These are already a huge problem in the gaming community.
Is FA actively allowing fraudulent gold sellers to advertise their disgusting business here? Cause if this was permitted and passed through some kinda QC and still was greenlit to be posted? I'm not gonna be using FA much anymore. If you guys allow Gold sellers to advertise their shit on here, what else are you allowing?

And I have no clue what all the hate's about. It's like these people watched the first episode and then harshly judged the remaining episodes as collective dog shit. Sure, the first episode was a bit awkward, but literally Episode 2 onwards was absolutely phenominal! The writing is superb, the acting, especially from Ian Ousley as Sokka, was absolutely incredible. I have no idea what the fan outrage is about? It was amazingly well done, written, and executed.

I expect it's just people who didn't watch it till the end, or decided they wanted to be angry in 2024 as well, so they jumped on the hate train for no other reason than they get to bitch and whine and complain about something that did nothing wrong whatsoever.

I for one, as a die-hard Last Airbender/Legend of Korra fan? Am extremely pleasantly surprised, and whole-heartedly recommend those who havn't watched it due to the defamation crying, to not listen to the bullshit hate this show's getting, and just sit down and watch it. It's actually a terrific show!

This is extremely important as it affects your income as a US based freelance artist or content creator directly.
Originally, the threshold for form-1099K was $20,000. If you earned less than that, you did not have to file it with the IRS. That threshold is now being lowered to a staggering $600! This means essentially that even the smallest of content creators will have to file this form for 2022.

What this essentially means, is that if you're a United States based artist earning more than $600 in a year from third-party transactions(I.E Paypal), then you're gonna be paying more in annual income tax. If you're having trouble making ends meet as it is, it's time to raise your prices if this is your sole source of income.
This includes all manner of third party transactions, including if you sell a couch at a profit, but not if you sell it at a loss. (Sell a couch worth $300 for $400? You gotta include it in your 1099K. Sell it for $200? You do not have to include it.)

This is gonna pose a lot of problems for a lot of artists nationwide. I'm so sorry the IRS is doing this to you, but if you think 2021 was an expensive tax year? '22 is gonna be worse. :(

Way back in 2014,  aimi released the Lyrian species. Her second species ever. I was one of the first to commission one, and since then, Vaxis(and subsequently Vaxi) has become the most active Lyrian character in existence! \o/ WOOO!
But Aimi recently proposed an even greater honor. Luckily I was fast enough to secure a joint ownership of the species!
That's right ladies and gents! I now co-own the species my primary, beloved Vaxi belongs to, alongside the original artist I first designed him/her with! :D After all these years, it's happened! Documents are signed and everything. I now hold as much copyright ownership as she does, and it feels great! ^^

On top of that, I recently sold my Doe character(Discord channel exclusive opportunity btw), and have a spot in my roster I now intend to fill with someone truly unexpected! I'm gonna pursue becoming an artist.
Now, other than commissioning art and giving constructive criticism when requested for the past 13 or so years, I've little to no experience actually drawing. It might take me weeks, it might take me years, but I enjoy art too much to endlessly pay for it. I wish to create my own ideas as well, from scratch, with no in-between influence from pre-determined preferences from artists. I still love to commission art, I doubt I'll ever truly stop doing that, but for when I have ideas that would be too expensive or too specific for a paid commission, I wish to be able to create it myself.

As well as take commissions when I feel like giving something to the community of course!

Regardless, I bought myself a tablet, got SAI installed on my PC, and collecting resources etc. from both books I could find on the subject in my wife's bookshelf, as well as the internet, obviously. Wish me luck, hope you'll support me, cause everyone's telling me I've embarked on a rewarding, but ultimately very challenging path.

Up-front disclaimer. When I say sexuality here, I don't mean full blown nudity or porn, but just the allure and body language of it. This is not a question of porn, or even nudity. Lola was never nude or in any sort of pornographic situation in canon, but she was sultry, elegant and wasn't afraid to hide her curves.

So let me be real with you guys... Lola bunny didn't *make* me a furry. I didn't look at her and go "OMG THAT'S HOT. I'M INTO THAT NOW". Very few people did this, as I'm 31 years old now. I was 6 years old when that movie came out guys. Six. I had no business even contemplating sex at all, and I didn't. By the time I did? The movie was over 5 years old and long since lightyears from my mind. All these people claiming LOLA BUNNY MADE ME A FURRY nonsense are either over 39 years old, or are blatantly lying and never actually saw the damned movie until *after* they were a furry. There are most certainly exceptions to this, but in the sheer numbers coming out of the woodwork over this? Absolutely not. Too few people in the appropriate age group to support it.

With that out of the way...I can safely say that Lola Bunny heavily influenced me into becoming a furry later in life; she removed the controversial idea of a 'sexualized animal'. It gave rise to a connection in my brain allowing me in my teenage years to put a pleasant visual to a wholly controversial idea. Lola Bunny, alongside Renamon did this. They didn't make me a furry. They set me up to be more open minded about it later on. They literally made me a more open minded and understanding person.

So... with that out of the way, I'd like to open the whole 'family friendly' nonsense, with a line from the creator of this new and so- called 'improved' Lola design:

Director Malcolm D. Lee told Entertainment Weekly that he wanted to make Lola a more fully realized character in the sequel, working to center her athletic skills and leadership.

"Lola was very sexualized, like Betty Boop mixed with Jessica Rabbit," he told Entertainment Weekly. "Lola was not politically correct…. This is a kids' movie, why is she in a crop top? It just felt unnecessary, but at the same time there's a long history of that in cartoons."

This is literally text book cancel culture people. A director forcibly changing an established, sultry character, with no business to do so, to fit the delicate, overly pampered feelings of SJWs, extremist feminists, and late Gen Z crybabies. Like Gabriel Iglesias said very pointedly in one of his stand up comedy shows: "Then you're not ready for a world that doesn't care about your feelings". Taking your delicate constitution and forcing the world to abide by you, rather than learning to abide by it, is going to make the world weaker, more squeamish. More dependant on censorship to avoid a full-blown SJW meltdown.

This villifying of sexuality and the obsessive compulsive need to purge it from media of every kind, no matter the shape of form it takes, is what is unnecessary. I was born and raised in an age where much fewer limits were put on TV and other media. Sexuality was not as censored cause sexuality is beautiful, its natural. Its what some would call a corner stone in one of the reasons we exist; reproduction.

I believe the openness of subtle sexual hints from my early years has directly assisted in helping me become a more understanding and socially accepting person. My daughter is 11. If she came to me and said she's a lesbian in a few years, I would do nothing but support her with every fibre of my being.

This misguided need to annihilate sexuality is nothing more than a cultural step in the wrong direction. To make sexuality a sin again, a taboo that shouldn't be spoken of or displayed publicly. Something to be ashamed of, and kept secret.
When is it censored enough then? Hmm? When we go back to the time when 14 year olds will hide in the barn with a coal drawing their friend did of their female teacher showing a fucking ankle? Will that be good enough, or would you blame the kids behavior on sexual content on TV for that one too? Sex isn't what's disgusting. Your gaslighting a non existent issue is what's disgusting. Sexuality will always be a part of who we are. We enjoy it. It catches our eye when we see it. You can try and censor it, bury it, call it offensive towards women, and men too for that matter! But when you boil all of this down? This is the ranting and crying of illogical nitwits who, frankly, don't realize that honoring and proudly displaying a well-cared for, gorgeous body, is not what's offensive. What's offensive is to bury it, make it something to hide away, make it unacceptable to proudly show off what all those gym hours and proper diet and planned work outs did for your body and overall health. The real crime is making sexuality unacceptable, when it has and always will be, acceptable and beautiful.

As long as you don't hurt yourself, or even more importantly, anybody else? Then there is nothing wrong with sexuality. Why censor it? Let the female body be a work of art, not a fucking black market commodity.

If you think about it, life and death is nearly synonymous with one-another. The only thing throwing a veil over the only constant in the universe; the act of not being aware of oneself, is some oxygen rich cellular based fluid which is circulated around a biological vessel which consists mostly of water, by an instinctually powered muscle. The moment this repetitive process deteriorates enough until ceasure, your comprehension of anything ceases with it. You will have more in common with the dirt you're buried in, than the multicellular organisms mourning the passing of your consciousness and the experiences and brain chemistry balance which defined said consciousness. At least until they, too, ceases all animate and electrical activity. Which everything consciously aware of itself eventually will, without fail. The only truly acceptable consequence of life and its fickle nature of blessings and curses, fortune and famine, is that no matter who you are, what you do, where you are, and why you're here? You will cease to exist. No amount of political power, accumulation of monetary or materialistic wealth, or post-mortem memorabilia nicknamed 'legacies', will change that. This is the only thing making the concept of death, almost soothing; that everything and everyone considered 'alive' will experience it at some point. The one truly inescapable result of every life form.
