Still Alive And Kicking

It's been a...while longer since I've made an update post about what's been going on with me and life or how there's been a lack of posts for the past 3 years or so.
Needless to say, it's just been one eventful seven years, and another three within 'em is just more kick to the balls that left me emotionally drained, which to say doesn't make my health any better, though it's just minor stuff, so...I'll live.
I just wanted to let people know that I'm still alive trying to live life and figuring out what to do with it soon. Been thinking about wanting to post something here and there so don't expect a masterpiece to be made here or asking me for commissions (which is something I should be working on in the near future), just want to get back into the groove of things and wanted to do it for the fun of it like the good ol' days.
But yeah, I hope you all been doing well and stuff...and I also want to thank you all for still sticking with me after all this time...
..I will admit I'm not very good at making journal updates, but I'll try at least once a month or so to tell y'all what's up here or when I decide to start doing commissions, I just need to improve some more that I should of done a couple years back.

An Actual Journal Update

Hey everyone how are things going with you all?
It has been a very long seven months since I posted anything on here other then several pics I have uploaded last weekend which I am very pleased about.
Although I am still working on a brief back story for my characters and to what my story is about since it's been a REALLY long time that I want to get started after the New Years (Or possibly after my volunteer work at a convention at the end of December), I just got a good feeling that this will be a great year in 2017 to finally get things started! ...aside from "other" things that's been happening lately... >_>;
I know I haven't been doing much work for the past seven months due to constant negativity and...well...doubting my own work. As in never get as much feedback as I use to back on deviantART during 2004-2010 when I was a amateur artist with improvements that needs to be made, which I have made quite a lot of progress with! But still think I need more of it since I got a lot of time on my hands. Thankfully this December I'll be getting a new computer to work with for my drawings and hope to the tech gods from above to have my drawing tablet being more efficient then for being slightly delayed when the pen hits the surface of the tablet...probably needs some adjustments. Maybe. I Think. Possibly...yeah that could be it.
Later this weekend I'll be making a journal update about my character's backstories and link them on here for y'all to give 'em a reading as well as updating about what my story will be about with those ten as well as many other characters that'll be included into the story.

I hope you're Thanksgiving is going as good as mine was and hope none of y'all had any injuries during Black Friday, hahaha! I should feel bad laughing at your pain... XD;
Anyways, I started posting more of my work this time around! Hoping I can get some more artwork done and maybe some story writing down, just as soon as I can kick both artist and writer's block out of my house I can get things going around here!
I don't know why but I do feel very enthusiastic lately!

My Story in Progress & Commissions (Sort Of)
Posted 9 years agoHey guys! It's been a while since I posted my last entry on here since January.
Things just came up for the most part and I've been keeping myself busy with my social activities like board game nights and card games. March of course has been a very off month for me because...well... let's just say it is something I would never discuss on here or anywhere else. Politics and shit like that does make me depressed, but hey, what can you do about it? At least I get to go to SXSW in my hometown, Austin, TX during that month and I had a blast there! Though it could of been bigger at the Palmer Event Center just across the river where Downtown is. XD;
Aside from gaming aside I've been thinking about continuing on working with my long term project "Rayoyasai Chronicles" which involves most of my characters that you see from my drawings. Which it does mostly center around Russeil Sollest, which you've seen throughout my gallery, which I have to apologize for the lack of uploads I have made for the past four months... But yeah. It is mostly center around him and nine of my other main characters, which they'll have their own back stories soon. Though I have been giving some time, and I mean like a long-ass time to write this story. Though as I said before, things keep coming up in RL.
But if it wasn't for some of you who encouraged me to see more of my content. But I do want to ask you my faithful viewers, for those who are still watching me. Would you like for me to continue working on my story? If you want to know what it's about, I can write a literature of a prologue to see what is going on. Cause guys, I really to get this story started because. And with my new art tools and a Intuos Draw tablet, I think I'm ready!
Since I now have new supplies and a tablet to work with more of my drawings, I think I should open up commissions to start saving money for something good as a self employed artist. I cannot make a list of prices for what kind of drawing I'll do just yet, cause...well...I need to figure out how can I get you guys to pay me or me to pay other artists for a commission for myself. I mean sure there's PayPal and all, but isn't there a better way to find something like that without have to put all your bank account's info and all? Seems like a hassle to me. But who knows, they probably changed it.
But I guess I could accept both cash and checks, but I can only take US currency cause foreign money is kind of worthless here. XD; Guess you could transfer it into US cabbages to do that. Okay not literal cabbages though, I'm more of a carnivore then a herbivore. But anyways, I'll be naming a price for those commissions here soon this week if you're interested and explain my terms for them.

Lazy Artist is Lazy + Three Free Request Drawings
Posted 10 years agoHow is everyone today? I'm sure it's all fine and dandy~ At least in a moderate way of decent. XD
Not much is going on for me for the most part. Still living and breathing for the most part and having been keeping myself busy.
So I was thinking about doing three request drawings from anyone for free just to keep my art mojo going, that and lacking supplies since my mechanical pencil broke and have to find a replacement. So pretty much I can do traditional drawings on paper with pen/pencil and coloring them either with some high quality coloring pencils or markers or on a GIMP program.
I'm still not taking commissions just yet as of now I have no way of knowing how to use PayPal. That or I'm having some distrust of using stuff like that. I could take cash or checks from via mail but for now I'll just do free art for people as for now. So just send me a Personal Message if you want a free art from me but I can only do three as of for now.
The only thing I will not do is Adult or Mature art. So you'll just have to deal with it. XD

A very late Birthday
Posted 11 years agoAs the title said, yes, four days ago was my birthday. And now I am a quarter century old~ Which is a fancy way of saying I'm 25 years old...which makes me feel even more older. :T

In Loving Memory of Pete
Posted 11 years agoOn November 10th 2014 earlier this morning, one of our dogs and my dad's best friend Pete at the age of 14 (I think) recently passed away due to having a cancerous tumor growing from his leg and worked it's way to his neck... Can't really go into deeper detail since how sad it is to loose your best friend like that...
He lived a long life and was loved by everyone in my family, especially my dad the most since he loved that dog too... I couldn't rid my memories of being the first to see that dog laying there...lifelessly...as me and my mom told him the bad news he tries to shake him to wake him up in denial for a second...I couldn't bare to watch and left. The least I could of done is help my dad dig a hole deep enough to put him in there...never in my life I ever see my dad cry, guess he didn't want to show it when he has to buried him...I never did shed a tear for Pete's Funeral but my heart aches with such sadness...
May you rest in peace Pete, you've brought us happiness as we gave you a home, a family that loves you and a wonderful long life...

Smashing It Up
Posted 11 years agoSo I finally got my hands on the latest Super Smash Bros for the 3DS. It's pretty good from what I can see, having 60 frames per second for the fighter looks rad, though I'd say that the online mode is a little lagging and a bit slow, thankfully playing online with a friend or two doesn't lagged too terribly. Pretty much all there is to say here and to prove once again I'm not dead.
I also bought myself a Wii U again for bundle purposes and getting Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate again cause hardly anyone I know around here don't even have the game or even know how to play the game, scrubs. :T (nah jk, not kidding, kidding kidding)

Posted 11 years agoNow to be fair I'm not a huge fan of giant Kaijus or giant monsters which is the same thing, but I did decide to go see the new Godzilla movie and all I can say about it... it's pretty good, not Movie of the Year but pretty entertaining to watch.
Now I don't want to spoiled anything unless you do want to be spoiled...n-no I'm not going to, go watch it, it's worth killing your time during the weekend. Just wish the theater's AC was a bit colder and I didn't have to wait to the movie's over just to use the restroom...damn you bladder... >_<
And if y'all did see it, what do you think of it? Like I said, it's decently good it's all I can say.

Well...to explain that very simple and not so complex.
1. Being a lazy bum.
2. Figuring out money issues.
3. Failing at job searching as usual.
4. Playing too many games.
Finally. Practicing, practicing, and practicing....with my art skills...
But we've been through this before already.
"I didn't draw much gonna get right on it, blah blah blah" but hey! I'm trying to get my life going okay? And try not to be a lazy bum mostly. That and my laptop is starting to have a bit of issues. Have to clean the dust out and come up with a way to save up for a decent good drawing tablet so I can work on doing digital drawings.
Speaking of which, I'll try to upload some drawings I've been holding onto for some time now. So go crazy people...you can stop now...seriously staph.....okay calling the Insane Asylum... :I
One more thing I like to ask you all.
Should I get a PS4? Reason why is that one game called "Deep Down" looks really effing rad, and maybe get Elder Scrolls Online (ESO for short) if I have the chance. And also re-getting (if that's not a word then it should be) the Wii U for many many reasons....supersmashbrothersfour.

Just want to say Happy New Years and a very Merry Late Christmas since I've been busy all this time with Christmas and at the convention downtown over the weekend and forgetting to mention the last two weeks was my 24th birthday, YAY FOR GETTING OLDER!! :D .... D: .... anyways....
NEW YEARS RESOLUTION!

Lose 40 lbs.
Learn how to Drive.
Art School to improve my skills a bit more.
Going to cut back on junk food to eat healthier and doing some workout.
Own a Wii U (again) and a PS4.

Also, I may have to ask y'all this question and what I need to do to fix it.

Dark Souls II Beta 10/27/13 (Rant - Edit)

It...was a big waste of my 1 hour and 44 minutes of my time trying to long in and log out, I gave up my sleeping schedule just to hit the X button over and over just to log into the Beta and still can't get in there.
Not only that I am disappointed, but I was upset, lost my patience, and was most displeased of NamcoBandai didn't get the connection going or to have more then one server, or even explained to me how to update my game and sh*t, god damnit I've waited to play this beta and ready to see what I was really up against in this game, but no, the only thing worse then it's game difficulty, the 2-3 hit kill monsters, the black phantoms of players, monsters and NPCs, and the two boss betas...is the Title Screen of the beta...

But at least on their page they do say they are sorry for the technical difficulties for not being about to connect the network test in both North and South America, but I am still disapointed that I lost 2 hours and 25 minutes of my time when I can just go to sleep and do something even better, like drawing...It's been a while since I have drawn anything aside from posting journal entries that no one seems to care at all.. >_>

Howdy howdy people, seems like my printer is working just as fine as it is now, so I don't have to buy another one to replace it, hoorah! :D
Thought I don't think I would be printing things out of it though...but I can still do some scans for my drawings again so that's still a plus there.
Now since that's out of the way, I recently getting some people from Skype and from Second Life to ask me for some commissions for my works. Now I would have to say that I don't really use PayPal cause well...it's being a bitch to me and refuses to cooperate with me >.> but I'm sure I can work things out from it through my email address, but please note me first if you want a commission from me.
Every once a month I'll upload a journal entry with the commission prices and it'll go up depending how well I am selling my work, or you can just come back to this entry to see the price, either way. XD;

Posted 12 years agoApparently my scanner is acting weird as hell after I replaced it with another ink cartage just to print something out and the dang thing started to make noises and shit...I think I broke it...I mean it was working fine a while ago and I dunno why it's doing that. I'm no tech expert but what should I do? D:
Well..if it isn't fixed I might as well wait till I have some money to buy another one, while I'll still do some drawings from my 3DS...or till I get a new tablet or printer :\
Dragon's Crown Review (PS3/PSVita)(First Review)
Posted 12 years agoAs the title said, this is pretty much my first review for any game...well..first review for anything really. ^^;
Not sure how well this will go for my own review of a game that I just recently bought and play so here goes..
I have to say that I've been waiting for this game ever since I saw it from E3 2011 (Or was it 2012?) and just that moment I really want to get my hands on this game, though it got delayed a year head in 2013.
As far as my experience with RPG and Beat'em Up games, such as generic RPGs (coughfinalcoughfantasycough) and beat'em up games like Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Double Dragon, or even Castle Crashers. And I think this game is perfect for my liking of both of one of my favorite genres, as well as other genres I have listed but I am too lazy to even make a list of them. (except sports)
Okay lets get serious here.
First off, I LOVE this game for almost all of it's reasons, not only the game plays really well but the graphics of this game is so god dang gorgeous I can just look at them all day, if I pay any attention not to get killed that is.. XD the gameplay of the game can be different depending on which of the six classes you choose from to start with, either if you're into melee, magic, or range combat, this game has the classes for you to pic. Personally I find the Fighter to be my fitting class even though he is pretty much recommended for all players and not so hard to remember his moves as well as his skills. I'm pretty sure I'll play the other five classes after I beat the game with the Fighter up to Lv.99 if you unlock the Inferno Mode of the game, which I think it'll be Hell once I reached there.. XD;
I do like to point out on some things in the game as well, but this could possibly be spoilers of you wanna skip this paragraph here if you're that interested in this game or not. ^^;
As the game begins I cannot play online with anyone until I get to a certain point of the game. I admit I thought I was going to be disappointed cause the game lied to me about no online multiplayer till I got to the point where I can now play online with other people and not just AIs that I found and resurrected from the dead to join me in my battles. But it's the least of my problems of this game, though another minor issue of the game is the Narrator himself (or herself if you download a free DLC with different narration voices from the six classes) He serves as the Dungeon Master of the game, or DM for short, and talks throughout the game explaining what is going on from the NPCs and around the dungeons. Though it can be a bit annoying whenever you're in town and he/she tells you to "Go do this" and walked in the shop just to buy stuff and coming out hearing him/her saying the same thing over and over. Of course you do have the option to mute it so it wouldn't be too annoying and just read the subtitles yourself. XD
What makes this game really stand out is the graphics design of it, not like Call of Duty graphics (hate that game btw), but it's like a painting coming to life and it is somewhat awe inspiring, I know that cause I am a amateur artist. ^^ Some of you recognize the art style from Odin Sphere and Muramasa which their both amazing games imo, though never did played Muramasa so I'll give that a try at some point... >.>
The game I think would have at least 120 hours of gameplay if you wanna unlock all of it's continent which is pretty good for it to be a long play as well as earning trophies from the PSN, and playing the game fully with all six classes throughout the game.
Now the rating score..
If you're a hardcore fan of RPGs with Beat'em Ups in it as well as online multiplaying and looting a bunch of treasures and stuff, this will be the game for you, if not then you might as well pass on this game if you don't wanna waste any time collecting loot and stuff. XD
My final score for this game is...you know what? Screw the rating scores, that's for losers. XD
But if you want a honest score for reals, I give it a 9 out of 10. Only thing that bugs me is the constant reminder of the narrator tells me the same thing, but then again you can just mute him/her. ^^

Last week I tried some Sushi for the first time, and well.. I liked it. fish was a bit raw, cucumber was okay, and the rice and seaweed was good as well..or I think it was? I don't think I taste it that well..oh well. XD;
But I was kind of dumb enough to try the Wasabi alone and well...let's just say it just leaves a bad taste to my mouth and of course was spicy as a hot sauce.. <..<

Cardfight Vanguard Advertisement~
Posted 12 years agoAs most people are unaware of, Cardfight Vanguard! Is a very interesting TCG (Trading Card Game if you don't already know what that means) that I started playing back in November 2012, thanks to a friend of mine at my local game store that brought the game over.
I have looked over at the game and didn't think it was my thing, until I played it that is and later bought a Trial deck for it and play with my friend and anyone else that are into Vanguard as well.
In Cardfight Vanguard, you play as a spirit who is transported into a distant planet almost like our's call Cray where magic and technology are together and blah blah blah..yeah I'm a bit lost about the game's history but so far it's a big thing over in Japan and we want to encourage players from the US and at my state to play this.
The goal in the game is simple, you must deal six damage to your opponent's Vanguard to win the game before he/she hits you for six damage or you'll lose. Though there are so many clans to choose from and they all do their special thing, for example; Royal Paladins focuses on gaining power by the number of Rear Guards (Or what you call them as Allies & Supporters), Kagero focuses on retiring (or kill) Rear Guards to gain benefits such as gaining more power or draw a card and such, and Nova Grapplers focuses on standing up the number of units by either using their skills or to make a drive check to get as many Stand Triggers as possible to do multiple attacks.
But I'm pretty sure y'all are confuse what all of this means, well...I'm not a good teacher but I'm sure y'all will figure that out yourselves. But trust me, the game is fun and you'll be poor at the end of the month till you can't buy any more, LawL~ Although if you're gonna make a specific clan (For me I am currently building my Aqua Force Deck) you'll need to buy a certain booster pack set that contains the cards you need to match your clan, so it's not like Magic The Gathering where you get cards just to replace the one's that are useless or illegal for tournies, for Vanguard almost all of the cards are useful, specially the vanilla based units in VG.
