 2018 and supersede any rules and terms on adoption.
Terms are liable to change or be amended in the future without notice.

1. All adopted Fwons are able to be edited or added to by their owner as long as original art is not edited, altered, cropped or in any way shape or form changed. All original traits and rarities must be maintained, but things like body build minor color or pattern changes in fur or things like that may be edited.

2. in the event of selling an adopt, they cannot exceed the original purchase value of the fwon unless additional art is accompanied with the original adopt art and are then at the sellers discretion. that being said regardless of editing all sales must include original artwork for the adopt.

3. Crediting the creation of fwons or any original fwon adopt artwork created by myself is required upon first post, at minimum my name must be provided and stated in the creation of Fwons as they are currently a closed species and of my own creation

4. A new species chart will be provided and expanded upon as Fwons now feature a unique set of paws and feet as seen in my most recent Halloween fwon adopts. I have tried my best to make them a bit more distinct in an attempt to unify the basic design as expansion of fwon types evolve.

5. Trade of Fwons for a different adopt or species follows the same rules as listed above for selling of Fwon adopts. Original art is required to be provided. However with trades Fwons may be traded for any adopts at the owner discretion whether its cheaper or more expensive than the fwons original price.
Trades of Fwons cannot be made within the first two months of purchase.

6. gifting of Fwons is okay if that is your original intention. Please credit me for the original art and species as well as letting me know who owns the Fwon.

I woke up late last night at around 11. I couldn't sleep so i got to thinking about Fwons.

Since i've sold a handful of them already i didn't want the information i added to their characteristics and such to derail anyone's personal ideas for their new babies too much.

Most of the information here is to explain their culture, breeding, trait rarities and other little explanations for their unique features. If anything is unexplained i'll try and add a Q and A section to the very end to answer and clarify points about them. Each fwon is unique, i wanted them to be an alien race that one could customize in many different ways so that people adopting them didn't have to adhere to really restrictive rules or guild lines to their personalities, abilities, or social behavior. General Information:
Fwon's are a large and diverse colony of aliens, born on a distant hub planet that travel in groups or independently on warp-ships around the galaxy to expand their knowledge of the vast universe.
Their home planet exists mainly as a trade and communication center for goods and new information. It's other purpose is for breeding. Most Fwons begin their lives here and are born almost fully grown. From here they are taught to fly warp-ships and soon begin their journeys to new worlds. Other Fwons choose to spend their lives on the home world or on their warp ships, not interacting with other worlds.

Traits:
Overall Fwon's share a base line of general characteristics. I'll list the most commonly found traits and characteristics here:
-Rounded or blunt ended horns at the top of their heads usually only one pair or two horns total
-Long necks and a Cervine like build (in their feral form)
-They are on average only 4 ft [feral form] or about 5'4" in bipedal form before becoming fully grown.
-2 or 4 eyes are common. Fwons cannot have more than 4 eyes, 3 or 1 eyes are very rare
-Tail length varies and they can have up to two tails. tail shape can be short deer like with long or short fluffy hair or long and giraffe like with long or short and fluffy hair.
-fur it usually short and velvety all over with longer fur around upper thighs.
-they have hooves
-And usually two distinct personalities.

Social:
Fwons with similarities in unique traits tend to live, and travel together.
Their survival instinct is to run and they are very fast creatures. if given the choice/opportunity they will run instead of fight back.
Fwons with 2 pairs of eyes tend to have two very distinct personalities and trains of thought. those with one set of eyes don't have a very distinct difference or tend to not have varied personalities at all. they usually go by one name, while the 4 eyed type sometimes go by two different names.

Food:
Fwons commonly are herbivores but some can be omnivores but never strictly carnivores.

Sex/breeding/gender:
Fwon genital characteristics only present themselves when they have a partner. however breasts, muscle development or larger hips can develop on Fwons regardless of their sexual organs. There is no male or female, and during breeding both partners (if fwons) become pregnant. After fertilization the child goes through two births. Each fwon lays an "egg"[a small goo like sack]. these two eggs are laid together and merge to form a larger more balloon like sack. The fwon then begins developing in this sack until almost fully grown emerging in roughly 7 months.

(breeding with other species) If the partner of the Fwon is male the fwon will carry the child for the full gestation until birth.
if the Fowns partner is female the partner will carry the child the full gestation and birth them

Fwons are only able to become pregnant or impregnate someone when they are in heat.
