Tides and Sunsets
Posted 2 years agoAlrighty folks, I missed a week for my posting due to fowl weather and occasional power problems.
Its hit the cold part of the season for us and cold makes me just want to cuddle under the covers and sleep the season away.
Anyway, being productive around this time of the year is always a challenge for me. Good news though, next video after this one should be another muddy adventure for all you mud seekers out there. Videos from a season or two ago!
Anyway, here's the latest video:
A few videos with natural sights and sounds from this beautiful part of the world I live in. The prime focus points of this video are around Bellingham Bay, and the northern puget sound area of Skagit and Whatcom County.
Sit back, relax and enjoy

Once a week-ish
Posted 2 years agoI've got a goal of a video a week.
Mostly it will be videos of my photographic journeys, and from time to time it will be a muddy adventure or story around a muddy theme.
I never intend to be a talking head fursuit video creator, I'm an explorer, some-fur that likes to see and show others the wilds of the PNW.
So, besides that intro video, I have my video for the week:
https://youtu.be/ITYXuGaD2FM?si=YYjTUc4Sf-rUHNXG
Puddle of Sky:Mountains
Have fun!

Posted 2 years agoAs ya'all know I tend to like taking pictures, well let me show ya a little youtube video. This isn't my work, not me in the slightest, but they clearly also enjoy my favorite places to take pictures. (excluding the swamps) but they highlight a place near where I live here in Washington State.

Day After Halloween USA
Posted 2 years agoOk, Its the Day after Halloween in the USA, that means its...
Buy all your cosplay supplies at 50% off day at all the Spirit Halloween Stores
Cosplay plans throughout the year, fursuiting, ya want to be this, or that. This is a great day for experimentation. Buy a cheer skirt, some tights, a leotard, or set up your yearly binge on cheap tule can't get a cheeper outfit for mudding, some costume or another, corset, yeah they got em. (its all cheap crap) but its cheap crap that won't cost a fortune and gets you in the door to try something new, maybe kinky, maybe clean. Oooh, I can try this for some good slime outfit, yeah totally.
Many a great outfit has started out as just an experiment born of cheap halloween cosplay stuff. Anything you want to be what you couldn't afford for Halloween, its cheap today at these stores.
No this isn't an official advertisement for these types of stores, and seriously most of their stuff is novelty crap, (there are exceptions,) Go, be free, to be whatever you want to be!!!

Only one chance at mud
Posted 2 years agoSo, as ya'all have seen lately, there's just this series I'm posting right now, still have a bit to go with it A few more mucky images to post here n' there then some behind the scenes aftermath shots that I still have to work on and edit.
As noted this season was really messed up for me as my main marshy place was off limits due to a dike project that was being re-done for better flood protection. It should be open for next season depending on how the waterflow is in the area. The forest swamp that you all see in the current series is a bit of a drive for me so its really only good for a session here and there.
Also, as you might have seen in my scraps, I've gotten a Mudscouts picture done by Railride. That gentleman is such a wonderful artist and definitely a fave of mine and my room-mates. I hope to be working with him to do a full comic series in the next few months/years.
I hope ya'all enjoy the current series, and I'd like to thank Aardock for the suggestion of the vinyl leggings. They are both comfortable, and a great fitting pair of leggings. I will definitely make use of them in the future. They make cleanup a breeze too! As always, if anyone has any questions or suggestions, please feel free to note me an I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Not so much mucking about
Posted 2 years agoUsually this time of year is busy busy with me sinking about and mud messing. This year my favorite place is closed with no public access and not even access via the boat launch due to some construction in the area. Suposedly the construction crew is improving the boat launch area (good for me) and performing some much needed work on the flood control dikes in the area. (good for flood season) But this throws a wrench in some of my favorite muddy places for the rest of the season. They are suposed to be done sometime in september. September is not mud season for me, by then its too cold, wet, and windy.
I have one other place I mud about at, but it takes a long time to get to, and isn't exactly readily accessable *grumble* So I will have a series I did a few years ago, Its nothing much, just me in my burgendy leotard. Been debating posting that one, as well, its a leotard, it doesn't hide much and my love handles are showing. Not exactly happy with my weight lately, and this series kinda shows it off. Should I? Most my other shots I'm in skirts n dresses n' stuff like that, which I can hide a littlebit.
any interest?

I've been so busy lately!!!
I've not really taken any pictures that relate to here much, but I'll try to come up with something.

I do have some content coming up here soonish though!!! A nice set of tights and leotard mucking about.
Got some pleather pants on order, anybody else have any other suggestions for outfits I should try?

Only...Ya'all?
Posted 2 years agoI'm not leaving, but...
So, I've been working in the background a bit, playing with my videos n' stuff. FA really doesn't provide a good configuration for Video, so I'm thinking of going to OnlyFans for some deeply edited videos. Why edits? well, I pop the head off routinely to breathe, reorient myself, get a differint position, that sort of thing.
Performing these sort of activities in a fursuit of any degree takes a certain kind of stamina. Just the prancing in the mud takes some skill and strength, and a knowledge of your surroundings. My wolfself out there, Is a serious effort, its hard work!!! Fun, yes, but still a serious workout.
Why am I going to be going there, plain and simple, I need the money, and I'm going to work for it. I already have a full time job, and will be picking up another part time job on three days a week for the forseeable future. I won't beg for money, ya'all don't deserve that, I work for a living. But, my mudding activities don't come cheap, clothing isn't cheap, especially my niche of ballet and that sort of thing.
Travel is something else I'm planning on doing, as there are places I want to explore a little more deeply (ha ha). I will be sticking to the PNW as that is home territory and our area is ripe with unique muddy experiences.
I'm not leaving!!! I will still share stills of my adventures, but actual video of my adventures will be via Only-Fans (in planning stages now)
I will post more details when things get rolling on Only.
Thanks,
Selah

Chill PNW Roadtrip
Posted 3 years agoJust two days out, prolly no more than about 1000 miles or so.
Rain, wind, snow, the usual chill of the PNW in winter time.
A mug of hot chocolate is needed before I roll.
GoPro to-go camera is set and ready, got 1TB microSD to try and fill.
What will come first, me wiping two enduro batteries and 6 regular batteries, or the memory card...
We shall see.
Rolling!!!

Posted 3 years agoDear gosh in heck, go see this movie. If you have a 4D ride/simulator theater, this is totally the way to see it.
The 4D effect brings the movie to life in so many ways, the rain, wind, fog and smoke effects really bring it into a whole different level. The motion seats make the flight sequences and aquatic sequences as if you are involved in the scene. It was Amazing. No spoilers or anything here, but its just wild, long, but good. Be prepared for a ride!

Questions/Answers?
Posted 3 years agoGot a bit of a question for all'yall...
As ya'all know winter is my slow time, a good time for me to sit back, relax and maybe process photography from the past fun season.
But, going forward, I'm curious what my fans and viewers would like to see. Do ya have an outfit idea, something that you'd find amusing, stuff like that???
Making you all happy, makes me happy, and heck more views aren't a bad thing. This place really is my social media outlet, it has everything I enjoy from interactivity to music, and where else can you spy such amusing artworks. I don't really do many of the chat outlets or messengers snapchats or much of anything.
Please feel free to Note me if you don't want to be public in your questions, if not and ya have any questions or comments, ideas, or suggestions, I really enjoy the conversation!
Thanks for listening and understandingWords, text, filler and stuff
Posted 3 years agoI think every one of us have been guilty of this 'crime' though some of us less so than others.
What crime is this? Its the more visual nature of FA, we tend to ignore the written works of art here, we even ignore the audio, the music compositions that individuals create. It is a sad fact of the world we live in. We live for the thrill of what is seen even though if we look through the minds eye to that of books and music, all visuals can be fulfilled within the imagination of others. As it stands, I'm a niche 'artist' in the odd art of fursuiter+ kink of muddy adventures. Really couldn't get much more niche than that, then add writing to the mix, and where would that put me?
Does anyone read anymore?

No, not going to paywall anyone, and I'm not asking for big money or anything like that, buuuuut
If ya like what ya see, and want to help me out a little (clothing is expensive, gas money sucks, and creativity/crafty stuff) isn't necessarily cheap often times, so I've started a Ko-Fi account. I won't be locking anything behind a paywall or anything, but maybe I can get a little money on the side to support my muddy adventures.
I love ya all, and thanks for any support.

Last of the UckyMuck
Posted 3 years agoSooo, with the last set I just posted, the Black & White series, that ends the pictures I’ve taken for this season. I might have some random edits here and there of the various outtings I took throughout the summer, but for the most part I’m all done with my mucky fur-suit photos.
Our weather has changed up for the chilly, windy, and rainy. In fact, last night was our first big power outtage and we were out for about 8 hours or so. We’ll be getting out generator set up here in another week or so, so we won’t have this sort of problem again anytime soon.
This time we got through with the help of RD’s adventure van’s big powerful inverter with a bank of batteries. We were able to plug in our fridge, freezer, induction stove, and a household heater with power to spare it seems. So we had some luck there and didn’t loose anything from it, and stayed nice and warm and cozy regardless of it being kinda chilly outside.
As much as I enjoy the changing of the leaves and the color that brings, it always means storm season isn’t far away. I look forward to spring and summer.

Totally Lit
Posted 3 years agoTotally Lit, ok, thats not a term I usually use, but it works for the situation.
I recently had the chance to help out at a local rave/halloween party event. I managed the lighting and equipment for that event and it went quite well. I made use of several of my normally sedate studio lighting systems and converted them into DJ lighting. An old Strobe, and some changed bulbs on various lights really did pack a punch at the party. Think I might have to purchase some actual DJ lights to subelement my odd studio light setup.
Overall the show-runner, DJ's and audience were quite happy with the light-show, and I've been invited to light other events. So, woohoo. Some of the gigs are actually paid, others aren't big enough for that kind of thing, but it gets me into some very sweet concerts in the future, whilst doing something I enjoy. Win-Win in my books.
Totally lit!

The Muddy Process
Posted 3 years agoStep by step!
Here's how I create a scene:
At home I scheme up the scenario and the outfit. I try everything on to make sure its a good combo and would be easy to work with in athletic circumstances. If its tight fitting such as my tights/leotard style outfits than I wear it under my street clothing with the exemption of leotards, them I pull them up only enough so that their brief portion fits me, then from waist up I tuck the sleeves in and roll it to my waist. This way, if I have to use the restroom I don't have to strip to naked while out in public. All I have to do is just pull my pants down, and I can pull down the rest right there, no big deal.
Anyway, I drive to location, hike to where I want to start my 'adventure' and get changed to my outfit. I have packed in a backpack stuff I will wear once the mud-outfit has become soiled. Generally its underclothing and such up to and including a full change of clothing, just in case.
I like Jeans and a tshirt or something like that for the hike to an 'adventure' spot, as jeans do better when pushing through bushes. Leggings/jeggings material is about like wearing nothing as pricky bushes just go right through them vs jeans where they kinda don't unless you really push them.
Back to the subject at hand, I setup a shot where I can get some good stills of the general outfit i'm in for that adventure, then after that I go and setup the main shot. Set up a camera angle, and maybe test it if I have the time. My 'Testing outfit' is generally just leggings, knee socks, and a one piece swimsuit worn ballet style with the swimsuit over the leggings so the mud doesn't pull them off my butt. The testing outfit is filmed, and once I get back to shore I review the footage to see if its ok (if there is time) When there isn't time for this step, such as its getting dark, or I know tide will be coming in soon, I will skip the test-outfit and go with the main outfit that I planned for this particular swamp, my 'Adventure' outfit.
I set my final camera angles and start into the swamp just a walk or hop-and-plop and a struggle to escape the clutches of the mire. An adventure!!!
After I've gotten the shots I might get another sequence, of shots, or a differint angle. If I can get cleaned up any, I might have a different outfit I can try. In the Dr. Marsh series, about half way through the scene, I take off my lab jacket, and my leotard top can clearly be seen. In the next scene/series I just go back into the mud in wearing only what I had under lab-jacket and skirt. Wolf-panties!!! they are actually slipped on over the bottom half of the leotard. (un seen series as of yet) I'm still editing that series. The only (human skin) you see is my neckline as my leotard didn't go all to high unfortunately. I'm still working out some bugs in the outfits I wear for Selah, to be more wolf-ish.
After everything is muddy and I'm sore and tired I got to take it all off. Everything off (thats why I don't do this in public) So I go back to where I stashed my clothing, hopefully have a stream where I can wash off the thicker muck and strip. My clothing choices help keep the mud free of my body more or less, the thick tights, leotard and other items I often wear help keep me clean. There is often a residue I like to wash off (skinny dipping) and then I can get into fresh clothing wash muddy clothing off in the stream or pond, squeeze till mostly dry, bag and repack muddy gear put my suit head in a bag, and shoulder get all neat and proper for the hike back to the main trail, back to the car, and ready for the drive home.
Take note, the process is all me, there is no assistant, no helpers, just me.
There are two people that know about where I'm at so there is that level of saftey there, but mostly its me on my own doing all this.
Once home, I might have a chance to hose off whatever shoes I brought out (mud adventure and regular) or be in for the evening. A shower is in order, warm meal, and uploading of files, laundry depends on other household members schedules and routines, but everything gets washed in short order and a check on how my outfits fared, if they will live again to get muddy again another day. Most of this clothing isn't in my regular rotation, or are no longer worn as often as I have in the past (red shirt/skirt from last session) for instance.
My season is limited to warm days, and comfortable weather. My studio is sadly uninsulated, and my bedroom is not much more than a closet, so really my only season for performance is summer time unfortunately.
So, I hope this helps everyone understand a little more about the process, how I do things, and when.
Of course if you have questions, comments, please reach out to me. I enjoy conversation!

Time Flies
Posted 3 years agoI haven't been here all that long, but a concept character that a friend schemed up of me in my earlier days has been around since my best friend Cbobcattie arrived here about 14 years ago. Back then I was doing more of a feline thing, that better represented me then, a confident cool kitty sort. Carrie has been a bit of an influence upon my outdoorsy adventure me that has become my normal everyday me.
I've only been here off and on since 2019. Its been fun so far!!!

On lockdown again
Posted 3 years agoAnother member of the household has the covid, and us-all are quarantined till it passes and we all clear tests n-whatnot. Sooo, I'm stuck home, again for the greater good. Soo, all this photodump sort of thing is just pictures from my archives that I've taken some time to edit and work on. I have time.
Destress
Posted 4 years agoTimes have been tough lately, and often times I just find the need to sit back, relax and destress.
I often find myself on Youtube just finding tracks like this, and listening to this and my various trips. https://youtu.be/G_JwkYhtzWQ
