I am currently in the process of getting a new refsheet for my first OC. It’s mainly because I am decidedly unhappy with his old depictions. Ever since the very first FighTober I’ve wanted to destroy any notion or depiction of him as a jobber. Let’s just say some old art from a certain Patreon forced my hand to rebuild him from the ground up.

I know I shouldn’t let other people’s drawings of my character influence the way I see my own OC, but the hate I bear for those old depictions is something fierce. It made me outright hate most art of him with boxing gloves. And yes I truly mean hate, not dislike. If you’ve ever seen sketches of Helio beating gators or bulls into the dirt in a one-sided fashion, that’s the reason. My mistake was not being very strict with how people draw him.

Sorry for the lack of updates. It’s been awhile.

Just wanted to say that as the years passed, so too did my tastes. As I update my gallery over time here I want you all to know that there’ll be a lot less gloved fighting here. If I post any gloved kickboxing art or commissions from other artists, there’s a high chance it’s old stuff. I want to be a strictly bareknuckle/underground guy when it comes to fight art. Not to knock on more official boxing stuff or anything but I’ve always liked bareknuckle fighting more.

Lately, I’ve been feeling soul crushingly depressed and I don’t know why. I can’t shake this feeling either. More than half the time I feel like some kind of joke, me and my OCs.

I just don’t know why. Or maybe I do, but I’m afraid to just say it. Sorry If I’m killing the mood.

Maybe I’ll just draw some vent art or something.

For reasons I’m deciding to post my stuff here again. But I’m also thinking about new stuff. Tell me guys, how does an 8-man nude fighting tournament sound?

I honestly didn’t expect to even hit this number to be fair. Means a lot to me to even get that kind of attention.

Just realized I hit a 100 watchers. I’d like to say thank you, it’s honestly a surprise that many would watch me.

With the change to how uploading works. I may not be able to upload anything for awhile. The way I did it was through my phone. I didn’t have a working PC or anything. Apologies to anyone who actually enjoyed my lackluster drawings.

To those who draw and like fighting based art what do you like about it? What got you into it? Kind of been sitting around thinking about questions like that.

In my case I just really like hot-blooded, passion driven bouts between two strong men. Especially if they’re naked and they beat each other to a pulp. I kinda felt like there wasn’t enough of that. I know I’m weird.

Since’s I’ve been messing around on FA for a full year now I just wanted to say thanks to anyone whoever decided to spend time looking at my weird scribbles. It may not seem like much but it means a lot. So again thanks a bunch for giving my strange art a second of your time.

Going to try and get back to my old hobby, in the meanwhile I tried to update a few old doodles that weren’t as clear or taken at old angles. Still not as clear as I’d like though.

I just wanted to say thanks because I honestly didn't expect anyone to look in the direction of my scribbles. I never really had any confidence in my drawings, and I only picked it up again because of the quarantine.
