This is "The Alpha", in which continues the adventures of Scooby Doo and company: Mystery Inc, but with a twist.

To see the twist, you need to read the story.

But now here is the challenge:

Writers, writers, everywhere... this story will serve as a pilot story for a private series of ours. I call forth comic artists and authors of all sorts to make followup episodes. Here are the rules:

Cannon for this story line before my story follows: "Scooby Doo! Mystery Inc." the most recent release of Scooby Doo. After my story, the sky's the limit. Just note that the dork in a mask is what the team as kids used to deal with. Now, they're hunting real cryptids.

They receive notes from Justin Parker on cryptids to help or to help out in one way or another. Velma hides her "Condition" as well as possible. In other words, to the first few writers... don't give away the secret to the team other than to Scooby himself.

Story archs come as a first come first serve basis. When you have completed a story, make a note in this thread. Your "Episode" happens next in the line of episodes.

Finally, and this is important, cause none of us wanna get sued, all of this needs to fall under fan fiction. What that means is that you cannot sell these works for any reason. But.. if... for whatever reasons, that Universal wants to approach any one of us to buy these works, it is the responsibility of that person to let them know about all of us.

I am available for consultation via Deviant Art if you want it for clarifications on the story.

Consider this a challenge to give you experience on assembling your own teams of editors and reviewers if you haven't already done so, or if you're more of a professional, use your existing teams.

<5 -Anti-Sue
Your character may be a bit on the boring side. Of course, this does depend, but generally if they are scoring that low, it wouldn't hurt to 'spice them up' a bit ^^

6-15 -Balanced Character
If your OC scored around here, then they are probably quite a well-balanced and interesting character. Those scoring in the higher end of this category may be a bit too much though.

16-25 -Borderline Mary-Sue
We have a problem. You need to tone your character down. They are most likely a bit annoying to others, too.

Oh dear. Do I really need to comment on this?

Maybe the high-end of Balanced, but that's good enough.

I see there are those of you who are in here who have both furafinity AND Deviant art. I was wondering... which do you really pay attention to? Which do you prefer more and why? If so maybe I'll offload here too and see how many people go insane with the favorites :D
