Posted 9 years agoI'm sorry it took me a few days longer but I have picked Heiwa DAD! I loved all the designs but I chose Heiwa cos of her unique fins and wings, it's an artsy crafty challenge I can't wait to tackle! c: Also I love her overall design ^^
Thanks so much for entering if you did, I wish I could make everyone at-cost suit slots but I'd never be able to make it a job in the future if I did that XD
Anyway, I'm excited to also say I am FINALLY done cleaning/organizing my suitwork area and I can officially get back onto suitwork! I can't wait to get more progress done now that I got a sorta better sleep schedule going AND a suitwork area that is neat and organized and big enough for me to work in c: WOO! I still might see later if I can fit in another shelf or something to store my actual suits in cos right now they're in a box. I don't have a closet or anything so some stuff like all my fleece, vinyl, and minky is in boxes or totes. BUT once I get this entire queue of suitwork out of the way I'll be able to make fursuit work a full-time job enough so I can MOVE OUT :D Once I move out I can have more space for suitwork! I consider fursuits like.. my life right now basically. I just love them<3 On an artistic level fursuits are amazing, I love making them, I love getting suits from otehr makers in their style and so on! I can't wait until I can do more and afford more and ajfkdjfa;kldjfjdkaf
But I will keep focused on what I gotta work on RIGHT NOW, which is my current queue! c:

I'll be doing a quick sweep through my notes and emails to ensure I got everyone who said they wanted to enter in the site. New years resolution!
Posted 9 years agoI don't remember my goals from last year and I cleared out my journals at some point but oh well, here is what I hope to accomplish in 2016!!
First off I'll work hard to get suitwork done in a more efficient manner. No more projects hanging out on my queue for a year or more. I mean it's really REALLY tough getting a lot done in a short amount of time while working 32 hours a week at walmart and my position is a physical one, PLUS I don't sleep well during the hours I have to sleep and sometimes I sleep too much resulting in less time for suitwork XD Like yesterday I was SO tired after work I layed down at 3pm and I had my alarms set for 6pm but I didn't get up til 2am!! haha eeh
Along with the suitwork goal I'll be making and maintaining a more efficient fursuit work setup and storage space. I'm already coming up with ways to be more space-efficient but I won't focus fully on that until I am finished with the koi kitsune partial which I am expecting to complete soon. Literally just need to put in the teeth, tongue, and eyes! AHH
A couple other goals:
-Make ONE plush. For years I have wanted to make plushes but never fully got into it. I want to take some time to just focus 100% on a plush from start to finish. I've made plushes in the past but never fully completed any. I don't know what I'll make, probably something simple since I don't want to take up too much time from suitwork but I do want it to be a nice quality so the effort and work is well worth it. I'll post it in my suitwork queue when I decide to make one so that people on my queue are aware of when suitwork will slow for the plush project. Again it'll be something simple so it shouldn't take too long to make c:
If anyone has suggestions for a simple but fun plush I should make let me know!
-Go to at least ONE of the cons I want to go to most: AC or MFF. If I can go to both I will but I can't tell so ahead of time. It also depends on how many people are going/staying and whether I can afford it at the time. I'll save up what I can though! But the biggest reason I don't go is due to work and if I can get the days off or not. Anyone else definitely planning on going to MFF or AC? I'd love to have a DAD suit by one of them to wear at a DAD meet but if I go to a con with a DAD meet I'll just wear my regular AD suit, Cryo c:

Posted 10 years agoAnyone else love the game? I haven't paid much attention to it I think for a year now and don't have time to open it up and check it out right now but have they made any big updates lately?
I can't decribe just how badly I want SCP containment breach to be a bigger more detailed game. The atmosphere and gameplay of the game is so much fun I just love it! X3
I was just curious if anyone knew. I've been playing Markiplier's ENTIRE SCP containment breach playlist as background noise while I work on suits X3
I myself would LOVE to do a full playthrough of it but the game was so unreliable before, not cos the game is bad but the seeds taht it would spawn wouldn't have all the rooms so I couldn't progress D: Before when I played it frequently I actually would start a new game with a new seed and noclip through the whole map and mark it all down to ensure I'd actually be able to get through everything but that ruined the fun a bit D: Watching Mark's playlist helps show just how often you have to start a new game XD 47 episodes, he starts a new game almost every episode! XD He's only gotten to an ending(there's 2 unless they updated it) a few times..
ALSO does anyone know why my typing is causing right-click to happen???? OVER AND OVER AGAIN ;w; it's extremely frustrating. My hand is not resting on or near any keys as I type, nothing is touching my laptop track pad, nothing is touching or on my tablet, I don't use a mouse and one is not connected anyway. I googled what shortcut keys are on the keyboard that allow you to right-click without a mouse and from the looks of it they involve pressing alt, tab, ctrl, or one of the F keys.. I am not pressing ANY of these keys. I've had this issue since I upgraded to Windows 10. It's been difficult to type even a smple short sentence sometimes. Just earlier today I was trying to respond to a note and I dunno what it selected but it reloaded the entire page & I lost the whole note I just finished typing up ;w; Other times it has highlighted and deleted all that I've typed so far in any text box I use, it also has translated the page, made the inspect element thing pop up, etc.. basically anything you see on the right-click menu keeps getting selected and the right-click menu keeps popping up while I type. I'm not pressing any keys but letters, shift, punctuation, etc.. This has been driving me INSANE some days cos I just wanna type ;w; anyone know what is going on?? Is it Windows 10?
AHHH fjadkfjadkj;fdk I'm a bit hyper atm, working on a headbase btw! I'll get WIPs posted to my twitter later:

Posted 10 years agoTry to claim art or a character design as their own work and creation in an attempt to steal it or guilt someone into giving it to them?
Cos I had someone note me on DA claiming an old ref/design as their art and a design they and their friend spent 'weeks developing'. I created the character long ago as a fursuit idea and I recall someone even stealing it and recoloring it on instagram. The person's icon/ID on DA has the character I own drawn but honestly anone could've whipped that up super quick to LOOK like they use the character. Their gallery otherwise has one photograph not relating to the character and that's it.
But I just wanna know, is this something people sometimes will do to try and get a character? They said their friend helped them design it. I told them their friend probably copied my work and design and didn't tell them. If they argue that isn't true then I don't know what to suspect could be the reason other than them just trying to get the character? Iunno, anyone face a similar experience or know someone who has? :o

All prices include US shipping, I will not be shipping internationally at this time, sorry! All fursuits will come with a laminated traditional badge of the character as well as a fleece plush prop! I will give you a list of prop options when you're accepted. No deadlines will be set up for these slots however I will update customers on the progress of their costumes as they're worked on! Tips appreciated, it'd help me out cos then I can focus on freebies for everyone to enjoy vs commissions X3 I will also have commission slots available via this account for DAD art! At-cost fursuit slot open to all species!
Posted 10 years agoAlso the opening for this slot has been extended! I will now pick who gets this slot January 1st! I decided to extend it for two reasons: To give people who may be seriously interested more time to save up and think about it, and also to give me some more time to catch up to my current queue!
Don't worry this page will stay say DADs for a while but eventually I'll get it changed XD
Also I want to say PLEASE be patient about getting your quote, anytime I calculate a quote I reopen all fur supplier pages and take my time to look through furs and look for best matches, fur pile lengths, etc.. I don't rush in coming up with a cost so please wait for me to respond! Also to make it easier since my FA notes are a jumbled mess now, I'd like you guys to EMAIL me your quote forms so I can keep better track of them X3 If you've already sent one via note, even if I haven't responded yet then you don't have to email me. Only quote forms from NOW on will need to be emailed!

DAD at-cost slot, open to other species?
Posted 10 years agoWould anyone be interested if I opened this slot to other species? Reason I ask is cos it's already mid November and I planned on closing this at the end of November, but so far there's only 6 official entries. I know some people may be waiting but there also haven't been many quotes beyond that number.
SO if I opened this up to other species would anyone be interested? Would anyone actually enter? So far for the DADs quotes have ranged from $480-$680 just to give you an idea on pricing.

Update on last journal about DAD suit
Posted 10 years agoLots of feedback and it was all positive! SO I think I will go with that idea c: I'll have information typed up tomorrow most likely & also just so everyone knows I will leave the quotes/applying open for about a month. There are three main reason for that. One, I still have a few suits to complete so there's no rush in filling this slot. Two, it'll give those who are really interested some time to save up if necessary. And three, Skypro opens in November and so those who are not picked by Skypro can have this opportunity as well X3 Cos I know those who are wishing to apply for a skyrpo suit wouldn't be likely to apply anywhere else, in case they're picked.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback, guys! I'll get the info for this slot typed up tomorrow and posted via journal and maybe a submission <3

Posted 10 years agoI wanna make a 3rd digi fullsuit sample at the end of my current queue so I have three samples before opening commissions for digi fullsuits. I'm considering doing this:
Charging only costs of materials and shipping. Also should mention I wanna specifically make a DAD costume!<3
People can get a quote & then apply with their DAD. Once I've given people enough time to apply I will go through the list and select ONE lucky DAD owner to get this seriously discounted fursuit slot.
Anyone like that idea? Think it's a good one? I'm hoping a lot of people will apply if so cos I REALLY wanna make a cool DAD character and the more options/variety to choose from the better!! :D
