I'm going to be out of the country for a couple weeks starting on the 4th, so there will be a delay. I will still have a small tablet PC with me, so those who are still waiting on sketches for approval will still likely be contacted with the rough pass of their commission, however there will be a delay on the finished product as I'm not entirely confident using this tablet for line art yet. Regular work will resume once I return home again on the 22nd.

Where have I been for the last 6 months?
Hello everyone. I’m sincerely sorry for having been nearly completely unproductive for the majority of the year. I’d taken pride in a regular online presence, and sharing what I love with people who love it as well, both on my galleries and on Patreon.
However, this year has been unkind, to say the least, and through a combination of burnout, break-off, major depressive cycles, a mild case of covid, and my Mom’s steep health decline and eventual passing in mid November from cancer, it has been mentally impossible to get any form of creative work done for myself, much less an audience.

Right now, though, I have been trying to take my mental health more seriously, working with a psychologist to measure my response to antidepressants while trying to figure why my months can be such emotional boons or busts, as well as grief therapy.
To be frank, it’s a LOT of figurative rubble to pull myself from. I wasn’t doing well before, and trying to get back to a bare minimum is a challenge on its own after so many months of falling into self protective bad habits just to get through the day.
There’ve been some small victories, at least; having the self confidence to at least apply to a few studios again, trying to meet/date new people, keeping regular personal journals, taking medication on time trying to exercise regularly again. Trying to be more social, as well, and finally FINALLY put some hard thought into my own identity and self representation.
Generally trying to have hope again.

The hardest challenge is getting back to the point where I can follow schedules and routines out of obligation rather than out of convenience. That’s been a challenge for years, but I think that that’s my ultimate goal, at least in a professional sense.
There’s so many general things that I’ve yet to get done to advance my life, and all of the hardship and grief has really put a lot of it into perspective; it doesn't matter how hard you hope, if you don't do it now it won't get done. Ever.

So, I’m going to be opening a few YCH commission slots in the coming week to try to get myself back in gear. More on that a bit later.

I will be making some changes to the reward tiers to more consistently reward Patrons, while adjusting rewards that I’ve been having trouble delivering on (I.E. ‘Streaming”). Some of the middle tiers, namely $3 and $5 tiers have been feeling rather barren on their own, so instead I will be combining them; shifting the better parts of those two into a new $4 tier while moving some of the lesser $3 rewards down to the $2 tier. I hope for this to strike a middle ground of having the old $5 patrons feel more rewarded for their pledge for less, while also offering potentially more for the $3 patrons, while also not having them feeling punished should they choose to move to the $2 instead.

I will CREATING this new $4 Tier right away to give people a chance to change their pledge ahead of time, and intend to roll out these changes in full next week Saturday May 12th, before the first page of the month is released so people have ample chance to change their pledge.

Please let me know about any of your thoughts of concerns with this, and I will take them into consideration.

Additionally, I’ve been considering a Discord channel as a potential reward tier and delivery method of rewards and notices of streams, I’m just not sure I have the means to properly manage it. I would love y’all’s input on this matter as well.

I've been having trouble with fake Patreon accounts, to the point where I've been automatically blocking accounts that use a full name, only support ME, and have been made in the same month they pledged.

Past few weeks have been rough. Im still working on commissions and Comics, but I suspect my glasses prescription has changed, and has been causing me some problems and significantly slowing my work.

Ill be checking with my doc and an optometrist to try and get that corrected. That said, I should have Page 3 Souls in Digital finished tomorrow, and will be streaming some work on it.

So here's the skinny; the past week has been rough. More anxious than Ive ever been, culminating in terrible habits to try and cope while my brain betrays me and tries to find something about my body to be terrified about. Like, to the levels of being afraid to go outside in case I have a panicattack/heartattack/stroke (yes, I know this isnt rational). Im really trying to get back to the point where my body isnt at a permanent "Caution!" Status, so I can do things like work, play videogames, or enjoy being outside. Generally to not fear death at the raising of my heartbeat.

So yeah, I still owe 3 people roughs for pending commissions, and 2 patrons sketches from August. There's a lot to juggle right now, and I will get something to show as soon as I can.

EDIT: Last night and this morning finally eased up on the dread. Ill be talking with doc today, but im optimistic that shake this miasma from here.

So the last couple days my left arm has been aching/tingling based on the angle of my neck, which is also painful at certain angles.Went to doc, got some drugs, and will go back in a week if it persists.
I'd really really wanted to have July's commissions done by the end of the month, but being in pain sorta puts a hard-pause on things, as its hard to be creative and not hurt at the same time.

Hopefully it'll work itself out in a few days.

Hello everyone! It's me; that bird that no one's heard from in a bit! I'm here to announce two things;

Thing the first, I, after MONTHS of deliberation, I've finally gotten around to working on setting up a Patreon. Now, this isn't some run-of-the-mill art Patreon, no sir! I'm making COMICS! Comics that I want everyone to be able to participate in, and ultimately share the NUMEROUS short story ideas that I've built up in my head over the past years for you all to enjoy. I'm still hammering out the details, but my goal is to keep the prices low and on a Per-Page basis, as to keep things focused on COMICS, rather than a general art Patreon. One of my first Milestone goals is to LOWER the prices, so that I can make more pages a month and not break anyone's bank!

This happens every so often; I'll get discouraged, in my own head, everything will feel impossible and daunting. There will be a few works leftover that I hadnt finished, and I wont post anything because Ill feel like If I do it'll be a betrayal to people whom I havent finished yet.

Well, Im posting a butt load of sketches from nearly 2 months ago, and get the rest of them finished so I wont keep hanging them over my own head.
