Hey all, just a lil message to say that Proteus isn't really my fursona anymore, I've put so much lore and backstory into him and the species that he fits much less of a 'sona than he is just a character. I still identify with him at times, but only by the name.

Since I created Phoebe the INCUBUS back in JUNE, I've been incredibly attached to that identity, his lack of lore and backstory allows me to .. resonate better with him, I suppose :3 Also allows me to do whatever the fuck I want with him without worrying much about character development and conflicting story elements. The fact that he's a demon/incubus was mostly an aesthetic choice, though! He has a couple little powers to come along with being such, too~
Pandora would basically just be the female version of Phoebe, even though they can technically be either sex

I've certainly enjoyed having Proteus as my 'sona for the past like 8 years, but there ain't nothing wrong with a change, right?
I'd planned on doing this previously, with Eos, but she never really clicked like other attempts have.

I'm bored waiting for planes to get back to Australia, ask any of my chars a question - some may not answer though :p

Zakretians are free reign, go ahead and make one if you want.
I'm going to do a 'list' for 'authentic' zakretian characters, if you're interested in being part of it.

Here's the list

Just some guidelines, though, you don't have to follow them but I'd appreciate it if ya did!:
- Usually black/dark coloured sclera (the eye white)
- No pupils, just a single solid colour iris - usually glowing or something
- Skin colour usually pale or grey'ish, as you can tell with basically all my chars
--- Markings on the body are generally minimal, and markings like on Eleos are generally rare as well
- Flesh is dark purple, while blood is light purple like here
- Horns usually only above the eyes (so none on their actual face)
--- Hornless zakretians are a rare occurrence
- Females have longer, fatter antennae and longer tails - no boobs, either.
- Hair usually doesn't flow over to the front of the head, because of the horn on the head.
- Naming convention is usually like "Nyla-Fa" given and tribe name sorta deal.
--- This mainly applies for "before extinction" zakretians, so from hundreds of years ago rather than present day.
--- Present day/AE zakretian names are often named after mythological deities and creatures
- Always digitigrade
- No teeth, except for a couple fangs
- No real rules for tribal markings

Modern zakretian information:
The modern day zakretian is still rather primitive, both their society and technology. While they do have access to technology, they have very little understanding of what makes it work - and so, a lot of the newest generation of zakretians show interest in learning science and technology, attempting to reverse engineer and so on. (they are learning... slowly!)
While the many differing tribes tend to keep to themselves, they are improving on inter-tribal relations (with some exceptions), and are mostly friendly or neutral towards each other. Feuding tribes are still around, and the use of tribal markings are mostly preserved for war paint or formal social gatherings/events (such as inter-tribal relations and ceremonies)

A base is not available, not sure if I want to yet!
