Posted 3 years agoFinally my AO3 invite went through, so I have a place to post some of my fic works, cuz I don't like how they are handled on FA
Mostly just some old one-shots, still debating if I should put up my MLP works too since I still got my account on FimFiction for that.
Mostly wanted on AO3 so I had a place to upload my first ever FNAF fic, Love Me, Love Me, that I've drawn a few illustrations for already.
Story with fluff that goes dark because is themes that I enjoy. First 5 chapters are up now.
I don't write that many stories all too often, but is nice having somewhere to collect the stuff I do still take pride in. So check it out if you feel like it!

Finally done! I hope..
Posted 3 years agoOkay... I THINK that's the most of it.
Might be a few stragglers left here and there, but that should be the majority. Rest can be sprinkled out more evenly instead of spam dumping.
Mostly just the many OC refs I like to gather one place for easy access for everyone. And some of the old old art I wanted to remember to put up as well as the old traditional arts that only exist as scans now, as I'm not sure any of it still exists in my physical drawers.
For now I consider it a job done unless I find something else I need to reupload here.
And in a day or two my dA account shall be nuked from orbit once I'm sure I got everything worth saving from it.
Thanks for your patience and to everyone who stuck through to fave EVERY SINGLE reupload XD;
And to you who joined the watchers of my account cuz you saw a lot of my art pop up daily. The stream of art gonna slow a bit now, to what my health allows, but I do hope you still enjoy your stay!

ALMOST finished... with general MLP refs...
But the other ref folders ain't AS big, and I'm done uploading for today X3;;
And then is to weeding out what old art from dA needs to be added here too, without being refs for once XD;
I'm trying to speed things up to be done with this, cuz I won't be deleting my dA account until I'm sure I've uploaded everything of value to here, so I don't lose stuff that only exists in scans on dA
But again, GRATEFUL for your patience!

Art Dumping incoming
Posted 3 years agoQuitting on dA for good in a few days, I just couldn't adjust to the Eclipse update. Not a decision I take lightly, as I've been on dA for literal decades.

The WiP Nitpicker - Story Time
Posted 4 years agoSometimes you get hit by a flashback from decades ago so hard you feel like someone physically slapped you for no reason at all.
For some reason I just suddenly had the vivid memory of sitting around during recess at school as a young teen, colouring with markers on a bigger piece I was drawing.
Classmate walks up to me. Looks at my work in progress. Tilts her head, watching me colour in one part of the larger piece.
Raises her hand and points to the other end of the paper and asks “Why haven’t you coloured that in?”
I remember the way I stopped. And slowly craned my neck slowly, looking up at her in absolute disbelieve.
“I’m still colouring and haven’t made it that far yet.”
“Oh, okay, just checking.”
She walks away.
Worst was, this was only the first time she did this. With other pieces she would comment on the unfinished look of my art WHILE I was drawing it. How sloppy it looked with loose sketchlines before I got started on the proper lineart. How bad the anatomy was while I was still just starting to draw the basic indicators for said anatomy. The baldness of the characters before I could get around to ad hair on their heads.
No matter the amount of times I explained to her the PROCESS of drawing, the very thing she was OBSERVING ME DO... she kept seeming to not understand you don’t START with a finished piece the second you put a pencil to the paper.
Why yes she did NOT draw herself.
I’ve happily forgotten all about this for decades, but now flooded with memories of this agent of chaos, and this was just one thing my brain decided to really remember right now for no reason.
Anyways, thanks for reading this random ramble.

Update on the whole situation
Posted 4 years agoHaven’t put up a lot of art as of late, as my art production slowed down over the years and even more so the last few months, Culminating to a month ago where I had to stop my daily doodles all together.
Because fibromyalgia is a bitch and can affect you so much as to make it a difficult, painful task just to pick up a pen and note down a grocery list.
Decisions have been made and I’m now on fulltime sickleave instead of half, starting yesterday and lasting until January.
I’m to focus on resting and recovering, and then light exercises to rebuild again. I was pressing myself too much at work, the stress of wanting to perform only making it worse. So work, during our busiest time of year, had to be removed from the equation to hope for any recovery. Once things calm down in January, I can go back on a new schedule of less hours to ease back into it again.
I’m blessed that my case worker got through to me that this isn’t just about keeping me a productive member of society. But about my general well being too, to ensure I’m not too broken down to function at home.
So the goal they gave me to focus on, is to regain my ability to draw without fatigue or pain. Then they’ll consider me ready to softly start at work again.
I’m far too eager to push myself to perform for “good grades”, so is still going to be a struggle to remember to take this slow.
But hope is I’ll be able to draw again, as I’ve missed it so badly. Is my hobby, my stress relief, how I illustrate my state of mind and being, how I relate to people.

MLP G5 Movie - A quick review

It has begun.
Ending an era fully now we move on to the next.
And ya know what? Is a good movie. Very pretty, good details, cute characters, got some good laughs out of me and had me intrigued. Only one song really stood out to me, but none of them were bad.
My only complaint is that it only works for me as a full on reboot. As the only attempts to make it a sequel is all just bait to keep the old fans invested, while it really doesn’t fit in with everything else.
Lemme explain
It sorta backfires by showing a world so far more empty, because G4 ended with an explored Equestria and a bunch of different creatures integrated among ponies. And now they are all gone, not even a mention, and no explanation what happened to segregate the tribes all over again.
See? Calling it a sequel and rely on known names and faces to sell, only creates plot holes and inconsistencies.
While as a reboot.. that’s fine. It’s a new clean slate to build something entirely new from. Claiming a relation to G4 beyond rebuilding based on ideas from it, kinda ruins the clean slate because it requires questions answered, questions they never meant to raise.
Of course the upcoming G5 series probably gonna have some answers to give, but that should be to explore their own world, not explain what changed from the old. So hopefully the whole “sequel” thing was just bait for the movie, and won’t come up again in the series beyond winks and subtle references for fun. Because they clearly got their own lore going here, different from G4.
So, yeah. Good movie. It needs its own hype, as I get a bit worked up whenever it claims to be a sequel. It deserves to be viewed as its own thing, anything else soils it.
Lovable characters, I look forward to see what we get going with the series. Of course it won’t match movie quality, cuz budget, so I’m interested to see what direction it goes for its visuals in the end.
So yeah, just my overall thoughts here. How I feel about the movie after first viewing.

His ongoing health issues have gone on for over a year already and keeping him in daily pain, and despite this he plans to force himself back on commissions to help finance his home and family after a member lost their job.

Probably jumping conclusions - BUT...
Posted 4 years agoSoo... I'm not sure how to feel about this odd happening.
I enjoy ordering delivery of junkfood, who doesn't? Due to odd errors I was logged out of my faved site for that, for a while, but finally able to log back on again by the app. And wanted to celebrate by ordering delivery. Feeling adventurous I looked for anyplace new I hadn't tried yet.
I find one new place going. "Oh, 0 km from my home? No delivery fee? Neat! Wait.. why does the address map say it's the same address as me...? This is an apartment building!"
I tick it off as error and move on to a different restaurant (was great food, loved their fries)
Well.. TODAY as I'm heading home from an eveningshift I see a guy looking to enter same part of apartment building as me, with the delivery bag for that very site. Cool, I think, I can just let him in. But no.. he got a key himself, and using the elevator for the top floor, the one above me. And seems like his delivery bag is empty. Odd..
So... now I got the suspicion that one of my upstairs neighbours runs a junkfood delivery service from home.

Found a solution! Helpful soul linked me to others with same issues who found another software to help work around HP Solution Center, so I can control my scans again!
Thanks for all the suggestions and comments, I'm just so hecking glad to get this solved this quick, because I seriously had no idea what to do!
Quick thanks to Ransiel for providing the links I needed to figure out what to do.
All is well.
Oh yeah, the solution. PaperScan Software. Goes past the Flash driven parts of my solution center, so I can get access to the control part of the scanning program.

Turns out the HP Solution Center thingy I use to control how my art gets scanned, was run on Flash. And now gone, it won't let me do the thing anymore.
I can still scan by pressing the button directly on the machine itself, but without the program it'll just pick at random what parts of the paper to scan on its base setting where the values are off and I lose the pencil shadings and alike.
As a traditional artist, this upsets me, as majority of my uploaded art is pencil sketches. And pencil colouring. And pencil shaded. You catch my drift.
And I'm not smart enough to figure out a functional replacement. My printer/scanner is almost as old as my computer, which is 10+ years old. Kept running by proper cleaning and added ram.
I have no idea what to do to fix the issue so I can get to scan my art properly again.
Just letting ya know as I'll probably only put up old art for now until I find a way to fix the scan values for anything new.

Health'N'Stuff
Posted 5 years agoBeen on-off mentioning my health as reason why new art slowed down to a halt, while sharing old art to keep some flow going.
The past 2-3 years have been a back and forth with my doctor and clinics to figure out what was wrong. Starting with sore to painful knees and realize my wrist pains are related and not just CTS. Then came the fatigue that made everything worse. 2020 just one slow escalation of my symptoms until doc finally sent me to the right specialist to figure out what was wrong.
Turns out I got fibromyalgia.
A disturbance in the nervous system, that causes chronic pain and fatigue in the muscles.
It has no cure and treatment is limited.
But got a dialogue going with my workplace, with union and HR at my back, to keep working as I still wanna keep my job and they still wanna keep me where I am. Just gotta change up what I do to lessen strain and exhaustion, so I can slow down the growth in numbers of sickdays due to pain.
Living in Denmark I'm pretty secured with free healthcare and laws passed to ensure people with handicaps and chronic conditions can stay on the job market. Just gotta find the right balance to stay active but not harming myself and cause pain. If things do get worse, I can get additional support from the state that includes financial compensation to the company I work for, if a big number of sick days can't be avoided.
Hope is getting a better daily life with this, I can get back to arting some more again with less pain. So here's hoping.

But got a dialogue going with my workplace, with union and HR at my back, to keep working as I still wanna keep my job and they still wanna keep me where I am. Just gotta change up what I do to lessen strain and exhaustion, so I can slow down the growth in numbers of sickdays due to pain.
Living in Denmark I'm pretty secured with free healthcare and laws passed to ensure people with handicaps and chronic conditions can stay on the job market. Just gotta find the right balance to stay active but not harming myself and cause pain. If things do get worse, I can get additional support from the state that includes financial compensation to the company I work for, if a big number of sick days can't be avoided.
Hope is getting a better daily life with this, I can get back to arting some more again with less pain. So here's hoping.

Posted 5 years agoI sure hope people like the change of using my FA gallery for SFW stuff too and not just a sin bin for the ever so rare NSFW stuff if I ever get around to draw it.
Not as much sin as in the good old day, but at least it's more regular content now.

New Folders amd SFW stuff

took me a while but finally got everything sorted into folders (minus scraps but that'll be a different sorting another time.)
Sorted between fandom stuff and themes, and further between NSFW and SFW stuff.
Speaking of, been toying with the idea if I should share more stuff on here other than just mostly NSFW. Mostly use this as my sin bin, just wondering if anyone interested in other stuff too. Mostly I put everything else up on my dA or tumblr, so there are places to go for the SFW stuff.

Posted 6 years agoThis will just be whenever I feel like I wanna draw something saucy. These will be merely SUGGESTIONS not requests. If I don't pick your idea, then that's it. I draw what I want.
Rules:
- SUGGESTIONS not REQUESTS. Deal with it.
- No impatient "when you gonna draw..?", I draw whatever and whenever I want. I owe you nothing.
- By personal bias, suggestions including canon characters and/or my own OC's or OC's belonging to others I've already been shown drawing before, are most likely to be drawn. "DRAW MA OC" will be a limited success depending on the accessibility of any refs and whether or not I can actually get a feel of what kind of character it is through minor, shallow research. These are not commissions, so I'm allowed to be lazy.
- No need to be character specific though, can also just be asking for certain kinks. But I'm free to not draw something I find unpleasant.
So far, that's pretty much it. Suggest away whatever stuff you might wanna see.
