Meet new peeps, hang out with my roommates a shit ton, and maybe catch a few fun con events! Maybe even find an elusive fur who also has a Vita and Soul Sacrifice Delta to smash up some monsters with :D

I've always been a dog person, and wolf just seemed to be the canine that felt right at the time. I've never felt a reason to change since then, so I've just stuck with it.

Is your fursona just like you, or how you want to be?
Zak is pretty much just me, covered in fur, and a good bit thinner.

Does your fursona have the same personality you have?
Personality wise he's identical, apart from being a little less reserved sometimes.

Yep.

If you can really draw a resemblance between a cartoon wolf and a human, and then shave off a few pounds.

Nope. I don't even have other characters. I've just never felt the need, since Zak can pretty much take on any sort of changes I might want to indulge in. It's pretty easy to excuse such things within the context of an RP.

I do. It has absolutely nothing to do with my own though, since it's all sci fi loopiness.

Is there something special about your fursona that you think sets them apart from others?
Well I don't see a lot of wolves running around with snake tongues and eyes. I also find it to be quite a point of pride since it isn't as if I just gave him those on a whim, but developed them through story driven RP. Makes them feel more unique in my opinion.

A fair amount I'd say. I'm certainly not as quick to throw money around on art as some people I know.

Would you ever consider parting with your main fursona, if so why?
Never as of now. I can honestly see no reason I ever would.

Maybe one day, but I'd want to slim down some simply to make it look a lot better on me.

Well yeah, obviously you all know AC is over by now from the absolute flood of post-AC journals you're likely all getting. I know I am.

It was a wonderful first con, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better start to my delving into the more involved parts of the fandom IRL. I had a blast, saw all/most of the con events I wanted to see, and made a few cool new friends along with meeting a couple old ones I've only ever known online which was very nice.

I am definitely looking to go to more cons after finally finding out how much fun they are, so if you are planning on going to Fur Fright you will probably see me there!

Literally on the road halfway to The Pitt now. To any and all who read this and are going, feel free to comment here to set up any sort of meet up if you want. Wuff is more than happy to finally meet some of you crazies :P

Almost definitely going to AC this year, and it's about damn time.

This is to all my friends whom I may have neglected over the past year. To all the people who may have wanted to be friends who I never got back to, or never responded to. To anyone who ever cared about me who might feel like I just plain didn't care back.

I'm sorry.

Last year was... a very strange, long, and arduous year for me. I realize now, looking back on it with the fresh open eyes of a new year, that I let things get the better of me. I let my job, despite how important it is, take over things a little too much. I let it wear me out on a daily basis and let it cause me to ignore so many things I had cherished before. I only now see this as it would seem that with the changing of the year, my mind has once again become my own.

I could easily go on for a while explaining how strange this change is, but how welcome it is as well, but I'm sure you all have better things to do. I just want to thank the few of you who might read this, and the few of you who have stuck by me despite all this. I truly hope I can make things right to the best of my ability and hopefully make them even better than before.

So I'm not usually one for bothering with journals, considering I doubt anyone ever reads them, but on the off chance someone does I felt this necessary.

Play. Dead Island. NOW.

I shit you not, regardless of all the bugs people bitch about, and the mix up with the release (which was promptly fixed) it is likely to be up in the running for my personal favorite games of all time.

I'd say it's my Game of the Year, but the poor bastards have to contend with Skyrim come November and well... that's a fucking tough customer guaranteed.

Anyway, back to brains. This game is absolutely incredible, and if you have a machine that can handle it for PC, i recommend doing so because nothing beats a good keyboard and mouse for bashing zombie heads in.

The multiplayer is akin to Borderlands meets Left 4 Dead in probably some of the most fun free-roaming zombie-smashing fun I've ever played. The simple notion of having someone or someones watching your back and covering you completely changes the game and makes it a whole new monster, one with some seriously addictive gameplay. (I've already logged well over a full 24 hours into it, and not even progressed all that far with the main story line, simply because of how much fun just fucking around can be.)

Singleplayer however is a whole other story. Most people will bitch and whine that it's not worth playing outside of co-op and that's complete bullshit. Those people are just panty-pissing insecure wastes who can't handle an undead whore without people at their flanks. You step into this game by yourself when you're at a decent level and you'll get a fuckin run for your money trying to take on groups of zombies, or just a few of the tougher ones. When before you'd joyfully prance around bonking the flesh-hungry beasts on the head with a bat, you'll now backpedal in a panic trying to fend them off your loins.

The contrast clearly visible between just these two modes has absolutely amazed me, and it has succeeded in a way even Borderlands didn't (That game truly was only worth playing in co-op.) So yeah, fucking play it! You won't regret it so long as you actually like zombies!


[Just for clarification, the title for this journal is my textual interpretation of the cries of one of the large "Thug" zombies from the game. That god damn sound has been stuck in the back of my mind ever since I heard it. x-x ]

So yeah, i don't know if anyone will even read this or not. I know watching my page isn't the most eventful of things but shoot, I've tried everything else so why not try talking to the masses?

Lately life has just been overwhelmingly stressful, today being one of the worst i've had in a while. I won't bore you all with the specifics for i dont wish you insult the people i know who are out there having a worse time than me. If you're really curious though ask and i'll tell.

Anyway the real thing i wanted to do here is ask you all who bother to read this something. How do you handle life when it just seems to take a giant shit on everything you try to do? Where do you turn when your usual options for making yourself feel better fall through?

I can't say enough how much I appreciate anyone's input on this.
