Over the past month my migraines have gotten more frequent, and unfortunately one of my triggers is visual sensory overload, which I sometimes get when working in Blender. I really don't want to quit, and I probably won't quit forever, but right now I need to focus on my health and that unfortunately means not using Blender. I've been posting some smaller things and stuff from my back catalogue which I haven't posted yet because working on larger scenes is likely to trigger a migraine, and these migraines are NOT fun to go through. I still enjoy making stuff for this community and I wish I could do more of what I love doing but my health and mental wellbeing comes first. So for now I'm done. If I get any art of my characters from other artists I may post them here. I'm still open to talking to anyone who wants to, and I try to respond to every comment. Thanks for all the support.

i realize i've been posting a lot recently. inspiration for these comes in bursts. i'll make several a day for a week or so and then not make any for a month. they're fun to make when i do get the inspiration though and that's all i care about. hope you like what i'm putting out though.

i want to post more stuff but i'm not sure what kind of stuff to post more of. suggestions welcome although there'll be no guarantee i'll make any of them

i am quants. i'm 23 years old and i'm 5'5". i'm a shapeshifter made of liquid ink that can turn into basically anything (minus inanimate objects). mostly though i take the form of a kangaroo because they're cool and they go boingy. i don't have a mouth because i thought i looked cute without one. i also sometimes don't have arms for reasons beyond understanding by puny mortals. i'm a toony boi which means i have toon powers i guess. i have the Autechre logo tattooed on my back because they're cool. i don't wear clothes because fuck em. i'm gay and my boyfriend is a red panda named X. i like music and also other things. i have an alter ego named Quentin who is a mad scientist type guy who does experiments on willing participants. i like to think i'm nice, hopefully i am. arf

i don't want to disrespect anyone in the modular community, but i guess i didn't realize when i started posting art and tagging it "modular" exactly what i was signing up for. i feel the need to emphasize i'm new to all of this and although i appreciate the support i'm not fully into modularity the same way others might be. "modular" was just the best tag i could think of for what i was posting because my characters do have limbs i just didn't want to deal with posing them. again, not trying to disrespect anyone, if that's what you're into i'm not going to judge, but if you were maybe hoping i'd dive in head first into this sort of thing then i apologize. i may end up doing some sort of tf/hybrid art with my oc and maybe x at some point but i don't want to go there just yet. i just like posting the stupid shit i make if i like it well enough and i'm glad some people do and that's all that matters. hope you understand but if you don't that's ok

happy 2025. i felt like writing this for some reason. as you know i post a lot of art of characters that don't have arms. that's partially down to laziness (the arms are the worst part to pose) and partially down to the fact that i got used to it. i say i'm modular because i don't like depriving my boys of their limbs permanently so i prefer to think of them as just optional. as far as other forms of modularity go i haven't really experimented. i have in the past but i don't plan on posting any of my old art (god forbid). i might make some experimental stuff in the future, idk. sort of on the fence about being fully modular just cuz idk i like being mostly in one piece i guess. i just like making art of my characters i suppose. fun fact they are very huggable and you can talk to them and they're nice

hi. i don't post journals often but i felt like making one just because.

one question you may have asked of me is "y no arm?" which is a question i get asked sometimes. the answer basically boils down to i'm lazy and i hate posing them in blender and drawing them myself so i just got rid of them. but at the same time i've gotten used to the way it looks without them so i made them part of my character. i kinda think it's cute ngl. my character is a shapeshifter but i think "modular" better applies to what i'm doing with him and x in blender. i plan on experimenting more and trying some different stuff out with them, but not sure if i'll post any of the results. i also plan to get more 2d art of my character(s) done but idk when that'll be.
