Had to completely wipe my laptop.
Posted 12 years agoSick and tired of my iTunes not working I completely wiped my laptop and had to start to manually install all the programs that got deleted. My iTunes works now (it still freezes sometimes when it's loading but the fact that it didn't even OPEN without suddenly closing on me that's an enormous improvement!) I also saved all of my documents onto an external flash drive so I didn't lose any of them!
Back from thanksgiving from my mom's also nuke journals
Posted 12 years agoBacklog ugh on a sidenote back from my mom's after spending four days there during one of those days something happened that reminded me of something Professor Layton might give Luke for a puzzle, here's how i'd put it:
You are in one section of a two section mall, it is black Friday and along with the miracle of actually finding a parking spot you note an interesting phenomenon; On the one side of the mall, as to be expected for black Friday the halls are packed with crowds of shoppers. Getting to the other section of the two-section mall you noticed far less shoppers in the hallways but just as many in the stores. The two sections have a total of five floors. Now here's the question, does one section of the mall have more shoppers then the other side?
The answer of course is no, the other side with less shoppers in the hallways has more floors then the first section. Meaning there is the same amount of shoppers on one side of the mall as there is on the other. This reminded me of a psychology experiment where kindergarten kids were shown two glasses; one tall and skinny, and the other short and wide. The kids were then asked which container held more liquid. The fact though was that both containers held the same amount of liquid and all that had changed was the way the liquid was presented!

Got a cold the day before my birthday.
Posted 12 years agoI'm....not happy. I got a cold I just know I do. I have all the symptoms. Same as all those other times! The symptoms go away in a week (shorter if I sleep in). And my birthday is tomorrow! Ugh some birthday!
I think I was robbed!
Posted 12 years agoSo I go back to my college website to remove classes from my waitlist, only to find out one of the classes I was registered for was suddenly dropped, even though I paid for it and have an e-mail receipt to prove it. Luckily I kept that e-mail, printed it out and am going to go to the school tomorrow to demand a refund since I had to pay the fee AGAIN! Very angry right now.
writing this after 4AM
Posted 12 years agoMy stepbrother threw a party, really loud but ended two hours ahead of schedule which is good.
Had a dream that would've been great if it wasn't for how it ended.
I was a combination of puzzle bobble and puzzle fighter (In other words match up the bubbles to make them bigger then pop them to damage your opponent), got in the high score list when i ended (and the game knew my name how awesome is that), then there was an indication that it sent some prize to me via my 3DS. Ooh what could it be, considering this was a dream it could've been anything from a bonus round in puzzle bobble to a bubble dragon tf, sadly I never got that far as when I informed my dad that I wanted to leave early (the people were showing game trailers that I had already seen) my dad made a wrong turn and then I had a feeling of impending doom due to this so I closed my eyes, when i opened them the car was gone, just about everything was gone except for two tornadoes. One that caught my eye had a band of cloud rings around it (which is impossible given how tornadoes work) it wasn't until I was staring at it for a few seconds that my fear reflex kicked in and I woke up....I still wonder what that bonus was that the arcade machine sent to my dream 3DS?

Crappy dull day journal
Posted 12 years agoSeems like nothing is happening today, I went out for a walk and ate out at Arby's because I had a coupon, that doesn't disappoint, and I made 11th Dan on Tekken revolution, but other then that my creative juices haven't been flowing today, I think I accidentally burned myself out yesterday when me and one of my friends were discussing plots in an ongoing RP we were doing sadly that doesn't help with the four unfinished stories I have on the back-burner (one from two years ago! The story might even be longer then that!) and I think ever since I had a small falling out with a fanfic writing group (We don't talk to each other anymore, mostly my fault, I never say hi) I just can't bring myself to write.
Another weird dream journal
Posted 12 years agoNow i'm convinced my subconscious is a borderline whack-job. I had a dream a day ago where I took on devilon (from puzzle bobble, google his name and search pictures) beat him, turned into the bub from the game and swallowed him whole....maybe some of my fetishes got mixed into my dreams? I heard that happens sometimes.
Problem resolved, weird new problem on FA
Posted 12 years agoWell fixed my error, there was a crumb lodged in my laptop now I have a new problem, when the descriptions come up if the title is long, the bottom part is cut off not allowing me to read the whole title. Is there a way to fix this? And if so how do I do it?
Power went out yesterday.
Posted 12 years agoSo I was gone yesterday because the power blew at around 9:30PM and didn't come back on until midnight. Ah well i'll just handle the flood today.
Another weird dream, i'm on a roll with these
Posted 12 years agoOk I'll make this, really short. Basically I was a roo in a race with a ton of other roos, out of nowhere I open my mouth, inhale, and begin devouring this endless sea of roos that goes right into my stomach! It's an all-you-can-eat roo buffet and I was the eater! *drools* Sadly I woke up before I could see the results of the buffet on my gut *sighs* you win some you lose some.
Weird dream stuff
Posted 12 years agoOk...so...I had a dream...where....I saw Stitch and he turned me into his twin. It was cool until my dream decided to go mind-screwy on me (kalidoscope and stuff made me dizzy until I woke up)
Has this happened to anyone else before?
Posted 12 years agoI went to a business...
I pushed on a door I was supposed to pull to open....
I need to realize just because a door has push bars doesn't always mean you have to push it....
It also clearly said 'pull' on the door itself I just didn't bother to read it until my friend pointed it out.

off to the Michigan Pinball Expo
Posted 12 years agoJust a little note, I love arcades and pinball, I only attended the Michigan Pinball expo once and I plan on continuing to go each year it's available (I've heard other states have a pinball expo as well).
Anybody have any tech knowledge I need serious help
Posted 13 years agoI'm trying to find my WEP key so I can connect my DS to it (Don't give me crap about the cable or whatever those don't exist anymore) I found how to login to my router but whenever I go into the wireless part like it asks It shows me three features and I don't know which one to go to:
Wireless network setup wizard
add wireless devise with WPS
Manual Wireless network setup.
Which of these has my WEP key?
Edit: Currently went to all three not a single one of them has my WEP key so where is it located at?

Posted 13 years agoUm can someone dig me out? Michigan had it's first over-the-top snowstorm and I got caught in the middle!
Random philosophical thought of the day
Posted 13 years agoI sometimes see the world I live in, dull, lifeless except on holidays, in my area nothing is happening except the occasional gunpoint convenience store robbery.
I look at my games and think there are similarities, the environment looks similar but there is more going on, there's more excitement, a bit of drama, granted it's like the holidays around my house the excitement doesn't last 24/7 but for quite a few hours...heck weeks in video game time, there's excitement, action, drama, and maybe a bit of love in between.
I compare the two, and then I curse the author for making such a compelling place because i'd prefer to be there then here, is there more guesswork? Yes, but at least there sometimes the only thing you need to do to get a job is talk to a random stranger...rather then go through a ton of red tape and whatnot and wait for hours on end for nobody to call.
The reason they're called fantasy worlds is because it's a place out of your fantasy, and you want to live in it.
I know that's random but I was thinking about this a lot.

A very good day today.
Posted 13 years agoWell it didn't start off well, I woke up in a complete daze and didn't feel right. However that changed as soon as I went out, first I returned all my empty bottles and pop cans with no fuss, I used that to buy me a frozen yogurt at the Costco along with some bananas (hardly any line at the checkout or food court) before that I got a haircut and didn't have to wait since the hair stylist got right with me immediately. All of that however doesn't compare to my trip to the casino, where I turned a $20 bill into a $180 profit (and left with the bill I came in with), I grabbed $205 within the span of 5 minutes (who knew i'd hit the bonus round and the progressive at the same time?) After I hit that I decided to cash out, no need to keep going when you have that kind of profit. Needed to visit the ticket redemption counter because the machine wouldn't redeem a ticket that high, after that lost twenty on one slot and decided to deposit $200 at the bank and keep the five dollar bill, so yeah all in all an excellent day today, aside from the hand cramp I have in my left hand.
birthday yesterday, and dog died.
Posted 13 years agoWell I had my birthday yesterday, since it was on thanksgiving I got the thanksgiving turkey along with my cake but personally to me, that didn't feel all that important, what is important is what happened just before I left.
It was around 6 to 6:15PM and my stepbrother downstairs starts flipping his shit. Apparently our dog frosty lost complete control of his bladder, to top things off when he was brought upstairs he couldn't stand up. I mean my stepmom Cheryl tried to put him up on four legs and he flopped straight over. Other then his sudden loss of bladder control and not being able to stand there didn't appear to be anything physically wrong with him. Cut to two days later, I come back home from visiting my mom's and my stepmom tells me Frosty is dead. Apparently there was a tumor in him and whatever happened downstairs caused that tumor to burst, he was taken to a vet who diagnosed this and they put him to sleep. It was lucky we even found a vet being that he got sick right on thanksgiving holiday.
One of my stepbrothers is completely inconsolable, to my stepsiblings that dog was part of their family. To me, I feel a big emotional disconnect, I felt surprised, but not actually sad or anything. I felt sorry for him, yes, I felt sorry for my stepsiblings, but personally I didn't feel that sad myself. Just shocked and sympathetic to my stepsiblings. Though maybe it hasn't sunk in yet. Then again I just got this dumped on me when I got back home.

Hrmm I'm a procrastinator but what do you think?
Posted 13 years agoI just got registered for my online classes for winter semester, the one I wanted was all filled up so meh, but that's not the problem, my college has....a rather short time limit to earn your degree. Seven years (at least my dad thought it was short), I'm about four years in and a little less then halfway there (need to take another three marketing courses I was going to take three at once but one of them filled up the second I could register so I got screwed on that), my only option now is...to take a spring summer course meaning that I have to do twice as much work in half the time. The first three years I went I avoided those because I was afraid I'd have a panic attack, but now I might not have much of a choice.
Your thoughts?

Relived some of my childhood today
Posted 13 years agoBack about 12 years ago before I moved to warren I lived in Utica Michigan, there I played this one shockwave game, waterballoon drop 3d, turns out they still have the game so I replayed it, heh back then I didn't know there were only nine levels. And at my level now I can beat them all no problem.
Lament of a hot head
Posted 13 years agoWell I just blew up today...verbally.
Here's the thing, I can sympathize with the death of a family member, they're your loved ones, you've lived with them etc.
However, despite fitting the same category I can't specifically sympathize with the impending death or death of a pet.
Don't get me wrong, I like pets, I adore the cats in my house, but when it comes to someone else's pet the sympathy just, isn't there. Cue a convo I had with Draco Rex a few minutes ago, remember to read the rest alright? I was...pretty harsh.
Draco Rex: my dog... i may not see him next saturday... he might be... put down
Rainbowdragon: oooh....sorry draco I don't know what to say about that
Draco Rex: i feel so wrong
Draco Rex: i mean he still seems healthy
Draco Rex: apparently he snips when my parents get near
Rainbowdragon: *shrugs* like I said I don't know what to say about that
Draco Rex: ITS MY DOG
Rainbowdragon: that's just it it's YOUR dog not MY dog, how would I know what to say about YOUR dog at a time like that any words of comfort i'd offer would either sound generic or insulting
Rainbowdragon: I can't empathize with someone unless I was in the same situation because i'd do a terrible job and make the person feel worse then before and I DON'T WANT TO DO THAT
Draco Rex: ...
Rainbowdragon: that's why I didn't want to say anything
Rainbowdragon: it's so harsh man
Rainbowdragon: sorry but i'm brutally honest when I say I don't know what to say take my word on it and don't force me
Rainbowdragon: because then I turn into an asshole
Draco Rex: ...
Rainbowdragon: again sorry
So yeah I feel awful then again when someone is screaming 'it's my dog' in your face and you're trying to tell him you'd rather not talk about that well, let's just say I get just a tad annoyed. And I did experience some deaths of some family members, a few of my aunt's passed away.

Might've had something hacked, need help now.
Posted 13 years agoI just got an e-mail from someplace called Intuit saying my order had been shipped, what's intuit? I can't access their Site so I have no idea how to cancel the order or who the freak ordered it in the first place and I don't know what to do. Help!
trojan gone, and life sucks soemtimes
Posted 13 years agoI finally got some help from this forum and got rid of the trojan, only problem now is everyday life, same sucky send in applications but nobody responds sort of deal. Ironically I saw someone else complaining about this too, heh so it's not just me, I'm not sure whether to feel relieved or terrified.
Got theatrhymics Final Fantasy
Posted 13 years agoAnd I can't stop playing it, memories of final fantast VII are staying fresh with me (can't stop playing the aeris's theme over and over again).
*whimpers* got a trojan
Posted 13 years agoWell my laptop had been acting funny, I figured i'd run spybot....and wouldn't you know it, I got a trojan. I know these are common but I have no idea where I got it from....(lucky spybot found it) now i'm freaking out a bit.
