Well today was a good day at work. I work at pet smart and today we had adoptions for Golden Retriever, so a good amount of people showed up with their retrievers. There was one that was in a wheel chair. Apparently the original owner let the dog run around anywhere in his neighborhood. They said that the dog eventually ran out its welcome in someone else's yard and the land owner shot him in the spine. The dog was paralyzed throughout its back side. From what they told me the owner was going to let the dog die. But some one found him in time and rescued him. Now he has a wheelchair to hoist its back legs off of the ground so it can pull itself with its front legs.

They took the dog out of the wheel chair and tossed a ball near him and would drag himself around to retrieve the ball and return it. I felt relieved to see him playing. I felt he defeated all odds and now is in a loving home of a woman that takes in crippled animals. There is a special place in heaven for people like her.

Well today would have started me on full time at Pet Smart, but my kitty had fallen pretty hard on her knee last night at roller derby practice, so i had to run her to the emergency room. Luckily nothing was broken, just real badly bruised.

I'm just glad my kitty is ok. She actually hobbled into my work place with me today with my doctors excuse to explain to them what had happened. My manager seemed to be really cool about everything so all is well. :3 She does however have to keep a leg brace on for the remainder of the week and while shes at work. Thank goodness she has Bluecare, they payed for everything.

Well FWA was a blast. Im not so big on the new hotel, but ill adjust. Besides its more about being around furries then it is the hotel, though the hotel was nice i still miss the layout of the old hotel. Unfortunately, during the convention, on friday, Pewters stitching started coming out and the parts that had glue started to come undone. He was my second partial i ever made and it sucks hes so busted now. But not to worry cause i have a professional partial of him on the way.

In the mean time im going to repair the old pewter and still try to wear him at cons. I can use him for roughhousing like in the fursuit games, and the new Pewter will be for show. :3 I want to send out a huge thank you to Merkindser for making my new Pewter.

Next on the list is paying off bills and getting ready for RCFM, and AC. AC this year will fall on my mate's birthday (that Sun the 26th). We will also be celebrating our friend Tofu's birthday which is on the 28th right after con. We also want to send out a huge thank you to Tofu for letting us stay with him at AC.

As an added plus for me, my new job just hired me on full time. Thank God, now i dont have to worry about working two jobs to make the bills, and after just five years ill get 3 weeks of paid vacation, which in my opinion is preaty epic.

I still have a lot of pics i need to down load onto FA, and a lot of vids i need to put on youtube. Iv just been kinda lazy as of lately. hehe Im just glad to be going to cons again, waiting between cons from Oklacon to FWA was quite a wait, but oh well i guess patience is a virture. I hope to be seeing everyone at RCFM and AC this year, and if not there the MFM, as it falls on my birthday every year. See everyone then. ^_^

MFM 2010 is over unfortunately. :( Though i had alot of fun hanging with my furiends and going to con with my mate for the first time. I miss it already. But i guess now is a good time for me to catch up on bills and straighten things out here at home while i wait for Oklacon.

I need to get back into a routing of working out, practicing guitar, and working on making for fursuits. Pewters feet are destroyed right now lol, so i need to repair them. I also need to make him and Krinkle some sandles. Speaking of Krinkle i need to start wearing him more. He was my second attempt at making a fursuit which in my opinion came out fairly well.

Ive been thinking long and hard about using my new Pewter Badge that my kitty bought for me from Scape the Goat, as a reference to have him made into a professional suit. I would have him look exactly like the badge if i could. He will be just a partial for right now then ill have the body suit made later. But, ill have to wait until i get some money.

My roommates were Howler, Crysm, Wildroo, Flamewind, and Knightwulf. They are all great furs and we had a wonderful time. Howler got a bacon toy but only after Goldenwolf and Kurse made him dance for it which was great. :3 They started calling him bacon bitch after that which made it even better lol. Such a silly Wolf. I got to hang with some pack members as well such as Merkindser and his mate JimDaleFox as well as there furiend Arron. I call them the foxy trio lol, and ill see them again at Oklacon.

Both me and my mate Kurse will be traveling to Oklacon together this year which will be awesome. We will be staying in a tent together. Even though i loved Oklacon last year it was one of the most unorganized events i have ever been to, but because of that we had to make our own fun which in my opinion made it more epic.

This year at Oklacon, Okidoki is on staff and i think Calamity Cougar is as well, and they say things this year will be much more organized and more fun, so i cant wait to see what they have going on. So until then, i hope to see alot of furs there. :3

MFM is right around the corner and Kurse and i are so anxious that were loosing sleep over it lol. We will get to show off our new Scape The Goat badges. He did such an awesome kick ass job.

I hope the attendance for this year will be more, as it seems with every con iv been to. Our numbers keep growing which is a good thing in my opinion. It means that more and more people are opening up to us. However, this year with the new hotel there will be no mundanes during the con, asides from the hotel staff. But it will be interesting to see how it turns out, I think it will be a blast either way. I hope to see alot of my old furiends there as well as make some new ones. :3

Hehe, well so far my kitty has been here for a week and a half and things are going great. We hope to have a fursuit made for her by the time mfm rolls around. She will be wearing a bunnysuit named Pacifur. Pacifur was created in a laboratory from Pewter and Kurses dna.

Kurse has been helping me alot with a fursuit that i have been making for the Knoxville rollerderby team, and she has been working hard on her commissions, Her art is really fantastic, anyone reading this should check out her art on her fa account. So were both about to start working hard on her Pacifur suit.

I hope to see alot of familiar faces at mfm this year. I love mfm, its one of my favorite cons. Besides the fact it was the first con in 2009 that i got to fursuit, it always falls on my birthday as well. So its like a birthday present to me. :3

Yay, just a week left before Kurse moves in with me, it will be so nice to have someone to hold at night. :3 Then after that we have just 2 weeks before mfm, this month has been exciting non the less. And im definitely learning how to be more patient from all this, and its definitely worth it.

Kurse is getting plenty of commisions so anyone who mentioned her on their site, thank you so much for your help, its greatly appreciated. :3

On another note, i put Pewter on last night during our meet and noticed his leg was coming unstitched so i have to repair him before mfm, and i have to try and bleach the neck fur cause its looking rather raggedy. I still had fun in him though as i always do. Me and the local furs sat around and drank and smoked hooka and watched movies. I love nights like those. I just wish i had furniture lol. :P

We are always looking for more furs to join us so who ever is reading this is more then welcome to join the knoxville tn furs if they wish, the more the merrier. Last night we had 12 people here, unfortunately im the only one with a fursuit right now. When Kurse moves in that will make two of us and my good friend Bardo is getting his suit from SokiTwoPaw so that will make 3. haha Its so awesome to think about how our numbers are growing. Hopefully it will stay this way for a while. :3
