I wanted to add a lower cost commission option to help cover my boba/little treat addiction without digging into my savings lol. I also really like working in my colored sketch style and thought I’d do a little more with it.

Anyone ever have their stuff falsely taken down for AI usage? I’m so confused??? I don’t even know WHAT submission it was, I’ll have to dig back through and see what’s missing. Kinda pissed off, I’ve never used AI in anything before, except for shits and giggles years ago before it was even involved with art.

Anyways I’m a bit mad and very very confused. Definitely writing a dispute later, never had to do this before,,

*Edit: There is ONE piece that I think may have been the culprit; I'm not finding it in my gallery but don't remember if I even posted it here. It was back before ai art became a whole issue and it was just collaging photos, and I had used it as a faint boba-themed background behind a hand-drawn piece from a now-probably-defunct app. This was back in like 2020, I don't know if the TOS changed or if I used an ai tag not knowing the effect it'd have on art in later years? Either way that's literally the only time I've ever touched anything related to ai and I dang near forgot about it. Either way, opening a ticket cause I don't want to risk getting banned for something I would've had to dig years back through my gallery to find and remove after they changed the TOS or something.

Here's to a better year than the last! My resolution is to be more socially normal (lying) and drink more water (not coffee, not energy drinks, WATER).

Anyways, I can't promise consistent art/posts like in the past, but hopefully this year it'll be limited more by how much I can draw, rather than making art and then having no mental energy to post/write up a description or tags for it and procrastinating for months on end. All of my art accounts have been a bit dead compared to where they used to be lol.

Commissions are open as usual, with new updated prices/options in my featured post. Still got a handful to catch up on after the holiday sale, I definitely put a lot more hours into each piece than I used to. ^^' Hoping to get some work-study this year so I can prioritize more personal art and projects and not have to rely on comm's and savings to pay for groceries anymore lol.

So yeah, business as usual, with hopefully some better/faster communication and posts. I also want to do more to support other artists, so I'll actually try to keep up with the submission feed, comment, maybe share some cool artists I find!

ALSO, I am looking to get a new icon for here (had this one up for years and want to freshen things up), since I have trouble getting my art to work in the 100x100 format without losing quality. :') If any artists y'all know are selling icon commission (30 USD budget), let me know!

Sorry I’ve been a little dead here, been moving for uni and hadn’t much time to draw or mental energy to post for a bit.

Thought I was falling out of the fandom until I found the school’s furry club, so there’s that lol. Legit the most chill and welcoming group I’ve met so far. So I’ll be sticking around and getting more attached to my own sona than ever

On another note, commission prices have been updated! Took me like three weeks to remember to post them. New prices both to keep up with price increases ( :( ) and to reflect the greater time and quality I want to put into my work going forward( :) ). Those will be up indefinitely, and only close for midterms/finals as far as I can tell.

I’ve also changed the formatting and options of commissions, since they were a bit confusing in the past. Flat color is now just simple shading, reference sheets also include custom character designs as an option, and traditional art is now based on paper size.

I’ll try to start posting art again soon. Even my main account (instagram) has been a bit dead. ‘^^

Pardon the art spam, there’s a lot more soon I just realized I pretty much haven’t posted since art fight lol.

Between school and work I’ve been super burnt out until recently, not able to get as much art done and only really having motivation to post on my main platform on Instagram. However, I’ve got pretty high hopes for this semester and new year, so I’m gonna try and revive this and my deviantart, and maybe start a bluesky account while I’m at it.

I’ve also been drifting away from furry-related stuff, just not as much of a part of my life as it used to be. I’ll still be attached to my sona as ever, but want to branch out into more fan art and personal projects. I’ll still be posting here! It just might be a bit more selective, my Instagram @ Cloudwyrms will have a lot more of the rest of my work.

So, bad news, my dog (normally a hyper Australian shepherd in need of running and exercise daily) injured his leg and all of the vet bills have fallen on me for the first time. This on top of the payment plan I was already working on for a hognose snake, and some issues with my car, have started piling on faster than my work hours can cover.

While I was able to cover everything so far, I'm trying to avoid dipping into savings that I need for college later down the line, so I'm opening up a free art offer with larger commissions (1 free shaded headshot or colored sketch fullbody) for every $50 spent on commissioned art! Currently re-opening commissions tentatively, as finals week is coming up soon. I’ve been in kind of a drawing craze though since I wasn’t able to as much as I used to for so long, the motivation’s kinda built up lol; if I end up getting a lot of commission interest I may periodically close just to catch up and not get too overwhelmed.

The main reason I’m doing this tho, is I’m getting my first pet reptile!!! On a payment plan for a baby hognose, and so while I’m getting things set up for the day I bring it home I’m trying to save up as much as I can. (Literally fulfilling a childhood dream of mine lol) Since it’s hard to take on extra shifts during the week without conflicting with class, commissions are the next best thing (and far, far more enjoyable lol).

So yeah, even with life as busy as it is, I’m handling it pretty well, so back to business as usual! I’m also gonna start putting up some sticker/merch designs up on redbubble (most likely monster hunter and fossil fighters related stuff) in the near future, so there’s that too lol

Pardon the lack of posts lately, or very slow replies for commissions/trades. Life's gotten busy between both working part-time and being a STEM student full-time, I basically don't get rest days or the time to draw like I used to. As a result, I've closed commissions and trades for the time being (though I'm still finishing up a bit of owed art, if any are posted to my gallery soon), but I will open them as soon as my schedule clears up a bit.

Currently focused on going back to my roots with personal art/projects/fan art, and I didn't want to get stuck in the loop of endless owed art (as much as I love doing trades and commissions and bringing other's ideas to life). I also haven't been particularly connected with the furry community for a while now, though I'm attached to my sona as much as ever. I guess I'm more of a scalie/feathery of course, but I don't want all of my art to be defined by just the anthro stuff. So there may be some changes, more of a switch to fan/personal art on other accounts, though this is still the main place I post commissions/trades.

Tl;dr, I'll be focusing less on commissions/trades from now on and more on personal projects or fan art.

I may clear out my gallery a bit, so sorry if some old posts disappear, it may just be stuff that doesn't hold up as much to my current art anymore or doesn't fit the vibe I'm going for.

From now until December 25th, all commission purchases over $50 will come with a free flat color headshot! (+1 for every additional $50 if there happen to be any particularly big purchases). In addition, any commissions bought before December 18th will be guaranteed to be finished and/or delivered (US shipping only, as International can vary) by Christmas!

There are also more affordable sketch options, and I can take on multiple commissions at once, so feel free to stock up on some character art this holiday season ^^

I may have to close commissions if I get as much as I can handle on top of finals, but I've gotten some better time management and have gotten a lot more efficient with making art more consistently, so I'll keep them open as long as I can.

There was some art I had forgotten to post, and I’ve got my commission prices updated!

Badge prices have changed slightly, shipping is now less expensive, with instead a separate option to include tracking and insurance.

Digital and reference sheet prices remain the same, I just altered some of the wording to make it a bit easier to understand, since “cell shaded” and “rendered” weren’t really the best descriptors and always brought up a lot of questions. Hopefully the overall commission process will be a bit more understandable and streamlined.

I’ll update the reference sheet price sheet soon, since it’s a bit cluttered and I have better examples now.
