Merry Christmas!
Posted 16 years agoI hope everyone had a good Chrstmas, I haven't been on much lately because my hard disk is going bad (have about 350 messages to check but it's 4:00am).
I plan to go through all the submissions but may nuke the journals unless the title catches my eye. I'm just thinking out loud now :P

Am I blurred or is the mirror dirty?
Posted 16 years agoI have had a meme in my journal for a while now and that's what people would see if they visit my page, so I'm going to repost and edit an old journal that has as of late become relevant again. I try to think of this as a bit of my 'mission statement' for why I'm here.
I love to have fun and I love to have that fun with friends. I keep an open mind about everything and accept people for who they are. If you are my friend then you can expect respect, honesty, and a fierce sense of loyalty.
That's what my motivation is for wanting a fursuit. I want to travel to cons, meet people, make friends, and have a little adventure along the way. It would kill me to live the rest of my life in a small town, in a state of redundancy (work, bills, errands, ect) I'm just not that 'normal' guy. I haven't been posting anything lately and it's itching at the back of my mind until I'm ready to scribble nonsense as an outlet.
If I were to say why I'm a furry, It kind of started with a few dreams, of which is the reason why I choose a wolf (In a way it chose me). From there, it has grown into a progressing connection to the animal within. I have realized that the impulses and urges of a wild animal rest deep within us all, but humans have lost their connection to it over generations. Tapping into the animal within could help us individualize and make us better than we could have been without it. Listen to your instincts and know the truth of what your heart desires.
For me, being a furry really is a journey in bettering yourself by self exploration. Although keep in mind that you may find something about yourself in the opinions of others what truly matters is what you think of yourself. My advice to other furries is to express yourself openly and share your passions with the world, no mater what they are or whether or not you think they are good or not, they are yours and no one can take that away from you. Our time on this world is limited and the only thing I could ask for is to make a positive impact, find peace of mind, and share my company with people who want it while I'm still here.

A Weeks Vacation
Posted 16 years agoI've been on vacation for 4 days now and I haven't completed anything. It seems every time I get to work on anything something else comes up. :(
Anyway, I am determined to post something by saturday so I don't feel like I've had an unproductive vacation. What I'm working on right now I am trying a different colouring method and hope that it will look better than previous posts.
Maybe the delay is fate. Maybe I'm waiting to hit my head and put a flux compasitor in my drawings. (or an equivilant)
Anyone going to Furry Fiesta, have a little extra fun for me and post lots of pictures so next time it comes around I will be motivated to actually kidnap myself and turn up there. :D

A little bit of clerity
Posted 16 years agoI just noticed my journal says "I've been on FA for a week now"...posted 19 days ago... so I have to update!
I may seem like a strict and critical thinker if you read what I have wrote lately, but that's not who I am. I love to have fun and I love to have that fun with friends. I keep an open mind about everything and accept people for who they are. If I were to define myself I would say: I think deeply and live vividly.
That's what my motivation is for wanting a fursuit. I want to travel to cons, meet people, make friends, and have a little adventure along the way.
If I were to say why I'm a furry it my seem a little different. It kind of started with a few dreams, of which is the reason why I choose a wolf (In a way it chose me.) For me it's not about yiff or anything of that nature, it's about a deep connection to the animal within. The impusles and urges of a wild animal rest deep within us all, but most people have lost their connection to it. Tapping into the animal within could help us individualize and make us better than we could have been without it.
To me, being a furry really is a journy in bettering yourself by self exploration. My advice to other furries is to express yourself openly and share your passions with the world, no mater what they are or whether or not you think they are good or not, they are yours and no one can take that away from you.
In closing, stay true to yourself and have a little fun along the way :)

FA is okay!
Posted 17 years agoI have been on FA for about a week now and I have found it to be very enlightening. There are so many nice furries here that I have talked to, if only briefly, and I feel a deeper connection to this community than any group of non-furries I have ever been around. It is relieving to find a place full of so many unique individuals that show such strength in their imagination, hopes, and expression. I hope to find friends here that I can connect to in a meaningful way and have the freedom to express my art, even if it is not top-notch work, and it would be my dream if someone enjoys that art. Don't be shy to leave a message or comment, even if you like to ramble a little.

Posted 17 years agoI have been on DeviantArt for about a month but I never thought to try for FA too. Since I started drawing again (6 years out of practice) I have had an explosion of ideas.
My goals for submitting art is that hopefully I can either entertain someone or more importantly inspire them in their own art. I love to meet people and make new friends so don't be shy to leave a comment.
