I Guess Wipe It All?
Posted 2 years agoJust the recent news that everyone knows by now. Just guess gonna have to wipe it all. Not that I was uploading here anymore anyway. But figures the moment I do finally... this happens.
https://inkbunny.net/Raukue
https://e621.net
Can still find me on InkBunny. Can find my stuff on e621 as well though account needed these days for that.
Guess am not much elsewhere. Don't see what other sites are out there and always a hassle to mass upload and all that. So for those somehow unaware and think I have no drawn in decades... you been missing out. This site sure makes other furry sites grow, huh? If others do follow through and leave as they will say. Or if this is like that old CoD boycott meme.

Dead Island on PC Anyone?
Posted 10 years agoI got Dead Island Collection on PC recently when it went on sale last week... surprise it's on sale again for about another day. Wish I could play with a friend of mine in which we played Dead Island 1 on PS3 together for our first time. Normally I like to play a game solo for my 1st time so I can go at my own pace and not miss anything, my pace is normally slow. I broke that rule with this friend because it was his 1st time too, think that is the only time I might break that rule of mine.
Am not making any promises but... much like my Borderlands posts, never hurts to find someone to play with down the road, might make a new friend. Hell one of my closest friends, the one I played Dead Island 1 only with... I met through asking to find someone to play Red Dead Redemption with and all. Always nice to make a new good close friend.
So just looking out there and all. Find someone to play Dead Island 1 with... as for Riptide, which I have not played... dunno about that, feel that again, I would only with that good friend whose 1st time it will be as well. Dead Island will always forever remind me of him... just a shame he cannot get the games on PC at this time.
Dunno if I am missing anything else on what to say about all this... but just comment and ask away. Just usually my time schedule would be late at night, around midnight US time.

Borderlands 1 on PC
Posted 12 years agoI don't think this will work out well but here it goes... looking for someone to play Borderlands 1 on PC.
So I recently got Borderlands 1 on PC. I already played it through on PS3 but wanted it on PC as well. I wanna play it with this buddy who newly got it but our times seem to clash. By the time I wake up it is already midnight for him. So I dunno when we will be able to play together. Hard for me to wanna sleep and wake up early enough but suppose I may try.
Anyway just wondering... anyone else new to Borderlands all together? Like not even played Borderlands 2? I wanna find someone who is new to play Borderlands 1 with on PC. Just I dunno, is nice to be around for someones first time with a game. But at the least I would like to find someone who played it as much as me, which was just enough to beat the game 1 time. I never played the new game+ mode or anything else. I feel those who have, would know the game better than me and thus rush through it faster.
To further explain on that, I tend to not play games too fast. It always feels others play faster than me at games. So I don't wanna play with someone who is impatient, greedy and just bum rushing the game. I wanna play with someone who is at my pace... who doesn't, right?
So... looking for those who are new to Borderlands or played it half way or 1 time to the end... something. On PC and such. And of course someone who will enjoy the game. If you love collecting loot then chances are you will enjoy the game. That is a big draw of the game there and its addicting factor right there.

Who Loves Batman Arkham Games?
Posted 12 years agoI do. So I got into a Batman Arkham kick recently. Replayed through Batman Arkham City, last time I played was Dec 2012. Good stuff. I am actually trying to 100% it this time. I did all the ranked challenges now need to do the campaign challenges.
So yeah I do want Batman Arkham Origins on PS3 but eh don't think I'd be able to get it as soon as I'd like but... oh well.
But yes what I love about the game is the combat. LOVE the combat. I may not be too good at it, just about average, but I still love it. I feel that is what made these games as popular and highly rated as they are really. And the few that don't seem to care for the combat then love the predator stuff, being the stealth. Which I have found myself enjoying more than before. Good stuff. Also LOVE the collecting of Riddler trophies. I like that in any game when done right. I just hope Origins has such a thing or else that would be a bit of a let down.
Anyway I make this journal to ask who loves the Batman Arkham games? Also who has them on the PS3 console? I look at my leaderboard friend list and no one is on my list which means no one on my list owns them or never bothered with the challenges. So I dunno. Have others to compare scores to on there? Though I am not the best so if you are all godly I won't be of any challenge to you. Heh. Be sure to be on PS3! Be nice if we have other games in common that we enjoy but yeah...
So tell me what you love about the Batman Arkham games and if you are any good at any of it?

Red Dead Redemption Online ( PS3 )
Posted 12 years agoSo I been playing RDR for about the past month and finally completed both that and Undead Nightmare. Still a bit to do to get some more trophies and all but seem easy enough. I had did a few of them.
Anyway I suppose I should try out the online. I have a bit but have had no luck. You see I don't normally play games online. Cause I know I will suck and well I am shy to play with strangers. But just going from my bit of experience last night... yeesh. No one works as a team, everyone trying to do their own thing... and just treat it as a deathmatch.
The few times I have played games with others they just treat it as a deathmatch. Don't matter how many features or things you can do.... deathmatch treated. Even in a team based game like Awesomenauts, the few matches I played... I always see others treating it as a deathmatch, never going after the other teams turrets even though many openings present itself for such a thing.
The recent GTA 5 online trailer, if anyone saw, seems like it will have a variety of things to do in it... and yet... most are gonna treat it like a deathmatch only anyway... eh?
Anyway... I make this journal to see if I can find others to play RDR online with and such. On Playstation 3. So if anyone has RDR for PS3 and cares to play with me... just drop your PSN in the comments or PM or something as well as your own input about anything.
Just wanna be sure I play with those who are nice and good and all that. Who like to do more than just deathmatch. Be nice if we have the same taste in games too. And it helps to have a mic/headset so we can talk as well. It also helps if you play late after midnight, US time, as that is when I tend to play.

Gaming: Self Improve and Map Memory
Posted 12 years agoJust a random journal about a thought in my head. I don't make jouranls too often but sometimes I feel it can be good.
I am wondering, how many of you play games and try or wish you could be better at that game?
To better detail that, to wanna be better just for yourself? Meaning in single player games. I know people want to be better in multiplayer and be able to win most the time, but I am not meaning that.
Do you play a game and just wanna know that you can play it pretty well? No one to compete with or anything but just know that you are good at it? Be it a game like Metroid, Zelda or what game made me think of this recently, Batman Arkham Asylum. I love the combat in that game, it's so good... I am just not too good at it. Getting that flow going and getting high combos just feels so good to me but... yeah. I feel as if I cannot get any better. I suppose I would have to put in many hours. Having mainly spent most the time playing the story mode and replaying it, it is probably why I am not any better. Combat is spaced apart too much. There are indeed the challenge maps which is where one would improve of course. I played those somewhat and realize I have to play those to get better at it, but it is so discouraging for me as I continue to fail at it. I suppose one has to put many hours of practice to improve, some more than others. I feel my learning curve is pretty slow and I reach a certain peak and cannot get any higher while others continue to get better than my level.
That first part I decided to add as extra. I mainly wanted to make a journal about map memory in games but thought I'd add the other thing as well.
In games like Grand Theft Auto, how good are you at memorizing the map?
By that I mean are you able to get to a location without relying on the mini-map or overhead map? For me, and probably many, with games like that, you end up knowing the city just by the mini-map rather than what you see in front of you, building and street wise. I only mention a game like GTA because smaller or linear maps like on Batman AA or Bioshock, of course you memorize the map more easily and it's locations, because of them being smaller or more simple.
So yeah I dunno. A journal to see how others are with games in those aspects. If someone is able to memorize a big cluttered map like in GTA and if one plays and wishes to be better at a game just because they want to, for themselves, not to beat another. As for me, as I think I mentioned, I do wish I could be better at games just for myself, know that I can be good. And I am unable to memorize maps like in GTA and I rely too heavily on the mini-map. But maybe with both, it requires just hours and hours of play.

Friendly Reminder: Ink Bunny

Just a reminder for those who have yet to look at my Ink Bunny. I make this journal now because of how I have uploaded 3 new pictures on there that cannot be on here, and about 3 that are a bit older. Note you have to be signed in and enable to see adult work, just like FA.
So if you enjoy some Tails, Spike or Veemon, go take a look. I wonder if it is even ok to make a journal to say go look at my Ink Bunny and all.

Rain Rain Go Away. No Borderlands 2 Today.
Posted 13 years agoI dunno. Bit bored. It is raining here, thunderstorms and the power goes out WAY too easily in this house. I was playing on my PS3 as the power went out. I mean yeesh. I don't play my PS3 and it's calm and quiet. The moment I turn on my PS3 to play, thunder starts to rumble. It's like I am being told "Don't you dare play your PS3".
Yeah, my TV and PS3 and of course PC are in a surge protector. Still, I feel that can't be good for the PS3 and such to shut off suddenly in the middle of play like that. So I guess no more PS3 for me today. Tonight? I dunno. The blasted weather site is all inaccurate to say Cloudy, only to change it to T-Storm a few minutes later. On the whole, hourly forecast. So yeah... I dunno.
I got Borderlands 2 on PS3, as I said in past journals. Been playing that. But as of yesterday, nope. Because of the rain. Today I tried and well, what I just said there just happened. But man... do I suck in there. The aiming is TERRIBLE.
Now for a small rant...
Borderlands 2 on consoles, at least on PS3, the aiming is BAD. It feels as if all console games that having aiming, do aiming ALL WRONG! It's like they settle for good enough and leave it alone. No more thought or effort into it. It feels like there is no prescaled smooth aim going on. It seems to skip around too much. Too much jerking. When I play Doom 1 or 2 on my PC, there is this option that says "pre-scale mouse movement" and I turn that on, it makes it move smoothly. I turn it off and it is too jerky. So I believe that is what is going on in Borderlands 2 on consoles.
Now some of you may think, it is the PS3 controller. That may be part of it... but not all of it. I have played Saints Row 2 and 3 on my PS3 and the aiming is PERFECT. I mean it is very smooth and accurate. Probably the best implemented aiming system on a console game. I was able to headshot and all that so easily. But every other game I have tried on consoles... Uncharted, Resistance, Killzone, Bioshock, Dead Space, inFamous, GTA IV... pretty much all of them do it WRONG. Now that I think about it, I think they all lack that pre-scaled movement or something.
So yeah... I dunno. I have turned off Aim-Assist in Borderlands 2. That is another thing they do wrong. It is very noticable. In other games, I know they have it, but you can't really tell. I think it slows down once on a target and sticks a bit. But Borderlands 2, just like in the first game, it is like a magnet and sticks too much, and if another target gets in the way, it will move off your aim. Plus it keeps trying to aim at their chest, making headshots harder to pull off. I kept turning it on and off and I dunno. I am so terrible at aiming, mostly when someone is way up close. Just... bad. Mostly that too much jerking around or something... bah.
So anyway I dunno. For those who have the game on console, do you turn off Aim Assist? As well as your thoughts about anything else I have said here.
An Orgy and You

There are only 3 slots left. Number 9, 13 and 14. I don't know if I can fill 13 or 14 as it seems only small characters might only be able to fit, like a Pikachu or Pichu. But number 9 there is up for grabs to anyone who wants it.
Anyway it's all in that journal there, hopefully you can see the image showing the numbered spots if you are not signed up/in.

Borderlands 2 Buddies? ( PS3 )
Posted 13 years agoPlaystation 3.
So I am wondering if I should get Borderlands 2 on release or wait awhile for a price drop and eh... as usual hype gets to a person and makes one want it ASAP. So yeah I mean, wonder if I should also try to find/make friends who are also going to get it for PS3.
Just the thing with that is that we both have to be available. Someone told me just make a character for solo and another for multiplayer. But I wonder if I'd bore/tire of the game more by replaying the same parts over and over.
The other thing is that I couldn't go at my own pace? Which is normally rather slow. The first Borderlands I only played by myself, I enjoyed it. But when I watch a stream of 2 guys playing it, locally at that so it was split-screen, just makes it seem more exciting to play with someone. But part of my OCD kicks in wondering if I would screw things up with my character and some mission or item or I dunno.
Just yeah... I dunno. Not many I know who have a PS3, or who prefer PS3 at that, or they don't plan on getting the game, or getting it for PC or 360 and eh yeah... hmm.
So I wonder... should I play with a friend for my first time and all that? Or at all or what? I dunno. A bleh journal I guess here.
How maybe trying to find someone to play it with since seems everyone I know is getting it for PC or 360. Maybe get to know them before doing so.

A Reminder To You All
Posted 13 years agoJust a reminder for those who are still unaware that I have an Ink Bunny and SoFurry. Where the images tend to be bigger and see sketches and other such.
They are of the same name as here, Raukue. Found on the front page of my FA, under Contact Information.
Also on a side discussion, I been in such a gaming drought. Doesn't it suck when you don't feel like playing a game. I haven't felt like playing games for over a month. I still have games I have but haven't played. How I have barely felt like replaying games I already finished. Just playing a game I already played, I can do it more properly, neatly and more efficient. Because you know what is ahead and can plan better, rather than waste items or whatever else since you were not prepared the first time.
Though I have been gaming somewhat I guess, how I know I should just load up the game and start playing, I might feel like it then, but easier said than done. Usually go with that feeling I feel about it right now. I started up a game or two earlier that I didn't feel like it, and I got into them. One new to me and another I already played. So... yeah. Just always hard to bring myself to just start up the game.
It seems I can't get addicted to any game. Not the bad kind of addicted but you know, just that game you can always pick up and play. Seems everyone has at least that 1 game they never get tired of playing. But for me, the mood has to be there. I get into a game mood, like Zelda mood for a month at most, usually half that, before I tire of that game series and don't feel like it anymore. Have to wait months, even a year, before that mood comes back. It kind of sucks. I was playing Doom for awhile to memorize and become more pro but that barely lasted a month and I think that feeling has passed now.

PS3 Gamers. Shall We Swap Cu...
Posted 14 years agoI dunno. I feel I should add and make some friends on PSN... but also on IM. So if you are a PS3 gamer, you main your PS3 and all, then we might just swap PSN names.
I figure I should add some guidelines to it though because otherwise might end up adding mostly those who do not share the same games or tastes.
1. PSN and IM Swap
If we swap PSN names, we should swap IM names as well. A game is more fun when we are friends and not strangers. This should be done through PM unless you don't mind saying your PSN and IM in the comments.
2. Share The Same Taste ( Refrain from talking about the game as to avoid spoilers )
It helps to have the same taste in games as well. I have most PS3 only games that PS3 owners probably own. I think it is most... well just enough. Games I have and like...
- Uncharted series
- inFamous
- Darksiders
- Saints Row
- GTA
- Borderlands
- etc. / Can't think of others to name at the moment.
3. Have a Variety of Taste
To have a variety of taste in games also helps. To only be into FPS games, shooters and all... though I enjoy them, I am not only about them. I want someone who is a real gamer and not a Gramer/Bro Gamer (google those terms). Who basically only seem to enjoy FPS games and can't enjoy platform games, retro games, rpg and the what not... that is not for me. I don't mean to offend by any of that though.
4. Refrain From Spoilers
Yeah I do not like spoilers. So please always be sure and ask if I have played a game and if I played it all the way or got all endings and what not. I do the same in return, I will ask if you have played a game before talking about it.
5. Enjoy Games. Love Them. Talk About Them. Sales. Deals. ( Addicted? Maybe no... )
I guess part of that goes without saying but still... I say it. Gotta like games, enjoy them, love talking about them and sharing. Just I dunno how to say but... hopefully not be addicted to a game. Like there are those addicted to WoW for example or SL just... yeah. Those I know addicted to such games, I never get to talk to them. They are always on those games so they never talk to or even play other games. So... yeah. Those unhealthy addiction to games is usually not a good thing when wanting a friendship and to be able to play other games.
Yeah I dunno... that is all I can think of to say now. I may add more later as it comes to my attention. Though my PSN might be obvious, it is still polite to PM first and all that. I hope I didn't sound too bad in this journal, I am bad at explaining things and well I didn't want to just do a "Hey add me on PSN anyone!" because that just leads to not ever talking or knowing someone. It is like the few times I played a MMO and made a friend in there, it still felt like a stranger and we don't end up talking after awhile anyway.
So yeah I mean... anything you wanna say, like games you like, your favorite genre of game, and I dunno... all that stuff.
Will likely re-post this journal for those who overlook journals, which I can't blame anyone. Too many useless journal just to say something silly, how it is only 3 words just to be silly... so I can't blame others for not looking at journals.

PS3 Headset. Which To Choose? (Bluetooth)
Posted 14 years agoSo I am finally considering to get a PS3 Headset (Bluetooth) but as usual, when I am looking to buy something I never had any experience with before, I dunno which to go with.
Obviously the official Sony brand feels safest but a bit steep at $50. The top other 2 that are 3rd party is the Gioteck Ex-01/02 and the Turtle Beach Ear Force PBT. Those being at $25, though the Turtle Beach one only that price from Amazon.
Just even though there are more positive reviews, there are those low reviews that say the sound is not good, the mic gives out at some point or this and that.... even on the official Sony brand, so it makes me worry that I might have the same issues.
Anyway... the links to them. I hate how I am so unsure and there aren't really many or any reliable reviews out there.

No Furs Around South TX?
Posted 14 years agoLike... really. Seems like no furs down here. Well I mean I know there are furs around just... I guess not online or something. Just seems like you can only find furs in major cities.
Small journal, I dunno. Just wonder if anyone is around here or knows someone who is down here and all.
texasfurs
Since I can't catch every shout on there and all, might be easier to make a journal.

Video Games: Inverted or Non-Inverted?
Posted 14 years agoHeh what I find weird is how people can make such a big deal over a little thing like this... and how I read those who are non-inverted, how they can't seem to comprehend it for some reason, like their brain cannot process this information... wonder why that is? Though I know not everyone is like that but they sure come off as confused and also a bit of an ass about it too.
Anyway... yeah. I just wanna know two things here I guess, maybe more I dunno... depends.
1. Are you inverted or non-inverted? ( Video game consoles. Y-axis )
2. I am use to inverted. Think I should try to adjust and get use to non-invert controls?
Just heh yeah... I dunno. I tried for a bit recently, haven't been gaming much at the moment though. I think I started getting use to it. I wonder if I will end up being a better player if I get use to non-invert controls.
Another thing I notice is that people say inverted is meant for aircraft which of course makes sense in all our minds it seems... yet... those use to non-invert still can't comprehend it when it comes to 3rd or 1st person, playing a character. In a way, inverted is the normal for aircraft so... hmm.

Video Games: Long or Short Sittings?
Posted 14 years agoI don't know why but I have started to think about playing a new game how is it better to do a long sitting, you know, play for 5 hours or so and try to beat it ASAP, or is it better to do short sittings, about 1-4 hours?
I am unsure about how I feel about this but pretty sure short is better for me. I feel short sittings are better for me with a new game. I feel it stretches the game out and makes me reflect on what I just played. It makes things more memorable. Even though you stop playing, you are still thinking about it, what went on and what might be ahead and it is still like you are playing it in your head.
Before I even was thinking about any of this, I just played about 3-4 hours because I wanted to treat my new consoles with care... but now I don't mind going up to 6 hours. So I just wasn't thinking about how long I should play a game. But I figure it is maybe better to play for as long as I feel until I start to lose focus because then I won't remember things as much.
I wonder what any of you think. Does a game touch you regardless if you rushed through it or not? Or is it not as memorable because you didn't take your time with it? Sure even if you rushed through a game and enjoyed it, do you think you would've enjoyed it more if you stretched it out more? Maybe this creates nostalgia.... those memories you get with a game that weren't there before but in thought give you this good yet somehow sad feeling, hard to explain.
But this is only with my first time playing a game. I think when I play it a second or third time then it doesn't matter as much how long or short I play it each sitting.

Super Nostalgia RPG
Posted 14 years agoNot of me to make a journal about nothing... did it one time before about my nostalgia with Pokemon ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1063110/ ) and now... Super Mario RPG.
That game, Super Mario RPG, is my 2nd most nostalgic game of all time. I loaded it up for a bit and man... yeah such memories that game. The graphics... music... memories...
It is just hard to describe the feeling for me other than saying those things, the memories I built with that game when I was a kid and all. I mean... it makes me feel so sad and yet feel good... that is what nostalgia is after all, I suppose.
Anyway just wanted to share that. I need more gamer friends to talk games with.... heh. That know about games, talk games and all that... variety of games too and played old games such as that.

A Little Something About Comments
Posted 15 years agoI want to say I read them yes. I mean I think every artist does... it is just I don't usually know what to say in return. It usually depends on the comment made of course. But I just want to let you all know I read them and appreciate them and just because I don't say anything back does not mean I didn't bother to look at it. Again I think that is the case with anyone who submits things but I just want to let you all know.
Thank you for the comments. Don't know what else to say about this but it feels short and empty to just leave things like this. Feel free to share your thoughts about this sort of thing.

A Friend In Need of Help
Posted 15 years ago[ORGY] You In A Picture! [CLOSED]
Posted 15 years ago[CLOSED]
Do YOU Want To Be In An Orgy Picture?:
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1716898/
Price: $15 for your character.
That journal there explains mostly of what this is about. Now for some more details. Things you should tell me. Try to tell me all of this in comments except number 5.
Please try to respond in this number format so I know which number you are talking about. Example: 1.) I am in for sure.
1.) If you are in, PLEASE SAY SO! I don't want to get to drawing it and you back out. Look at number 5 and 6 for more details.
2.) Your characters name and link to a reference picture and give any details necessary. I wouldn't want to make a mistake on your character after all. Colors as well if there is no color to go by.
3.) Your position, such as Top or Bottom? Both? Either one, don't matter? Be clear on which, I wouldn't want to put a cock up your butt if you do not want it.
4.) Any particular act? Giving oral/anal or receiving? Rimming? Pawing off watching the others? Anything you DON'T want being done to your character? ( NO Scat, Watersport, Gore, Vore or anything out there. )
5.) Note me that you want to be in and where to send the money in which I will note back saying where. Tell me what name or e-mail I should be aware of so I know it is you who paid (The email/name used for PayPal) , I wouldn't want to leave someone out.
Try to send it as a "Gift" if possible, so there is no loss of money on my end due to PayPal fees. But if you fear you have done that too much then whichever one has a smaller fee?
6.) I don't how the payment is going to work, helps to pay ahead of time I would guess and I guess force me to get right to it. But I dunno if everyone should put down just a $5 payment at first and then when I got the sketch all done, pay the other $10... how does that sound?
7.) How many characters in the picture (As in the orgy, not meaning your character)? That all depends on how many join up. But at the least there will be 5 characters, probably 6 on average, if enough people join, per picture.
If twice as many join then that becomes 2 pictures probably but then a bonus 3rd with everyone in it though FA would size down and I'd have to post it on SoFurry or something so you can see the larger image. What do you think?
Dunno what else I am leaving out but feel free to comment on anything I should take note of and I will edit it here. I gotta snap to it and stop being so lazy... heh.
Note: Anything you don't mention specifically is not my fault. Either I assume you don't care what position you are in or anything else like that. Communication is key!
List so far: ( Of those most likely interested. )
1.)

gprime312 ( PAID )Do YOU Want To Be In An Orgy Picture?
Posted 15 years agoThe picture WILL be full COLOR!
So this was an idea suggested to me in which I make a color picture and anyone who wants to be involved pays for their character to appear. So is this a good idea? Anyone would be interested?
The charge will be $15 for your character.
I am thinking maybe up to 5 characters per picture, maybe more but FA's size down and I'd have to use an outside link to the larger image.
So anyone who is interested leave a comment on here and maybe link to your character and give any ideas for the theme or what you'd want to be doing in the picture.
Details:
Price: $15 ( for each person wanting to be involved )
Note that I am not too good with full big bodies and can only do smaller chibi bodies usually so... yeah. You'd end up being chibi looking most likely.
NOTE: This is a pre-journal and is to see who is interested and give it that time. Be sure to keep an eye for another journal about this which will have the slots and more detailed information.
The picture WILL be full COLOR!

Pokemon Battles. The Essentials?
Posted 15 years agoFirst off I am aware of Smogon.
http://www.smogon.com/
So yeah... this is a journal about choosing Pokemon and teams.
So thought I would make this for anyone to give their input and help me a bit. I am not too good at Pokemon, I mean I only play the story and that is it and pretty much any team can beat it because trainers have a theme and you are told which Pokemon is coming out next so it just makes it all the easier.
I don't think I'd end up battling others but would be nice to know I possibly could. But it's just more for a personal goal to have a good team... that and for the battle frontier, which you can't win easily like you can the game.
I am only familiar with sweepers. When I look up Pokemon and ones I wanna keep and what moves, all I can think of is to give them offensive moves even if they are defensive and don't have too high an attack.
*** HERE IS WHAT I WANNA ASK ***
What are some team essentials? Like what are some things every team needs? Do I really need someone with Stealth Rock or Spikes? Does every team need at least that? What types of moves should I consider? Such as, should I always have an ice move on hand for off chance of a dragon Pokemon?
As I said this is more for a Battle Frontier use and a personal goal. Also for off chance I would battle others. I assume a team made to battle others would be able to do the job on the Battle Frontier.
side notes:
So... yeah... I also kind of want to see if I can be more unique than what is on Smogon. But... seems like any game where you battle one another, be it Pokemon or as with my friend, Magic The Gathering, seems you can't win easily/at all if you don't follow a set build for a character or team... or deck, when coming to cards. And trying to make your own team/deck and you lose to those who use the same Pokemon and teams over and over and over...
Battles seem so tough though against others. I tried on Smogon with a Pokemon simulator and got a taste and man... it's like you have to predict another's moves! And for me that is... gah! A false prediction costs you the match. I saw people battle each other over and over, using their same teams so they knew each others pokemon and moves and it was just a matter of predicting their moves. Such as will they switch or use Shadow Punch? Should I switch for chance they would? Course this is even HARDER when it's against someone whom you dunno what Pokemon they have. Just pure... madness.
*** HERE IS WHAT I WANNA ASK *** A REPEAT
1.) What are some team essentials? Like what are some things every team needs?
2.) Do I really need someone with Stealth Rock or Spikes? Does every team need at least that?
3.) What types of moves should I consider? Such as, should I always have an ice move on hand for off chance of a dragon Pokemon?

As I said this is more for a Battle Frontier use and a personal goal. Also for off chance I would battle others. I assume a team made to battle others would be able to do the job on the Battle Frontier.
Feel Like Gaming Yet Don't. Other Game Related Stuff?
Posted 15 years agoOr almost anything in general. Know that feeling? Where you feel like playing a game but also don't feel like playing? I get like that often.
Kind of stinks, makes me bored most of the day but I mean there are times where even if I feel that way, if I just sit down and play it instead of feeling/thinking about playing it, I perhaps get into it and then no longer suffer with that problem. But other times... I still feel bored and don't feel like gaming.
Just wanted to share that I guess since I make so little journals anyway. Course with the CONSTANT flood of journals that come through, some making 2-3 a day and only saying one line, sort of like a Twitter thing well... but that is another story.
But yeah I don't expect many to look at this but yeah, still. I might end up deleting this journal as I have done with old journals before.
I do wonder if my desire to game is going down... I dunno. Man... with emulators, I gotta stop with the abuse of save/load state... seriously. I am trying to get off that, gets rid of the challenge of a game to perhaps why I get bored easily. I try without states and boy... do I suck... too use to save/load state. Perhaps to why I want to get old games like that on Wii's Virtual Console, so I am not tempted to do that and so I can play it on the TV... works well, I like it just... lack the money.
Speaking of games you download though... I read an article saying that Nintendo is losing money because everyone with a R4 card to put DS games on... just ouch. I only emulator old games, not newer games on the DS or anything like that.
A bit upsetting that people steal like that, wish Nintendo would do something to stop that. What makes things more upsetting are those people who say "It's not worth the money cause it sucks so I just download it". I mean... c'mon, if you want to actually play it, it's worth your money then, right? It's saying one thing but doing another?
So in short... thoughts about the feel yet don't feel like feeling, with gaming or otherwise? I am sure I am not the only one. Mostly about that... the other things are side things said but of course feel free to give your thoughts about any of that.... I guess, if you want. Heh.
Edit:
Another thing is using guides. I can't help but use guides with games. I hate to miss something but it's sort of a pain to constantly stop and look at a guide. I mean sure I don't have to use one, it would be more relaxing and enjoyable but it bugs me to miss an item or anything else like that.
So yeah... also with a long game I never finish and quit then months or even years later, feel like playing again only to forget everything and therefor start over and end up in the same spot almost before I stop again.
It stinks to lose the mood for a game... I get so deep into games at time and love them so much, feel I won't ever tire of it but I eventually do... and as I said, quit for a long time before I feel like it again. To just try and play it once no longer in the mood just bores me and I just shut it off... I dunno why that is. There are those that never tire of games they are into such as DDR, WoW, GH, or anything other.
