Web hosting sites?
Posted 13 years agoI've been thinking about starting up a webcomic project, or perhaps a blog. Would anyone happen to know of any good hosting sites for this? Would it be a good idea to just use a blog and post there? I'm not really certain where to start...
Whew. been gone way too long.
Posted 17 years agoAh, back online after four months without a computer. nice. Now that I'm back I look over some of my old stuff and think to myself: "Wow, I really am quite an angry person. I don't seem to have any pleasant things to say in these journals. So, I figure my first order of business should be to fix that problem.
I don't think I've ever given a proper introduction of myself here, have I? no, not at all it seems.
It's never too late for something like that.
Let's see, any of you who are even reading of this probably already know my alias, because I would only be able to hope that someone could be so observant, so let's skip to the "who".
I'd rather remain anonymous in terms of my actual identity, but I can tell you I'm a 20-year-old college student living in North Carolina, USA.
I should probably say more.
I love cats. Once again, not so much anything new to discover, but if I'm going to give a proper introduction I should include as much.
well, actually, that about sums it up.
oh, and I draw.
Hooray, now that I've finally gotten around to remembering to give at least a minor introduction, perhaps I won't be so grumpy online as much. One can only hope.
Now that being said, and if anyone is still reading after this, I do have something to bring up, regarding my drawings (which I can finally start uploading again soon. yay?). I've been wondering if perhaps I should start including some of my more... age-inappropriate doodles and drawings. What prevents me from doing so is the fact that if anyone I know decides to visit my FA account, that would result in endless awkwardness. So perhaps I should start up a new account, specifically for these purposes?
well, I would also like to apologize for being so... unfriendly... earlier. I'm not exactly the most social person.

once again. please stop...
Posted 17 years agoOnly a few people have been doing this, but i've caught some irritating shit way before over this: please stop comparing me to VGcats. You may be intending it as a compliment, or as an acusation. I don't care. I've already had plenty of people in the past accuse me of ripping Scott off, and I just don't want to deal with the headache of it anymore. I know many of you only intend it as a compliment, and please don't think I'm angry at you for your kind sentiments, but this has been an ongoing problem plenty of times on plenty of websites (most notably DrunkDuck and DeviantArt. DD is still fine, but I ditched DeviantArt like a bad cold.)
Please, don't think I have anything against the maker of VGcats, either. I don't. He's a fantastic artist, with plenty of great jokes. I truly believe he earned every ounce of his popularity with his skills in comic-making. I'm just sick and tired of always being compared to the guy.
thank you.

irony strikes again...
Posted 17 years agoI was intending to update at least some today anyways, but hilariously enough I've recently been KICKED IN THE FACE BY SICKNESS. As one can predict, this could cause a person to update less than they originally intended to.
I'm going to bed. I'll update more later.

Yeesh. haven't updated in forever...
Posted 18 years agoI really should get around to doing just that.
Just... stop.
Posted 18 years agoI don't mean to offend anyone or anything, but I really am getting annoyed by the fact that everytime I fave something, or everytime i post a watch, I automatically get an obligatory shout on my page going "hey! thanks!"
I KNOW you're happy I faved/watched. but this is just ANNOYING.
I'm glad people here are friendly and all, but sometimes enough is enough.
I love comments, but usually ones that I can think on.
Maybe someone could leave a comment with some thoughts on my drawings, for once.
I don't mean the friendly "oh, that's neat!"
I mean comments that might get me thinking about my subject matter. Stuff like...
"oh, that's cool and all, but maybe the proportions were off some? have you tried..."
or "y'know what would be cool? if he were in SPACE!"
or hell, even negative feedback.
I love to know what people truly think of my comics, and they could even just come up and say "well, I don't read them much, but THIS was okay I suppose."
or could just flat out harass me!
Anything I could take into account when thinking of jokes, because I can assure you that I'll be thinking of ways to do so to everyone else as well.
And I don't say this to be mean or cynical, I really do like you guys.
This is a fantastic community, but sometimes I feel as if I'm only a barely-tolerated observer. With no feedback and no way of knowing if anyone even READS my stuff, I don't have much incentive to post my comics or drawings here.
but, I repeat once more.
PLEASE STOP THE "gee thanks!" SPAM!

Have I mentioned...?
Posted 18 years agoI don't remember fi i've ever told anyone here on this site this before, but if they want to see my actual comics, they should go to the site http://www.drunkduck.com/South_Of_Sanity/
where my comics are hosted.
If taht link doesn't work so well, just go to Drunkduck.com and look up my comic's title: "South of Sanity"
also, my comic Happy Smiley Valley of Death is there as well. to view that one, just go to "browse and search" and look up "HSVoD".

I strongly dislike valentine's day.
Posted 18 years agoValentine's day can go fuck itself in the ear with a burning icepick.
Just thought I'd mention that.

also, Chuck Norris sucks.

Shameless Plug.
Posted 19 years agoWell, I tried to go without advertising this but...
go look up the comic South Of Sanity over at drunkduck.com.
Here's the link:
http://www.drunkduck.com/South_Of_Sanity/index.php
If I tried to post all 140+ pages here on furaffinity, it would prove me not to be lazy.
Since I don't want to go against one of the basic laws of science, I've decided to just post that link.
(Also, I would LOVE comments regarding my work, what you liked/what you didnt like/what could be improved/etc.)
thank you.
