Hello there,

I wanted to give you all an update from my recent journey regarding my decision on art making.

I had some conversations with some good friends and my therapist about quitting art and with some encouragement and some advice. I decided that I’m going to continue making art again and not quit. I don’t think that it’s a good idea to quit anyway because I’m just allowing the haters win and I don’t want them to control me at all. With that being said, I am going start making more art and possibly make some improvements on how I can make art and work myself around my work schedule from my job. I haven’t officially decided to leave my current job yet because I need to figure out what I want to do career wise. I have expressed interest in moving back to my home state of Minnesota where I was born and raised. I may need to get some help from my brother (who lives in Minnesota currently) to find work there.

Back to art, I have decided to work on some art for some friends, I may also want to focus on fanart, train art and I may consider a remake of an old art piece for a certain 50th anniversary in November.

I do want to acknowledge those who spread concerns about me regarding the recent journal. I wanted to say thanks for looking out for me and I especially want to thank,  KieliIndustries,  Ghosttypeboi and  tiredman6 for giving me the support and comfort I need during the difficult time I had with the last few days, and thank you all for sticking with me and I promise to do more art in the very near future.

Btw, there might a new character coming out of the oven soon, stay tuned!

Hi there,

Wanted to give you all a update on how I am feeling…

I feel like I’m going nowhere and I’m tired. I have been doing my best in life and work doesn’t help either. I have been loosing my motivation to draw art and I’m really tired of how slow my progress is because I’m so exhausted from 7 to 9 hour long shifts at work. I have considered to find work elsewhere but I’m afraid I may be in a job search limbo again like a few years ago. It’s not the best job in the world but it’s what I have.

With that being said, I don’t know if I’m going anywhere with my art. I have tried to improve on my art and I’m sometimes not satisfied with how I sketched my work. I feel like I’m not gaining a good audience either. I had someone in the comments saying, “Stop inflating s***, you autistic f***”. I also had a comment from a former friend (who would remain anonymous) from a few years ago saying that “I barely put any effort into my own art”. Perhaps he’s right…

I think I’m considering on quitting art…. I haven’t been able to impress anyone, make them feel happy and I feel like a failure.

I’m gonna have to think about it for a while or at least take a break to think about it.

Hello there!

I haven’t been posting any new art lately mainly because of two things. One is because of my current IRL job, which has been draining me a lot of my energy and time to do new art. Even though I am trying my best to work on new sketches and content. Another reason for the lack of new art is mainly because I have been trying to improve on my art and art style. I have figured out some new things including improvements on the mouth designs on furry characters. I have been experimenting and I plan to do a few good projects, including one for Christmas.

I have also been working on a long overdue project on a train art piece. As of right now, it is halfway done and I can’t wait to show you all the finish product! I am also curious if anyone is up to see any art involving my railroad, the Red Fox Railroad (RFRR). This may contain some “Railfox Lore”, different railcars and some fun ideas.

Overall, I do hope you all understand my current situation with my art progress and I do hope to make more awesome art in the near future. I may have to start looking into finding a more suitable job in the next few months. Who knows, I may open some commissions between jobs.

I’m haven’t been posting new art lately due to my current job. It’s kinda hard to find a good time to draw new art because after a long day of work, I come home very exhausted. I find days off the good time to work on new art. Even though it’s usually one day a week I get off.

However, I do have new art in the works, as well as a small series of art involving me and some friends. I also plan to work on some personal art as well as art for some cool people. I also plan to draw more elephants! I hope to create and post more art in the coming months. Sorry I haven’t been posting lately, I’m gonna do my best to get some art done.

Hello there!

I want to give you all a little update in terms of art and other things. I am still trying to make art as much as I can. However, due to the holiday season kicking in with my current job. It'll probably take a bit longer to make art at the moment, so submissions might be slower than usual. The job I have is pretty much taking a lot of energy from me to the point I have to finish art on days off. I am still hoping to make more art in the near future. Just expect that I might be a bit slow when it comes to creating more art.

I also want to hear your feedback on this subject. Since my other hobby is making custom LEGO builds (LEGO MOCs), are you all interesting in me posting my creations here? I have posted some on my Instagram before but I'm just curious if you are all interested in seeing. A majority of them are likely to be train-related builds but there will be some other builds. Comment below if you are interested in seeing some content like this.

As I stated before, I do plan to make more art in the near future, I do have a few ideas I need to sketch as well. I do want to point this out that I'm not currently opened for commissions at this time, I do not know when I'll be open for them.

Hello There,

So recently, things have turned for the best. Gonna talk about what's going on and updates on future art.

On Monday, February 6th, 2023. I have been giving a job offer from a friend of my dad. He was looking for someone to hire and he decided to give me a tour of the workplace, immediately I got the job. I am working at a local UPS store where I am packing boxes and sorting packages. This is really good news for me because I have been out-of-work since November, 2022. I was put On-Call for a very long time to the point I wasn't making money. Thankfully I have a good, paying job now and I hope to continue for a good long while.

On the other hand, while I am getting settled in for my new job, there are some slight updates.

Recently, I have opened commissions and manage to get around eight commissioners. For those who have commissioned me, I want to say thank you! I am working on finishing the last two commissions. However, with the new job and schedule. It may take a while for me to make new art and to do commissions. With that said, expect me to be slow while drawing new art. However, I am still planning on new art after I finish some art for my friends. I do plan to draw some furry-related themes in the future such as FebROOary, Marco March, MerMay, Juicy July, etc.

I also plan to make some changes for my FurAffinity account. I gonna start making some rules and TOS for my commissions and art. I would like all commissioner and trade artists to be 18 years or older. I will not accept minors. This may go into effect around this Spring, I'll give you updates on that soon.

If you have any questions, please comment below and I'll try to answer them all.

That's pretty much it for now. The new job has given me motivation and happiness since I can finally work to build my career. I really want to make new art and it will happen, please stay tune! Thank you for your time, patience and support!

I have been thinking about it and I might try to open commissions. However, I want to see if anyone is interested. I say that because nearly every time I open, I get like one or two commissioners despite having 5 slots. So I decided to see if people are interested first. I'm not open yet until I have made my decision. I'm trying to earn some money because of my job situation.

For what I can do, I can do Single or Two Characters in Flat-Color. The will be $10 USD each character. Sequences are not available now. Probably another time.

Hello there,

As you can tell, 2022 has come to an end…

When 2022 started, I thought things would hopefully turn out for the best. I was wrong. I did manage to graduate college with a degree in Bachelors of Science in Business Management. That was pretty much the ONLY good thing that happened to me. After that, the rest of 2022 was a sh*t show. Two months after my graduation, my grandfather (my dad’s side) passed away at the age of 88. I miss him a lot, it was also hard to see my grandfather suffer from dementia for the last 5 years. After that, I have tried to find work at a local place at home and I had no luck for around two months. I did finally got a job at a coffee shop near my home. I didn’t complain about it too much when I got the job because I had finally got a job after college. It was very short lived. After at least a month since I got hired. My boss decided to hire another employee and put me “On-Call”. After November 13th, I haven’t been working. They said they would call me when they need me, all I got is no calls.

2022 has really beaten me down a lot and it was not really helpful when my dad couldn’t go home for the holidays due to the winter storm, and had to stay in Louisville, KY on Christmas Day. I’m just done with 2022, I hope 2023 is better than the last few years I had to suffer. Hell, I am still processing f*cking 2020.

I’m sorry I have to be that one guy who has to make anyone feel bad. I just feel like I’m not going anywhere in the last few years. Anyway, I just hope you all are doing well, better than me for sure. Hope all of you and your family and friends got to celebrate the Holidays together. Happy New Year everyone.

So I have been contemplating on doing more of Rail as a red panda, also know as Railpanda. Don't worry, Rail as a fox will still be a thing.

I really want to practice drawing red pandas better, for the past few times I haven't been too satisfied with how I did it. I may need some feedback from fellow artist who have done red pandas. The thing is that red pandas have a unique fur pattern and I'm trying to fit that with my art style. Also at this time, I am working on a Victoria character who is a red panda. Any feedback from all of you would be awesome.

In terms of ideas for Railpanda, I can be open to hear some suggestions. I do plan to have Railpanda as a blueberry, stay tuned! If you have any suggestions for red panda designs and art ideas for Railpanda, please comment below in this journal. As of right now, I am working on art for some close friends of mine, including a Christmas art piece (Will be posted on Christmas Day).

Hello.

Things aren't going well as planned...

On my last journal, I mentioned that I worked at a local coffee shop as a barista. Let's just say it's not gonna last long. I finally got the job in September of this year and was pretty happy because I was looking for work since July. Sadly, that happiness was short lived. A week ago, my manager decided to hire a new worker into the coffee shop and decided to put me "On-Call". He explained that I wasn't in trouble or anything like that. I was a slow learner and made some improvements within the last month.

What does this mean for me? It looks like I won't be getting a lot of shifts as much as I want. With that, I may have to find another job.

This year was beginning to boom for me in the first half, but then it became a bust. I'm probably going through some depression right now. Even though my birthday is this November 22nd. Sometimes I feel like a failure at everything. I may vent more at the end of the year, so probably expect another journal coming up.

For now, I will continue to do some art on here. Gonna finish a few pieces I have started in the last week. As well as other projects I have planned in December.

I will update you all when something comes up like a new job. At the meantime, I'm just gonna post some art.

Hello once again!

I am NOT dead or inactive. I am doing well as of right now. I have some new news to talk about so let’s get to it.

If you are one of my friends that have chatted with me in personal messages or calls, this isn’t anything new, but for those who don’t know, I have a NEW job in Louisiana. I have managed to find some work at home after my college graduation in May. It took me a while to find work but I have a good job now. I’m currently working as a barista at my local coffee shop. Which is why I have a art piece of m fursona as a fat barista vixen. In case you are wondering, I will have Railfox as a barista vixen in some upcoming art pieces. If you have any idea suggestions with Railvixen as a barista, comment below! Looking for some ideas!

I do have some updates for my art schedule.

Since I do have a new job, I might be a little slow for making more art. I will make more in the near future, it’ll be a slow process for me. I have a list of ideas for me to draw and I’ll be making those for sure. Also at this time, I am creating a updated concept art for my characters from “Victoria”. A steampunk furry dystopian thriller novel series I am currently writing. I do have some art finished for some of the characters but I will post them all at the same time when all of them are done, stick around to see them! After creating art for “Victoria”, I’ll be doing some art of random furry stuff. Possibly doing more art for fellow artist I like and some friends. Please don’t note me about requests, I am not open for other art or commissions at the moment. I may also do some fanart of furry characters from movies and TV shows. Possibly from Zootopia, VivziePop, Turning Red, and maaaaybe Thomas the Tank Engine. 🤫

This is more of a update on what my plans for drawings. I find it hard to say this but I'm deciding to take a break from digital art for now.

There are two reasons why I am making this choice. One reason is that I need to focus on my last semester in college and to be prepared to find a job after college. The second reason and the most annoying one is that the app I used to make my drawings doesn't operate anymore. I used Adobe LDraw to make my drawings in digital and as of January 2022, Adobe will not be using the app and instead using a updated version. The problem is that I use a very old iPad and I can't download the app. So in a nutshell, I am pissed at Adobe for this.

However, at the meantime I will be continuing drawings on paper and sketches. I can't guarantee I'll be posting them. On the other note, I'll be commissioning art of Railfox and his friends. This way I can still be around here and be active.

I hope to return to digital drawings once I have a new iPad and finish college. All I ask is to be patient and I will return to art again.

Hello everyone!

I have been considering this for a long time now and I think it's time for a new fursona.

Before I go into detail, I am not replacing Railfox or anything. Railfox will still be my main fursona.

Without further or do, lets get into detail. So I have been fascinated and interested with Red Pandas for a long time now. So I figured I make myself a fursona of a red panda. However, I haven't given him a name yet. I am considering MarkTheRedPanda but I still don't know about it. Let me know if you like the name. Anyway, my red panda fursona is still a ongoing project and I am trying to figure out how to draw red pandas.

This fursona would be a personal fursona rather than a character like Railfox, even though Railfox and Nelly are my personal fursonas.

Let me know what you thing of the idea in the comments, and I'll post more art soon and new refs for both Railfox and my new fursona.
