Hey all! Time for an update!

So first things first, Monday classes are starting back up, most of them are online classes and I have only a few in class (which I hate, I like live classes more than online ones). The class I'm really excited for is Tai-Chi, been wanting to try that for ages!

Internet is still flaky but is working a lot better than before so I'll definitely be able to start being more active!

Still can't upload anymore of the Chibimas pics, I need to wait until I get those markers. Looks like I'll have to order them *siiigh*


Spring Fever is completely inked! Meaning other than coloring and shading, it's completely finished! Once my Cintiq is back from getting a nasty friggen virus removed then I will be officially finishing it up!

And on that note, I have gotten started on Alpha! I have a great feeling about it and really hope you enjoy it as well ^^ I haven't decided how exactly I want it colored but we shall see soon enough! I am thinking that launch date for this one will be March on the first day of Spring, however this may change!

I am now working on the script for Dissociative! As well as a few facts, I really love working on these Spring comics and random comics because it really does help open up on how their world functions.


As a heads up, I am thinking about opening up some commissions, Chibis mainly! Big reason being that I need to get better at scheduling and I need to make some money. Having a hard time trying to find a job. Also I just want to practice with digital and other techniques and chibis are over all awesome at experimenting with. I want to work out a schedule so I don't get over my head and get delayed again, once I figure that out plus a few other things I will put out an announcement ^^

Hey guys! If you couldn't tell I haven't been responding too much later or uploading a lot. A lot of it is because when I changed apartments I apparently got the crappy part of the internet and it likes to randomly cut off and on =3= it's really really annoying

It could also probably deal with the amount of snow we have out here, could also be what's messing it up so bad. Any way, hopefully it straightens up soon, once it does I'll be quicker getting back to people ^^

I FINALLY got to a scanner yesterday and spent all night working on stuff so I have a LOT to upload today!

First will be more of the Chibimas pics. The ones I was able to get done, it's going to be a while until the others get uploaded since I still don't have those markers yet *will probably have to wait until I get the chance to go to Salt Lake or just order them, we shall see!* (I also may just upload 4 of these today since there is a lot!)

Then will be another "Dissociative"study

Then finally... Satyr Kezhon!!! He will be colored in this one but I will also be uploading a link of the line art if anyone wants to offer any design ideas!

And I'm going to say it now but... I've seriously fallen in love with Satyr Kezhon XD

Ok! First things first,

Happy New Year everyone!

So far it's been a pretty good year, but I'm gonna make this next one even better!

And now...

I am looking for a proof reader!

For my New Year's resolution I want to really dive into my big comic. It's been taking so long because I kind of took the wrong approach to it, and it hurt me in the long run. Also it hurt my progress on my side projects.

So I'm taking it back and just focusing on script rather than trying to do panels at the same time. It worked out just fine for a while but the I hit a lump and it kinked the whole thing up.

That being said, I am looking into getting a few proof readers. Just some people to send it to and have them look through it and critique.

What I'm looking for:

-100% Honest! I want your honest opinion on things! If something doesn't seem right or anything, let me know!

-Somewhat of a decent understanding of grammar and spelling: This one isn't exactly that important to me, I definitely need it because my spelling is awful, it's just something I can easily solve on my own

-Able to handle certain subject matter. This comic is a serious one, and will have heavier themes. If you would like to know them, just send me a note and I'll tell you!


What I need from you now:

I only want about 3-5 proof readers, I have two in mind already, but we shall see! If you are interested, just comment here with:

1. Why are you interested in proof reading for me?
2. Why should I consider you?
3. Have you done something like this before?

Art review 2015!

I saw this in a journal and wanted to do it ^^

1. How has your style evolved throughout 2015? -

I started drifting back towards my traditional style, but digital also has shown a lot of improvement in a considerably short amount of time. Though it still needs some work... I kind of feel like I should refer to this year as the year of the chibis XD as I kind of put a lot of focus on them.

My anatomy has also taken a huge leap, and as strange as it may sound, I think the chibis have a lot to do with that *I'll be making a journal about this later*

2. What areas do you feel you improved in the most in 2015? -

Definitely anatomy, traditional line work, markers *BIG improvement!*, shading, digital still needs work but compared to where I started, I really can't complain!

3. Was there a particular theme/subject you focused on the most? -

This year I feel I started to actually put focus on background and comic work, which I'm proud of! I also feel that my characters as well evolved quite a bit. Especially the big man! I didn't think it possible, being as old as they are, but they has quite a bit of development this year! Oh and chibis... lots and lots of chibis XD

4. About how many submissions did you post to FA in 2015? -

105... man I need to up my game...

5. What other artists would you say inspired you most in 2015? -

They all do some amazing work! I meet 3 out of 4 of them in person and really enjoyed the work I got from them in person!

6. How do you hope to improve your art in 2016? -

I honestly think I'm off to a good start! I want to keep doing more backgrounds, more comics, improve even more on my anatomy, and get a little quicker. I really really want to work more at digital but I feel like I'm just not meant to ink digitally. Oh well, we shall see what happens! I also want to do more with color and shading, some of my weak points I think. I also want to start doing more group stuff... I realized looking through my art that I don't really have many characters together in groups, need to fix that!

7. Which pieces were you most proud of in 2015 and why? -

Hey all!

It's about 4 in the morning so I need to get to bed as soon as I type this out (Sleep schedule = non existent)

Anyway, I was in the mood to draw a Satyr and decided to doodle up Kezhon as a Satyr. I really really like the design so I decided to add it to the list of his alter forms. But I can't really decide how I want his coloring. Either with his normal colors or change it up a little.

I have it all inked out and was thinking maybe having a small fun little coloring contest and let people try some ideas out, or just link the file and just let people try as they please.

What do you think?

Why Alter Forms?:

I give my characters alter forms because sometimes I just feel like trying something different and test out my skills some. Also in some cases to let my freak flag fly, Woo!!

Why not just create some new characters?

Beeecause I have wwaaaaay too many as is. And these alter forms are just things I do on occasion, they don't happen often enough for them to be used and would probably sit around most of the time, and I really really hate having that happen!

What kind of alter forms are there?

Almost everyone has a Mermaid form.

Kezhon has a Zombie form, now a Satyr form and perhaps in the future a centaur form. Maybe!

About the Satyr form:

Kezhon in his Satyr form is pretty much forest dwelling and spends his time caring for plant life. And instead of being insane... he's pretty much a troll *hehehe* he's a very mischievous little cuss, he still isn't all that smart but he is rather cunning (sure he can trick you, but some of his ideas are really really stupid and get him into a lot of trouble). Design wise I think he'll eventually have 3 sets of horns, when he's fully matured, he's at the "young adult" stage yet and only has 2 sets of horns with the third set now coming in.

I'm going to try and see if the computer lab is open tomorrow and try to scan it (plus some other things) and do some uploading. Let me know what you all think!

Hey guys! Just a quick, Merry Christmas to you guys!

Hope you are all having a decent one. I'm going to spend the day making cookies with my gram (Macarons :D) We don't really do much for this Christmas *me and my Gram celebrate our Christmas on January 7th* Grandpa has to work tonight so it's mainly just a relaxing type day.

Boyfriend was over for a little bit, he mainly spent Christmas eve with us, I would have liked if he got to stay longer but my Gramps had to go to sleep and we didn't want to risk the roads later, the weather has been really rough lately, last night was insane!

I tried calling my Mom and them but they were watching tv, I hate talking to them when they are watching TV because they have an awful habit of getting distracted, I called my brother out on it and he says "Well I don't get to watch TV that much" *They don't have tv at their place, they were at my mom's fiance's place* and I told him "Well I don't get to talk to you that often, tv is always going to be there, I could die tomorrow." "Don't be negative!" Uuuugh, I love them but they infuriate me, dear God I kind of see where I get my easy distractibility! Though I don't think I"m that bad... I hope...

Hey all! Sorry I haven't been posting anything, there's probably going to be a bit of a delay on that, and here is why:

1. Moved: I forgot that after midterms I would be switching apartments. I'm already done with that now however it did take a good chunk out of my drawing time

2. Access to scanner: With my colored work I prefer to use the schools scanner, big reason is it's just a little nicer on my colors and doesn't make them too dark. I'm not sure if the computer lab is open or not, I need to check yet but the weather has been awful

3. Marker dry out: This is the biggest and most annoying one! Two of my skin colors I have been using completely ran out and what makes it worse is that they are the two skin colors that are the hardest to find! I would either have to check in Salt Lake (which we only do so often since it's a long drive) or order them online. I am skeptical of online because it may be pricier, not sure, have to look yet.

But yeah, that's why not too much has been uploaded yet. A lot of them are done, good bit colored, the rest are kind of stuck being just inked for now until I can get those markers.

On the plus side though, I have been getting a lot done comic wise! Spring Fever is very close to being done! Then I can move on to starting Alpha, and of course, working on script and info for Dissociative

Second journal of the day woohoo!!! *Bet you can just tell how into this exam I am*

Alrighty! So the news today iiisss... This Spring I will be launching another comic short "Alpha"! Where we will get to see Kezhon's more... authoritative aggressive side. With some +18 stuff of course :P I really want to start having some seasonal comic stuff so I'm trying to get into the habit of it!


About "Alpha":

As I said it's going to show the other unseen side of Kezhon as well as explore the customs of his world and the "Spring Festival"
O'neice will be kind of our little narrator as she and Kezhon attend this festival
It will have sex, nudity, violence and some blood

Before this comic is launched I hope to have the alpha study worked out so everyone can see what makes someone and alpha, what their role is in this world and how they function. It's going to be discussed in the comic as well but if I try and get to everything it's going to be very long and may be tedious

The comic will be out in April! And work on it will be started... well... now, hehe, during winter break I hope to get script and layouts out so I can just get right into it

Spring Fever:

This will be finished! It's getting closer to being completed, once it is I'll try uploading one page a day.

Dissociative:

Still scripting, finally got over the one block I had *this one part kind of through me off the grove but I finally smoothed it out!*

Hey guys!

So I finally got my sai fixed, and for the most part got Manga studio worked out, and something I want to put for my New Years resolution is to really improve on my digital work. Traditional is going really well and I feel pretty proud of how it's going, but when it comes to digital I just don't feel happy with where I'm at. I can watch a stream and see them whip out a picture in like nothing flat. I would LOVE to get to that point! Do effects, organic lines that are not stiff or rigid, sketch down a pose in 5 seconds in work from that. Pretty much I want to get my digital to where my traditional is, maybe even better!

So, give me a hand! Throw some tutorials my way, share a few tips or tricks, anything really ^^

Hey hey guys!

First, so sorry I kind of disappeared for a bit there. Nearing finals and got really really busy, plus have been sick and am getting paranoid about something that I'm not going to get into at the moment until I know for sure what um... is happening .3.

Anyway, for fun I decided that I wanted to do a 30 (or 31 day) challenge for Christmas/winter. I thought it would be really adorable to do it all with chibs ^^ (chibs are just so relaxing and I can experiment more with them because they are rather simple) I will be uploading about 3 of them today! Really hope you guys enjoy them, they will be in fact rather different as I'm trying out different things, you'll see.

Once things settle back down and winter vacation hits I am also thinking about opening up some chibi slots. I don't want to do too many detailed things at the moment that isn't my work (and also the one commission) so I'll probably throw something up shortly ^^

With winter break on it's way I will be more active, I promise!!! D:

Hey all! So most of you may know that I do have a big comic I am working on. I did actually upload some pages here and there... then re-uploading those pages...

I apologize greatly for that, this comic is my baby and I want to put my all into it! I finally got to a point where I feel very very happy about it. I changed some things around, for example, Kezhon is now Schizophrenic and just believes that he has DID *this will be covered in my reference sketch book, more on that shortly*. And I found an art style that I think better suits it.

I'm going to be taking a lot more time on this, doing proper research (I did before as well but I mean like, going to the police station and asking what they would do in certain situations), talk to people and get critiques. At the moment my main focus is the story-boarding, I'm going to try and complete that to the very end before I do any work on the story itself. Though if I get an art block and I've gotten enough critique and fixed up a section of a story and I feel comfortable with it, I'll start working on inking.

I'm also going to start experimenting with a stylized style, as I really think that doing the scenes where Kezhon is having a delusional break down in a stylized look will really turn out amazing!

Another thing I plan to do is once I get this job *it seems likely!* I'm going to save up some money to commission people for chapter covers/buffers

When can you expect it to be officially uploaded?

Well once I get it completed, colored, and shaded I will have a planned upload schedule. Right now there is no date set. It's all in the 3rd draft stage. But I will upload some specials, studies, character designs and more!

I am really hoping to start uploading more work regarding this comic.

I am very very sorry with what happened with that. I am in fact still working on that. In a week or two I will be house sitting for my grandparents for a few days which means, no distractions! Honestly the problem is the fact that I'm pretty certain I have adult ADHD or something, I sit down to work and my mind is everywhere but where it needs to be. ...Also I may be an internet addict, which I'm trying to coax myself out of.

I have a planner and a calendar, I'm going to start making a schedule for myself to help keep myself on track and hopefully speed things up!

Hey guys! Cleaning my room at the moment and wanted to take a quick moment to ask:

What do you all think of the new chibi style?

I know I kind of bounce around a lot with chibi styles, just really wanna find one that works! Personally I'm really liking this one!

The one thing I'm concerned that might through people off is the big hands and feet, I find them adorable but it may turn people off, if so I could always have an option to make them normal... hmm...

Welp, I'm back to cleaning! I'll be working more on finishing up Spring Fever, Answer draws, the suggestions journal, and responding to people ^^

I really am just in the mood to draw, and what's funny is, that's why I'm so behind on things XD I get so eager to draw I kind of have been jumping around.

Hey all, so I'm still trying to open for commissions but I'm having trouble pricing stuff. How do you guys decide what is fair and all?

So far what I have been working out is: Amount of work and time put into it, what supplies I'm using, and what quality I feel my work is.

What suggestions can you guys give me? What do you feel is too high?

I have traditional chibis worked out. But everything else I'm still working out.

One more question is: Digital work will be offered, however I just don't feel it's up to the same standards as my traditional work, it's close but not quite, and I just prefer to work traditionally. Should I charge more or less for digital stuff?

Hey guys! Gonna make this quick cause I need to get to bed, so here we go!

So, if you haven't noticed I didn't upload Spring Fever v3v The page is done, just need to finish coloring. Why is it taking me so long? ... I'll be honest

1. Autumn book: I got a book for a bunch of Fall and halloween pictures and I've just been having too much fun with it! I got a good bunch of those done so I will be uploading them ^^

Hey hey all! So first things first... I just moved into my new school apartment today! Wooo!

Funny sims 4 story:

I just HAAAAD to tell everyone this one XD

Ok so, I play my characters on the sims. Right now I only have Kezhon and O'neice on sims 4. Right now I'm just letting them live their lives before I have them have their boys, cause right now I'm waiting on more from sims 4. Right now my opinion on sims 4 is: it's getting better, but still has a way to go yet.

Now even though sims 4 is lacking some stuff... it still never stops sim-Kezhon... he has always and always will be, my most entertaining sim XD

The other day I was playing them, I had them out at a spa until really early in the morning, so instead of having them have breakfast I just sent them straight to bed. When they woke up they just had some leftovers. O'neice had and omelet and Kezhon had a brownie.

The brownie wasn't really filling so I had him go and get some milk. He took out his milk, took a sip, then proceeded to head to the bathroom where O'neice was.

My first response: "Oh come on! Leave her alone! She's trying to use that!" Because he has an awful habit of chasing her around while she's busy to try and hug her. But instead... he stripped naked, drew a bathe and got in with his glass of milk... he took a sip: "...Huh..." then got back out.

Me: omo "...the hell were you doing?! See if it tasted the same in the bath?!"

XD I dunno, it's always entertaining when he's around!

Hey hey all! I am back! Well... I've been back since like, 3 am on the 17th but a mix of tired and moving kinda made me slack off on the update a little bit... Aaanywhooo

I am in fact back! And currently in the process of moving to my new college apartment! School will be starting on the 31st and I must say I am excited! Everyone there is super nice and helpful, my room is all levels of comfortable, I do have two roommates but thank GOD we all have our own bedrooms!

I'll get into how my vacation went later, I got the case of the lazies at the moment so I'll just do an update on some upcoming stuff!


Spring Fever:

It's back on! Uploading will officially commence this Sunday!



Halloween:

I'm super excited to announce but, Zombie Kezhon will be back and better than ever! He's getting redesigned and will be back to ripping out guts in no time! Also there will Halloween/Fall art! WOOO! I can't tell you how much I ADORE Fall and Halloween! The last couple years, or year? Where too lack luster for my liking so I'm going make up for that! One of the ways being a special series I call "Horrors From Around the World!" A full sketch book dedicated to my babes being redesigned as monsters and urban legends from around the world! I'm super excited for it and I hope you will be too!



Commissions:

I'm opening back up! I am still deciding what I'm going to offer, what I think I can handle with my new upcoming schedule as well as pricing. But I will unleash and announcement when I am ready!

Which leads me to ask you all this: What would you like to see offered?
