Sooooo yeah, I have basically come to a screeching halt in the last few months, my bad habits taking over my free-time and my creativity, and I've finally reached the breaking point where I just simply cant keep allowing myself to be this way.
SO! I've decided on a resolution to fix that:



Im also applying this resolution to on here as well. Im aiming for at least 1-2 submissions a month, and a mandatory journal as well.

Good gahd, finally getting my rear in gear,
been inactive around here for TOO LONG!!

Ive been wanting so bad to really get back into 3D, back into music, back into making videos, but was always hitting roadblocks.
First of all ive had major software issues, and thanks to  yiffmasters that brick wall of an obstacle was broken down. :3
Then, I totally forget that the only camera tripod i'd ever used was always borrowed from my parents, and I returned that to them YEARS ago. Only TODAY did I actually get to go out and buy one for my damn camera, but it was worth every penny. :D

After a long hard day of yardwork, this was the fruit of my labor last night:

Currently working on a full-body 3D commission for  Renzey 50% Complete!

First off, Furry Connection North 2013 has GOT to be my most favorite convention yet!
I met SO many awesome people and ACTUALLY got contact information for once! XD

It was so great that my mate  felineelement FINALLY got her fursuit and she went totally cute-crazy running around with the picture-frame I suggested for her as a photo-op-prop :3

I hung around with  sharpe19 and  pizzawolf here and there, mostly fan-boy-gasming over Sharpe's AMAZING suits and basically BEGGING to see if I could get one from her ^^;
I was just so glad that Sharpe was so understanding and even happy to listen as I jabbered away about what I'd love to have.
Even better that if I can save up I should have one before the next FCN!! *asplodes* X3

The Variety Show this year was fantastic despite the guy in charge  alkalibismuth
being handed the responsibility of the panel getting caught totally off-guard, with it being crammed,
into a tiny TINY room off to the side of the main ballroom, and without ANY audio equipment WHATSOEVER.
I really have to hand it to Alkali, Gary the Piano Guy and all the other folks that helped actually ASSEMBLE what little sound equipment we were handed at the last minute.
Every act brought its own flavor to the stage, and it was DEFINITELY my highlight of the whole convention. ^.=.^

Ok then, for those of you that actually feel like reading more I guess i'll fill y'all in on some stuffs ive been doing recently. (Ya know, cus' I can :P )

After being screwed out of two simultaneous jobs all due to one dumb foot injury (dont worry it wasnt anything serious) roughly 2 months ago, I finally got a new job thanks to a friend-of-a-friend, and I have to say, even though its a job of manual labor its probably the easiest job ive had so far heh ^^;

But anyway!

I don't want to jinx it but I maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay be moving into my very own place soon with 2 certain peeps that will remain nameless for now... <,<
(of course, ive been moved out of my parents house for years but have been living with extended family on and off for the last 3 for college...)

I think if finally come to that point that im comfortable in my new workplace, getting along with mostly everyone, and getting into routine. For the longest time while I was job-hunting of course i'd have all the free time in the world, but 90% of the time i'd be staring blankly at my computer screen slack-jawed and drooling. (though hey, everyone does that from time to time am-i-rite? XD )

A little side-note about my commission-work experience so far,

Ive come to realize a lot of things I had never thought of before, and I wont lie about how it took me waaaaaay longer than I had initially planned... <___<;

Back in April, FCN was AMAZING. (Yet ive been so lazy I haven't posted any pictures or videos I took). Jammed and sung my heart out playing Rock Band, got wasted and raved' the night away with  felineelement and had all sorts of fun. ^.=.^

I FINALLY got a new job working at KFC so that I wont have to move back in with my parents (WOOOOOT!!!)

Saw the midnight-release of the Avengers with a bunch of friends including  wolfemasters and  mike-son which was probably the most AWESOME movie ive ever seen in theaters, only comparable to the first time I saw the first Pirates of the Caribbean, and it STILL managed to be better :D

I had just spent the most amazing New Years Eve weekend with my girlfriend  felineelement
and she had left on monday. That night, I was on my way home from band practice
with my electronic drum kit in the back of my car. I was driving on this desolate trek between my house
and my bandmates' and the road was covered in the fresh powder that had been falling most of the day.

The radio was playing garbage so i became bored and switched it off. Usually I have music playing
to keep me entertained and maybe even sing along with, but not this time...
just about half way I get this impulse to attempt a fishtail on purpose... no reason,
save for that ive never been driving when one has happened and have always
been curious if I could handle myself...

(I have probably been in about 10 car accidents prior to this, none of which I was the driver)

so without a second thought I decide to accelerate and pitch my wheel to one side,
In one moment i was already sliding out of control... and like any rookie driver i stomped on the brakes promptly locking the wheels up and sending myself into the ditch heading directly for a road sign.

stupid. stupid. STUPID.

Drifting at an alarming rate towards the road sign, I couldn't react, i could think,
so i shut my eyes bracing myself for impact.

One jolting CRUNCH and a spray of glass later, and i found myself diagonally in the ditch, the driver-side window completely destroyed, the road sign ripped clean off of its stake in the ground underneath me.

I started screaming in my head and out my mouth "oh my god, oh my god" and all I could think about was what my parents were going to do to me, the money it would take to repair it, and how mad they would be...

Some random guy had pulled up at this point and i was trying get myself out of the door and stand up. Of course, my legs were like jello and I felt like I wanted to puke.
I waved him off saying "im ok..." in the most pathetic remorseful voice I turned back to the car to see almost the whole driver-side door had dented in, and the handle had been ripped clean off.... "OhhHhHhh Fuuuuuuuuuuck...."

I guess the guy was trying to lighten the situation...
he said "So how tight is your butthole right now?"
Shaking like a leaf I turned back to him
"heh.... ....t-t-tight e-enough to squease a terd out my m-mouth...

He stood there for a bit I guess he was waiting... I got back in my car and said I would try driving it out of the ditch, and with a little back and forth I was out easily.

I thanked the guy for stopping and he left.

Calling my parents went exactly the way you would imagine,
they weren't worried about the car, they just kept asking if I was ok and thank God I wasn't hurt...

It wasn't till about a quarter of the way home with the cold air blowing through the nonexistent window that it hit me...

I could have DIED in that little accident...
that one little impulse could have KILLED me....
the road sign could have taken my face off or my throat cut by the glass as I slammed into it...
maybe even had my arm or shoulder taken off at least...
but somehow I walked away without a scratch...

What started as a routine trip could have ended my life and only then did I really realize it. WHY had I been so stupid???

I was bored

well all in all,
150$ for a new door later and all was forgiven..

im just lucky to be alive and well

After my last bout with Minecraft, my spirits were low and I was in utter defeat

The spawning point in The End on my world was created out over the void where I couldn't reach the mainland, resulting in half a months' hard work in diamond armor and items lost.
I cannot build a bridge because the Enderdragon knocks me off before I can get across

I hate to give criticism to a game I love so much, but G** D**m IT.....
this ONE thing had to generate wrong and now I cant finish the game unless I start all over from block one

HOW could a glitch THIS bad happen???

It was the one thing ive been working towards since 1.0 released, to finish the survival mode legitimately without hacking, (which I WAITED to make a new world for over a month... and i realize this is mostly venting but i dont give a F***)

I love Minecraft, really I do...
like one of my all time favorite fantasy novels, you get caught up in it all...
but what happened to me is like the last chapter you get a peek at the first page, and the rest is torn out and scrawled in big black lettering:
"SORRY BUT THE ENDING IS IN ANOTHER CASTLE"

On a side-note, my addiction to Minecraft has led me to ignore my loved ones and turned my attitude sour. Ive let the game take up any and all free time since it was released, and now regret my behavior for the past half of a month.

So im asking ANYONE out there with knowledge of how to make a Minecraft server,

Both me and my girlfriend (  felineelement ) have tried in the past, and haven't been able to figure it out. One problem I ran into is since im using a Verizon HotSpot modem for internet, i cant program it to send/receive server data. and FelineElement had a similar problem...

Also, both of us are tight for money (lol who isn't these days) so we cant exactly pay for server space....

If anyone could help us out you would be more than welcome on the server once its up and running (if not we could some to sort of agreement for compensation... but lets get to that later)

(ya know, for those who give a crap)
(warning, sob-story-rant ahead XP )

Since school ended ive been busting my scaly butt working at an ice factory the ENTIRE summer, seriously, TODAY was the first full day everyone has had off in more than a MONTH x.=.x;

You may think that "oh its an ICE factory, must be nice to escape the heat"
but you'd be WRONG XP
the ONLY part of your body that gets cold is your hands from hauling 50 tons of ice around all day (and forget about gloves cause you sweat so much and get wet from the ice its like trying to work wearing soggy rags)

Well there IS the time at the end of the day where we have to shovel excess snow out of the freezer.... so i guess you kinda get to cool off...

Theres also the times when an unstable stack of ice falls and we have to spend a good hour in the freezer cleaning stuff up, so then we're begging for the heat ^^;

(on a plus side at least all the manual labor got me back into shape lol)

and aside from the mind-numbing workload,
my familys old cat has decided to name MY room its new "litter box"
and yes, the catbox IS clean and yes, he's just an old bag-o-bones... but noone wants to put him down :p

in other news...

Sadly enough, I dont have enough funds to return back to CCS in the fall (RLY FUCKING EXPENSIVE AWESOME SCHOOL) so i'll be still stuck at my familys house taking classes at a local community college for transfer credits (which is what i should have done in the FIRST place x_x; )

At least I still have my music... been playing in a local band on and off for a while now, might post a link sometime later

1) I had a crush on Sally Acorn back when the Sonic comics and cartoon were GOOD X3

2) I love MineCraft, and always dig stuff up like crazy... but always have a hard time coming up with projects to build ^^;

3) I HATE beer and so did my grampa.... till' he turned 50... now he LOVES it! (wonder if thats what i'll be like... <,< )

4) I shamelessly organize my 'furry' folder into sub-categories XD

5) I LOVE S.C.U.B.A. diving! :D

6) The first song I ever learned how to play all the way through on guitar was Basket Case by Green day ^.=.^ \m/

7) I don't like competitive sports... but I DO like working out.... (though recently with my school schedule it's been impossible) XP

8) Oddly enough, the ONE time I got "badly" injured was my high school freshman year I tried football... and it was a broken & dislocated PINKY.... from doing passing drills before a game :p
(I had never caught footballs in practice before and was trying to catch from our iron-armed quarterback) x_x;

9) I always have a weird feeling when im walking by myself that either someone is gonna jump out, or a car is gonna veer off the road and hit me.... o_o;

5: Rock Band + Guitar Hero (both series as a whole)
Fun, Addictive, Awesome, :D
Theres something so satisfying about playing games with music you love (and each of these guys has their share of em) but of course half the time theres songs that people don't like, but to me, that enhances the multiplayer experience by making it REALISTIC. I mean, in a REAL band of course people will be arguing over what song to play because of musical taste or difficulty. Also, with the introduction of the "pro" modes for guitar, drums, and keyboard (RB3) your skills actually translate onto ACTual instruments (im living proof for drums :D )
Just wait, soon enough these games will become powerful tools for musicians to learn and write material.... cant say if im for or against it though.... ^^;

4: Portal (Orange Box)
Ok, this is SO MUCH MORE than a puzzle game, its one of those experiences that sticks with you long after its over and keeps you coming back again.
True, its a short game, (roughly 2-3 hours) but if you ask me, thats one of the aspects that makes it so damn good. You don't have to spend days and days plugging away at it to get far, and you don't need hours and hours of practice to get good at it. The level design and pacing help anyone pick up on the mechanics VERY quickly and the guys at Valve did everything "Just Right" if you don't enjoy Portal then theres probably something wrong with you :p (I cant WAIT for the sequel next year!!! :D )

3: Team Fortress 2 (Orange Box)
Fun, addictive, and downright whimsical when peeps dont have their panties in a bunch
Whats really great in my opinion is how well the art style and the character design are so well-matched to the personalities of the different classes, i mean, seriously, I could easily watch a movie of just those characters interacting, yay chemistry! XD (of course there are TONS of hillarious and awesome parodies im sure most peeps that know the game have seen, ex: "Moments with Heavy", "YEAH TOAST", etc etc)

2: Metal Gear Solid 1-3 (havent played 4 :< )
By far, one of the greatest game franchises of all time if you ask me (HANDHELD GAMES DO NOT COUNT) but really, the edge-of-your-seat game play and stealth mechanics make these a great game for any sneaky strategist. Of course, the action and boss battles are just as great, each having a certain weakness you need to use your head to exploit. The scope of the story is HUGE but nonetheless EPIC, your classic tale of a reluctant hero in his struggle to accomplish the mission, met by insurmountable odds, betrayal, and sacrifice...
(i WISH i could play the 4th one XP XP XP)

1: Legend of Dragoon (PS1)
To me, this game will ALWAYS be a classic game in my eyes. The epic storyline, unique battle mechanics, and just how it takes you on a journey through the fantasy landscape with its atmospheric environments, interesting characters, and how it compels you to keep going, finding out what will happen next.
Of course, this game got a lot of bad rap as being a "FF7 clone" but it has NOTHING AT ALL in common, aside from the same PS1 graphics that outside of battle make the sprites look a bit chunky. The battle mechanics, of course being RPG-style targeting and menu clicking, add on a fun attack mechanic called Additions, which are physical moves unique to each character that have you mashing the X button in time with each hit until the move is complete, and adding more and more damage with each hit. And when your opponent blocks, you need to instead hit the O button just in time to counter. The moves can take a while to master but its SO satisfying to pull off the master Additions (upwards of 7 hits in one move!).
One AWESOME feature is that later on the first disk (yes its one of those games) your main character gets the ability to transform into a Dragon-Knight / Dragoon in battle... ok... yeah... its freaking kickass and you get to unleash crazy-powerful physical and magic attacks too, only downside is it only lasts a few turns (depending on your level) and your magic needs to be replenished, but its WELL worth it!
I can imagine you'd be kinda skeptic about it being a PS1 game, but hey, if you ask me it has a lot more substance then most HD-Graphic games today (sheesh, now i feel old ^^; )
Now, at 4 disks in length, you really find yourself investing a lot of time to playing, but in my opinion its time well spent on a game as good as this. Plus, THERES DRAGONS!! :D what more reason do you need??? ^.=.^
