Went to the hospital last week and got the Ultrasound done. They didn't tell me I'd also have a 2 hour test to go along with it though >.< which was annoying. They had to inject me with a slightly radioactive dye then monitor my gall bladder while they attempt to stress it out.
On Monday I went to my doctor to discuss the test results of that and the other blood work I need done.
Results:
Blood Pressure / Heart Rate are Normal
Sugars are at 99, so no diabetes
I also need to eat right and exercise
EDIT: Forgot to say that no Gall Stones and my Gallbladder is working at 63% efficiency (Normal is 30%)
The Liver Enzymes were high before (what prompted the gallbladder test) so I had those tests redone. I got that info back last night, and they have gone down. This means that the Hepatitis A is the decided cause of all my symptoms; and I should be good to go now
Cost me $300 though... but not much you can do on that end of things

So, it seems that my bathtub drain broke and was draining into my walk through closet. By the time I caught it and got Management out there... it was really bad.
They're in the process of fixing it ATM, and I'm staying with a friend while waiting for the repairs to be completed...

I guess if you're into that it's OK... but otherwise, it's rather mean.
Too many times I've been burned... and it is getting annoying. So, I'll sadly be reducing things it seems.
It's nice to be nice and get satisfaction from it... but when that satisfaction is taken away, it just leaves a sour taste in your mouth.
Also; I'm sorry to all my watchers for not having much of any art up. I've lost my drive and desire. Maybe it'll come back some day. But until then... I dunno... just not working for me.

Back from the Doctor's Appointment

I'm feeling a lot better, and have been for a bit. I had the Gallbladder Ultrasound today, and just got back (at Noon) from my 8:30 AM Appointment.
They did the Ultrasound first, and informed me that they didn't find any gallstones and they checked my Liver and I think Pancreas as well while they were doing this. They said because I had no gallstones they needed to do another test.
They had me head over to Radiology and I met a rather cute older woman who was running my tests. Really nice, though with my veins she had a rather difficult time getting it in. Ended up having to pull someone in from ER to set the I.V.
After that they injected me with "slightly" radioactive stuff, and had me lay under a big machine for an hour and a half.
It was a stress test, and I didn't feel sick at all (was a ... am I hungry? or am I sick? ... sort of feeling) so I'm probably A-OK.
It takes them 24-48 Hours to get the test results to the doctors so I'm expecting to hear from them on Monday or Tuesday.

Posted 15 years agoGiving you guys a little update ... just got the call back from the doctor... He was rather surprised... It seems I got Hepatitis A somehow...
So that mightve been what has caused me to feel ill for so long... Still going to get the Gallbladder Ultrasound... But it's just one more thing to add to the pile.

Posted 15 years agoFigured since I typed it all out I'd post some info up here for everyone to read.
Well... I've been ill for the last month or so... Started out for two weeks with fevers / headaches / random aches... then went to the doctor... decided to stay home and try to get better. Sadly that's when the sickness kicked in full force. They had no idea what was causing it, so over the course of the next week and a half I was out of work and went to the doctor (2 diff ones) 3 times.
They drew blood, ran tests, got chest x-rays, etc... all sorts of fun stuff. Through the whole thing I've got medium fevers, headaches, nausea, changes in bowel movements (bad), lack of appetite, coughing, aching, etc... they thought it was some sort of virus or bacterial infection... but I lost like 15 pounds and felt like crap.
Still, after all those tests they couldn't find anything ... I started to feel better over the weekend. Had one final appointment with a new doctor (my regular one, that had been out of town) and he starts poking me in new places and checking for swelling...
He draws 3 vials of blood for tests and says my gallbladder is tender ... Turns out, my liver enzymes are up, and I may have a bad gallbladder... so I'm scheduled to get an ultrasound next week
If it turns out it's bad I'll have to get it removed... though, that's suppose to be a relatively easy surgery to go through.
I went back to work this week (Tuesday and Wednesday)... This evening though I got a voice-mail from my doctor. he says: I had your labs back, and there was one of the tests that I need to talk to you about. ... So... now I'm like WTF... am I going to die, or what? and I'll have to call him in the morning
and... that's pretty much everything
I'll post another Journal tomorrow with info on the call to the doctor, and another when I get some info on my gallbladder.

I'm tired of working to give people my money... tired of buying something to help someone out, and getting the run around... tired of needing to follow though with people months later to see where it is... and tired of artists not having the common courtesy to actually respond, instead of ignoring my note...
There are a lot of good artists out there, and a lot of artists that do what they do in a timely fashion. However, I've been burned too many times.
I'm not going to name specifics. I'm going to try to not sling mud. But I've been defeated.
So, that's it. No more commissions for me; and to insure I don't end up becoming the same that I hate, I don't think I'll ever take commissions myself. If you want something colored, I'd highly suggest
wuffamart or, for cub (and more)

This will last until I get all of my current contest winnings, commissions, what have you back from the artist.
I cannot believe I am allowing myself to get frustrated over shit like this... but at the same time... I know exactly why I'm so frustrated.
Along the same lines expect me to do less "Just because" shit for quite awhile. I've got a lot of money owed to me, and I'm tired of sitting on it, trying to be nice.
Life kicks us all in the balls from time to time, but it's simply unacceptable to not even keep in contact with someone to update them, after they've helped you out, or after they've purchased something from you.
BTW, if you think this is directed at you, then you should analyze why you think this, and don't come bitching to me about it.

Posted 15 years agoAs you might remember I spent the last week in Florida on vacation.
Visited a friendly fur, met his mates, and relaxed around his house for the majority of the time. It was a nice break from the norm.
We did hardly any touristy stuff, but after being outside for all of an hour, and having the AC break on us for a couple of days... I must admit I'd probably be more stressed from my vacation than from work if we had done stuff all throughout the week
besides that, I like vacations where you do nothing... It's what they're about, for me at least.
Sadly he did have to work a bunch and we never got a chance to go to the nude bathhouse... So I'm thinking I need to go back (in the winter this time!) and try this "Florida" thing again...
I did see a few "WTF" things... Like a guy driving a jeep with 2 8' tall boxes in the back... Sitting vertically... And making a large V in the air... I do wonder if he managed to avoid all of the overpasses...

Visited a friendly fur, met his mates, and relaxed around his house for the majority of the time. It was a nice break from the norm.
We did hardly any touristy stuff, but after being outside for all of an hour, and having the AC break on us for a couple of days... I must admit I'd probably be more stressed from my vacation than from work if we had done stuff all throughout the week
besides that, I like vacations where you do nothing... It's what they're about, for me at least.
Sadly he did have to work a bunch and we never got a chance to go to the nude bathhouse... So I'm thinking I need to go back (in the winter this time!) and try this "Florida" thing again...
I did see a few "WTF" things... Like a guy driving a jeep with 2 8' tall boxes in the back... Sitting vertically... And making a large V in the air... I do wonder if he managed to avoid all of the overpasses...

Well, I'm going to finish coloring the last 5 or so pages, and upload it to Inkbunny to sell for a little bit of the monies for Amarimasi and myself.
I need your help. I have two Questions:
How much would you want to pay for the Completed Series?
In your opinion should I go back through and redo the first few pages? See: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1861852 through to http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1868576 so they better match what I ended up with; or do you like the experimenting and changing style?

Posted 15 years agoI'm looking for someone to commission that is cool with drawing fat furs.
I'd like to get a picture of the Kool-aid dude after he has busted into my house.
The fun thing is that I drank the entire contents of him, thus the fat-fur content, and have him tied up so I can use him as a swimming pool.
I'd like to get it with a background. The background I want is just the typical room with the busted wall (hell, use the Family Guy episode for extreme references), with some random fur fixing the hole in my wall.
Said random fur will be YOU! ... if I end up picking the Artist you suggest for the picture I want
So... Throw me out some suggestions for artists to use!
