Big project. Question, help?

So for October I have been doing a daily drawing (mostly just simple stuff) and I was thinking of trying to do something different next month and do a 'big' project, something I work on for the whole month of November. But I'm unsure of what or really...how. I do a lot of my art at work (I have a very quiet job that allows for a lot of downtime) and don't often have time to do art in my 'off' time. So if I wanted to do something 'big' it couldn't really be a literal 'big' piece like a painting or drawing unless it was digital.
Has anyone else done a Month long or longer project before? What did you do, how did you manage time for it, what media did you use?

I hate to reach out like this but right now I'm on health leave from work and I would like to try to at least keep myself a float and pay rent and such in the meantime.
I would like to try to take on some commissions to bring in some income. And so! I'm open for commissions!

A little special thing I do is if you have a sketch or lineart or base (including Furvilla Bases!) from another artist and you want it colored, as long as you can prove you have permission to modify it for personal use, then I am happy to work on coloring the work!
The cost for this coloring will depending on size, complexity, and number of characters/hours of work needed to be put in. Note me if this interests you!

And what is better than getting something Halloween themes for you or someone you love?
And what about getting it BEFORE Halloween!
Well this year I want to start doing Halloween stuff now so come time for it you won't be waiting till November or December like some artists waitlists. No! I want to get those pieces to you before the holiday is over! So you can enjoy and use them in real time!
That being said....Halloween Commissions are open! First piece that gets commissioned will be half off, as you will get to be my example for the ones this year! Can do sketches all the way to full out pieces! Payment by Paypal has to be made before I start any project :)
And Halloween season...begin!

By commissioning me, you recognize and agree to the following:
General
- I am happy to provide WIPs as I do them and as they are requested. I am open to making little thumbnails/small fast sketches of different kinds of options/ideas for you to choose from for anything above a sketch.
- I will NOT under ANY circumstances, do NSFW/mature art for anyone under-aged or of a child/under-aged character!
- Check my to do list for update, busyness and ranking
- I will not make a direct copy another artist work, if you desire their specific work it would best to commission them directly.
- The commissioner may repost and use the commissioned piece for personal use. The art may not be used for profit. Credit MUST be given no matter where you post with links back to either the work itself or my profile page (with the exception of very small things such as icons, though a credit on your profile would be appreciated) . Do not claim my art as your own. I retain all copyrights to the works I make. DO NOT remove any watermarks or signatures from the piece. You are buying the right to use your commissioned piece for display only.
- You can NOT use the artwork for prints, book illustrations, covers, non-profit making projects such as free online games, or any other publishing without permission (whether you make a profit or not). You may not redistribute my artwork or use it for external projects such as games or ad banners, etc without my physical written permission.
- You are allowed to make very small modifications to the piece but you are NOT ALLOWED to make larger modifications, trace, make bases out of, sell, manipulate, change or use my works without my permission, unless otherwise stated.
- Harassment, threats, whining, demanding and stalking behavior will NOT be tolerated!
- I may use your commissioned piece for examples and may be used in, but not limited to, my gallery and portfolio.
- I may also use the artwork for prints and posters for shows and conventions. By commissioning me you willingly accept that the work you have commissioned may be used for profit by myself and those I allow in commercial and non-commercial settings.
Refunds
- I will not work with a deadline, as I do not have an art schedule, I work in my free time from my job and general life duties. Because of only being able to in this available time, please be patient with me.
- Payment is non refundable. If the work is cancelled, I will still charge for the hours I put in regardless.
- I hold the right to make refunds if I am unable or no longer willing to complete your commission.
- I will not give a full refund if you are not satisfied with the finished product. If you are unsatisfied with the piece, I am willing to discuss and make edits to the work. I will not re-do the drawing entirely.
- By purchasing any of my services you're automatically accepting my Terms of Service and being obligated to follow them. As well as promising you won't request any Paypal chargeback. If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted and I have the right to sell the copyrighted artwork to new buyers. Also note that you will be blocked and you won't be able to purchase anything from me anymore (commissions, adopts...). Your name and info will be publicly posted everywhere for others to watch out.

The best way for a description ref is bullet pointing the different descriptors.

I cannot stress this enough. Saving the art made for YOU is YOUR responsibility as I can't always promise I will have it in future! I do clean my gallery from time to time and things can always happen with computers!

And we are back!
Posted 8 years agoWelllllll lorddexx and I are finally back from MCFC 2017.
Overall it was a hard con but still a good one for us. There was some drama, from a known drama source, that yet again used us as a target. We ignored it as best as we could and enjoyed ourselves regardless.
So Dexx left a few days early to go back to the city we just moved from. I took a bus after work and met up with him and the 3 others we would be riding with on Wednesday. We drove all night and arrived at 11 the next morning, ready to check in and tired from the long drive and minimal space. The room wasn't as we expected but we managed to make it work for everyone. We got to wind down a bit at the pool and soak in the hot tub. Thursday night was pre-registered pick up and I decided to volunteer and worked 4 hours at the pre-reg laughing my butt off and making sure everyone got what they needed. While it was a little disorganized chaos at first, it was still a blast and I plan to do it again next year!
Friday was a busy day with the opening ceremonies, checking out the dealer's den and checking in on our dealer, looking for people we know and then checking out artist alley. Dexx also hosted his panel, How Batman is a Furry, which was funny and gathered a good amount of us nerds together. Friday night was full of laughing as we got ourselves into a game of Lupus in Tabula (werewolf but with modifications). Not only did the werewolves win...I was one ;). We ate one of my friends and then blamed it on the other friend all cause he made a joke about it the 'day' before hehe. It was a blast playing off coy the whole time and really making people question who it was. I never denied it, only questioned why they thought I was the right choice, which really seemed to move people's thoughts onto someone else. Hey, we even ate my boyfriend! ...who then murdered a werehamster cause he was the Hunter...bahahahah meaning no more werehamsters to win the game! It haven't had that much fun playing Werewolf in years!
Saturday was a little busy, up for the Parade. Dexx walked in the fur parade and I filmed (not that best quality mind you...). Then off to my own panel, Gender Diversity, and get to talk to people and give the little advice we could for the time. It was good to see everyone there and I hope I was at least some comfort or help to those that gathered with us. Saturday was the Super Sponsor Dinner, which we got to see one of our friends from last year, a silly shy one full of smiles. It was nice to sit with one of our new friends too, a pretty druid with all the questions, and spend some time with some of the staff. By the time the evening came we were planning to go to another Lupus in Tabula game but we arrived just moments too late. So we went back down and joined our trio of friends, a snuggly nomming kitty, a sassy wise kitsune and a goofy sweet red panda, for a drinking game and then to hang out in the lobby for a few hours. In the lobby I ended up with small world syndrome, when someone I didn't know came right up to me and asked if I was the small green bat. I was not wearing any of my badges or anything obvious, just my name badge, but he hadn't asked the name. Turns out he recognized me from one of my MCFC videos and then he recognized Dexx just from the sound of his voice! Turns out it was the Rock'in Dragon, and when we got the Kitsune to come back down to see him, his partner arrived...who was just the artist they had been looking for all day! All turned out eh!
Sunday felt a bit long as I hadn't slept well that night. We went down for breakfast and then to the artist alley to get a last few commissions in before closing time. We both got a few commissions of our characters on ACEO/ATC cards! It was a new thing to do and we both really loved it! Now I have a few little badges of different characters of mine which I hope to post in the coming days! Still waiting on a few last ones that should be shipped to us but we aren't stressed. Dexx even won a raffle for some art! After Artist Alley we checked on our Dealer Nereza and helped her pack up some before we headed for the Closing Ceremonies. It was short but sweet, we raised 9700~ $ and they brought it up to 10000$ for Pets for Vets! Everyone was so touched and it's so beautiful how much furries can do together for others. At the end we learned there wasn't a Guest of Honor or even Theme picked out yet, which made us sad. But we are hoping to hear about it soon! Sunday night wrapped up with some hanging out with the Kitsune, Panda and Kitty. Even got to hang out on the patio and in one of the rooms with out new friends, drinking, laughing and having a good time. It was nice to just talk and not worry about the world and as the night drew to an end I knew I was going to be sad to leave my new friends.
Monday morning I packed up a lot of my stuff and headed down to put in an hour volunteering with the AV guys and then finished the packing and headed for the car. I hugged all my new friends, and we agreed we would stay in contact! While there was some issues, Dexx and I are debating if we go next year, or even if we can. We are hoping so and look forward to see everyone again!
We got to eat, drink and merry...a lot! I was having so much fun I actually didn't go on my computer for 2 days...I tend to go on it a lot and I'm a little addicted to Furvilla at the moment so this was pretty big to me!
I already miss my new friends, and old ones too, from the con and those that came with us. We are home safe now. Have to scan in some art and update a few pages but trying to relax a little and enjoy my last few days off before back to work.
This has been a crazy long journal but if you got this far thank you. We had a really great time and if you went this year, or may go next year, we hope we see you next year!

Taking Urgent Commissions!

So! In the last 2 months a lot has changed for me and a lot of expenses have come up!
To start with I accepted a job in another city! Woot me!
The downside is I also have to move to said city, and since they needed money in advance for the rent and I have to get a uhaul and hooking up hydro and internet such we were already looking at about 4900$ just for the move.
Now! The car broke on Sunday! And we move this saturday! The repair is around 1300$ plus the traveling back and forth to get the darn thing from where it broke down we are looking at about 200$ for that.
SO!
I am offering commissions for anyone willing to help! I will take as many as there is interest! Traditional or Digital! I can even do badges!
I use paypal and can even mail traditional works if you cover the shipping costs :)

Commissions for Tablet and Debt
Posted 9 years agoHey everybody. So back in May my tablet died and wasn't fixable. A friend's mom lent me hers so I could keep working on my digital artwork. It has now come the time that she would like it back, and unfortunately I haven't been able to save up any money, as it turns out my roommate at the time was stealing from me (to the what turned into the overall tune of 5000 Canadian).
So I'm offering commissions to try and save up for a new tablet and maybe work down some of the debt that the roommate put me in.
Would anyone be interested in traditional commissions, or digital ones that I would make once the new tablet is in? I would even be happy to do like a bunch of art for people who help out a lot!
