So last Thursday there was a lightning storm and one bolt struck a tree right in the middle of my backyard. I suppose my house has really a shit electrical installation, so basically my pc exploded and a lot of the important things in it don't work anymore.

I ordered a new power supply and had to wait a week for it to get here, and I'm now in the process of trying to figure out what else works. It appears the graphics card and my monitors don't work so far. Thankfully one small monitor and my tablet still work.

If I owe you a commission, I'm truly sorry about delays caused by this issue already, but I'll try to make do with what I have right now. Even though I might have to send the pc in to get checked by someone with more knowledge than me.

I also got some feedback that I might implement in future adoptables. In order to make the bidding more accessible to more people I may make the initial starting bid lower, and only add alternate versions and full rendering as price milestones are met during bidding.

Happy New Year, everyone!

First off, thank you all for the amazing support you've all shown about this situation! Thanks to the donations of a few extremely kind people things are looking to be resolved in a much quicker fashion than I ever could have expected!

I'm having the breaker box and the weatherhead and conduits to the service drop from the powerline replaced in the next few days. Thankfully the wiring inside the house doesn't seem anywhere near as damaged as I thought it would be, although I will have to section off and replace some of them as I'm able to, which frankly should have already been a thing. I also had my fridge checked out and it's now working fine again.

Again, thank you all so much for both the support and the concern. It means a hell of a lot to me!

I might be screwed for the foreseeable future. Due to a power surge or short of some kind, most of my home's electrical installation is now useless or disabled. So I may be in for some uncomfortable times.
I don't yet know the extent of the damages, but I'm assuming I'll have to replace a lot of wiring and possibly even my fridge. ugh.

I really don't want to do this, but I might need to reopen some commission slots.

I'm closing commissions indefinitely, I'm going through severe art block at the moment and I need to get through it and definitely get through all the backlog I still owe for a very long time now. I honestly appreciate everyone's patience on this matter, I know it seems like a terribly unprofessional thing on my part to take so damn long to get these done. And for that I truly apologize.

Not to spin a sob story, because I know everyone has their problems, but the trouble is I've been really struggling these past few years with stress and depression which only got heightened to new levels as all this covid stuff keeps happening and several people in my immediate family and community passing away due to it. I'm definitely trying my best to keep a level mind through all this but it pretty much just results in me getting art block for long periods of time. I will get through it though, last year I managed to get a lot done, which really lifted my mood towards the end of the year so I hope to be able to get back on that mindset sooner rather than later.

I know I'm not very talkative online nor do I give any updates regularly on here. But if any of you would like to keep in touch about your commission progress or anything else you can always contact me directly here through notes or through my Discord server where I'm on pretty much every day.
