Hey guys! Quick update from me here.
Last Saturday I ended up having severe abdominal pain and vomitting all night. We ended up going to the emergency care center and turns out I have an obstruction (blockage) in my intestines some where so now I'm stuck in the hospital until further notice.
I'll keep you all updated if any thing new happens.

I hope every one had a great new year (:


so! as some of you already know on twitter, I've been on and off complaining about my drawing hand's worsening condition.
a couple of months ago I noticed my hand getting sore after and during my drawing sessions. After this past week or so it's become a lot more harder to ignore.
now unfortunately my right hand / wrist is having difficulty grabbing, pulling, or writing without it causing pain shooting up and down my arm. That's when I realized that I should be going to see some one about this.
I haven't yet, but I will some time this month (once our car situation is fixed)

BUT, for now I am taking caution and treating my drawing hand better than I was before. (shorter drawing sessions, more breaks, exercising my wrist etc)


the obvious reason I'm posting about this here is because I won't be as quick as I usually am with commissions being finished.
Which saddens me a lot. Only a few months ago I was able to push through 3 to 4 drawings a day, now I can only do 1 or 2 if I'm lucky.
so please be patient with me as I go through my trello schedule, and my commissions will be closed until I can see what I need to do with my hand.

hey guys! I've recently been getting a surge of people messaging me about when my commissions will be open again, and that will be some time in the month of January <:
there's two reasons for my commissions to be closed right now and that's finishing up my list of coms on the waiting list, and to switch up the order form rules / deadline info.
I'm also currently trying to figure out a way to keep commissions fresh and less draining for me. These last 3 months or so have been really tough on my motivation so I want to fix that in 2018 (:

but yeah !! it means a lot when you guys message me about when I'll be open again. I'm glad people like my work enough to buy it ; v ; <3

Still have my cold kicking my ass right now, but I should be good either tomorrow or Sunday. Thanks for being patient guys (:

I wanted to do some thing else than taking more animal crossing themed stuff & actually add a cute theme to them instead (:

I logged into my paypal about 20 minutes ago and saw paypal gave back the original $803CAD my bank sent to paypal last month!
So I'm very relieved I didn't lose it forever.

AGAIN, THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERY ONE! I was right on my hunch that paypal would take much longer than they had originally said they would, and without your guys' help I would have had a negative account for close to a month now (it was placed negative on the 21st of September)
so thanks to you guys I was able to clear out the negative balance, AND still be able to work. Thank you ; v ;

So we called paypal back just like they wanted us to today. Call was pretty frustrating to put it lightly.
the department forgot to note that we had faxed a bank statement showing they owe us $803.18 now that the balance has been cleared on our end,
and we are STILL waiting for them to confirm that they received our original bank transfer of that exact amount on the 6th.

First they tried to tell us that they didn't receive any faxes and to call back in 2 days. Then after some persisting they magically found the fax, but said it was too hard to read. Apparently the amount of numbers on the bank statement confused the paypal representative on the phone. (I don't know how you could not be able to read bank statements working at paypal...)
After we had some not super awesome things to say about their professionalism, and how frustrating it was to have to deal with this for almost a whole month they finally put our case into the escalation category to try to investigate what happened to the 800 dollars we originally sent them to clear off the negative balance in the first place.

We also contacted our bank again to see if there was any thing they could do to help us out since we're pretty much tired of having paypal runaround and not give us any clear answers. Just a lot of "call back tomorrow."

So we're waiting for a call back from our bank & seeing if they can directly talk to paypal about the transfer they made.

my head hurts a lot haha.


EDIT; oh also I forgot to mention paypal transferred us to 3 different departments and managers in this one single call, too. No one wanted to deal with us after they saw how many notes were under my account.

So we did the thing and phoned paypal back about the negative balance on my account due to their error on duplicating the withdraw amount.

the first time we phoned today I was pretty much told flat out that they were unwilling to help with the negative balance on my account and that I had to pay for it in full or else there was a
high chance of my account being locked out. To say the least I was very unimpressed with this response since the last time I had talked to paypal directly they said "Oh don't worry, we'll fix this on our end! if it goes negative just wait a day or two and it'll be fixed!" Apparently not!

After I hung up and collected myself we called again, but with my husband on the line instead of me. Things changed from when I had phoned originally. Instead of a flat-out no like they were giving me, they asked for the bank reference number (which I had given in my call but they refused to take it saying it was useless.) and wanted us to fax the bank statements showing we had returned the extra withdrawal amount on the 6th to paypal and they should already have it sitting some where. Now we wait I guess. They said they'll phone back on Monday with an answer to where that return went & what to do about my account balance.. we're phoning them back Monday morning because we don't trust them any more.

So with all of that, I have a paypal account with the negative balance of $743.25 on it and I can't receive commission payments without it completely eating them to restore my balance back to positive. I won't be able to use it until Monday. I have a back up paypal account that I will be using until then so I can at least work tonight and for the next 2 days until we figure out what to do, and if this turns out to be longer...


If it comes to that situation where paypal has literally fucked us over hard and won't fix their mistake in the first place, I may have to take emergency commissions in the very near future to fix this negative balance bullshit.
So I guess keep an eye out for that ? ??

The paypal problem:

So unfortunately for people waiting for get invoices from me to start their commissions, this will be delayed until my paypal balance has been fixed.
Some of you already know by following my twitter account that at the beginning of the month paypal messed up a transaction with a withdrawal I made to my bank account which resulted in paypal accidentally
duplicating my withdraw amount and giving me way more than I actually had in my balance some how. I very quickly realized this & had my bank reverse the double withdraw and send back the extra money to paypal. (this was on the 6th)
fast forward to the 14th and I receive an email from paypal saying that if I didn't have that extra money in my balance by the 19th they would place my account into the negatives.

Well, I ended up phoning them that day to resolve the issue. It was about 2 hours on the phone with them until they realized they had made a mistake and their programming messed up giving me the extra money on accident, and my bank was currently trying to return it so they had the amount back. But by this time it was already 8 days of waiting for the return to hit my paypal balance. All I had with me was a reference number for the return from my bank for paypal to record. To be honest I have no idea where that amount went and it still hasn't hit my account yet. It's been 15 days since my bank made the return..
So they said they'd call or email me back in 48 hours with a fix & if my account went negative to not worry about it because some one was on top of it. I didn't receive any call or email at all, and it's the 21st now.
Now I just got an automated email from paypal today saying they had taken the balance out that I apparently owed them resulting in putting my account into negatives. about -$740 in negatives.

I'm going to call paypal again tomorrow morning to see what they can do for me. Because I don't have the funds to fix this & I have no clue what my bank did to the extra I had sent back.
**This isn't me asking for any help by the way! That won't help in my case as paypal has already stated they will fix this internally on their end, and shouldn't worry.


the invoice problem:
of course invoices are going to be halted until paypal can fix my negative balance. I don't want commission money to be immediately eaten by the negatives. (I had one commission eaten already because of this but thats okay I should have moved it when I had the chance.) So what I'll be doing is sending out sketches to commission customers to show progress until i have the account resolved.
This is the same for YCH commissioners in the future as well!

Sooo YEAH. hopefully I can get this fixed by the end of the month @_@ thanks for the support as always guys <3
