Vancoufur 2017: Space Station Zebra
Posted 8 years agoSo I went to Vancoufur this weekend, and it was a super fun time!
Met so many new people and got lots of art and all that. It was very well set up and organised in most aspects. c:
The only thing was the fact that, even though there were about 150 more people than last year, the con space often felt very empty and quiet.
So I'm not entirely sure were everyone was, as most people showed up for the big events.

-Radon Tablet broken/Update

So I said that I was going to be increasing uploads and journals and as you have probably noticed, that hasn't been the case.
There's a couple reasons for that, the first and foremost important one: my tablet is broken.
The plug in has separated from the internals of the tablet, so it can't charge or connect with the cord.
I'm going to be contacting Wacom soon and hopefully I can get a replacement as I've had it under a year and haven't been abusing it.
The second, less important reason being , school has become very hectic, lots of papers due and the the like.
So I have had a little time to draw traditionally and I was wondering: would any of you be interested in seeing some of that in the mean time? Until I can get my tablet replaced.
If so, let me know. c:

Howloween 2016: Zombies
Posted 9 years agoSo I was at Howl 2016 last night and the night before.
I was a ton of fun, even better than last year!
I went with and was her handler. We met so many new people and did way more stuff than last year!
If anyone has heard about it in the past and are unsure if it'd be worth it to go, you really should! It's small, but tons of fun with lots of great people. c:Happy Halloween!

Slight delay on YCH completion

So I've been swamped with school work and 3 midterms coming up within 2 days of each other.
I bring this up because it's going to create a delay on the YCHs they will be completed as soon as possible, but more than likely not until next week, after my midterms.

Halloween ideas/ thoughts

So while I'm waiting for my tablet to get here I've been sketching out some roughs for the halloween YCHs and other things.
The reason I'm making this journal is because I was curious if any of you guys had any ideas or thoughts on the matter.
What I more or less mean if there is anything you'd like to possibly see this halloween, throw it at me!
I'm good with most things in terms of gore and the like so don't worry about that. Come at me with your ideas and it might pop up as something come late September/October.

So I finally was able to get a replacement tablet and will have it within 2 weeks. I'll need to get used to it, but that means I'll be back in the saddle soon enough.
This is just in time for me to start figuring out the Halloween contest drawings for this year too, so that's nice!
Just a little update as to where I'm at. Sorry to keep you waiting, I'll be back soon.

Just making a journal to say that I'm alive and well.
I also wanted to apologise profusely about the over long absence and I thought you deserved a bit of an explanation. Sadly there's not much to it other than my tablet broke a while ago and I haven't had the ability to replace it (which will change very soon if all goes to plan) as well as not having the motivation to do much traditional art other than sketchbook scribbles.
I will hopefully be able to order a new tablet very soon and be able to start doing stuff again. I have been sketching out stuff that will become full digital pictures, possibly even paintings as well, so look forward to that? I also have stuff that was in progress before my tablet went kuput. So there will be things coming pretty quick after I get this figured out.
Despite all that I still can't apologise enough and I'll be back in the saddle as soon as I can.
On a different note, is there anything that you guys might like to see when I finally do come back? I have some things in mind, possible events and such, but I'm curious of what you guys might have in mind. :)

It was Blast. This was my first furry con, as-well as my first convention in general and I have to say, it left a great impression.
It was very well run with lots of room for everything, I went with and we both had a great time.
We never made it to any panels but we did see the dance competition and the Variety show, both were very well set up and a riot to watch.
I got lots of pictures....some of which are actually usable so I'll be posting some of those later.
There were loads of fursuiters, I saw new ones every day I was there which was awesome.
I talked to lots of awesome and super nice people and made at least one new friend!
So to bring this disorganised train of thought to an end; It was an awesome con with great people, had an amazing time, laughed a lot, met awesome people, played patty-cake with a fursuiter and spent way too much money, and I would happily do it all over again. :)
And now I'm sad cause it's over and I don't know with to do with myself...
...Well, I'll look forward to -and hope to see some familiar faces at- Howlween at least!

Update!
Posted 9 years agoHey, so I've been extremely quiet since Christmas and I apologize for that. Unfortunately I still won't be uploading digital art for a while due to 2 reasons: A lack of time and the fact that my tablet has been suborn and unresponsive as of late. I've been trying to fix it but no luck so far.
I'll try to update with something as time goes on, mostly traditional I would think, I've gotten some new watercolour pencils so maybe I'll play around with those. :)
So, sorry about the slowness, I'll try to have some stuff up at one point or another while I figure out the tablet issues ;v;

Posted 10 years agoHey everyone, how're you all doing? I've been inactive lately with journals and art and I apologize for that. Between exams, work and christmas I've had nothing to really show you guys anyway.
So to give this journal some content a couple of things;
1. What movies/ shows that have anthro characters in them do you like, such as kung fu panda, which I am watching now. :)
Some of my favourites are; Kung Fu Panda 1&2 (as said before), Land Before time and Robin Hood. ovo
2. Ask me questions!
Hope to hear some good questions and movies from you guys!

Posted 10 years agoSorry I've been so quiet over the past week, I really haven't had much time for drawing :(
School's drawing to a close and that brings a lot of tests, projects being due and exams, so try to bare with me. ;v;
I've also been trying to come up with ideas and draw out the holiday YCHs give-aways, so that'll be happening soon, hopefully.
So, how've all you been doing? Had less stuff than me, I hope :)

Would anyone be interested in commissions from me?
Posted 10 years agoIt's not something that I've ever done before so I'm curious if there'd be any interest. I'd try to be just as fast as I am with my free stuff (which I often try to have same day turnout) despite that and any tips on commission work would be appreciated.
And speaking of which the free stuff would still occur, don't you worry about that, it was already relativity infrequent (though I have some plans for Christmas/winter ychs like I did for halloween) and I would still do them every once and a while.
Just curious if any of you would be interested in that, if so I'll try and figure out some prices. :)

I went to my first furry event tonight

, a friend that doesn't have an FA and myself went to Howloween, which is a small event near Vancouver B.C.
We all really liked it, everyone was friendly and it was cool and exciting seeing some fursuits in real-life :)
We unfortunately could only go for a couple of hours 5:30 to 10 pm about because of work stuff but I'm glad we went nonetheless!
I tried to take pictures of as many suits as possible, though I didn't get them all sadly, that I will post tomorrow! ovo
Question time!

I've decided that I kinda of want to be more vocal here, so I'm going to try to make more journals from now on to communicate with you guys with what you might be interested in. ovo
So how are you guys doing? Listening to any good music lately?
...Anyway, I was also wondering, anyone be interested in some experimental badges/ art? Just me trying some different styles and stuff with different characters and different formats (the badges). These probably won't be for a little while, when I have time more or less, but I'm still curious if the interest is there. ovo
