Oof, It's Been Awhile...
Posted 3 years agoSo, uhm, it's been a REALLY long time since I posted a journal. Hell, since I've been active on this account as well.
First off, I'm doing alright! I am super busy though. I am currently in school for IT - System Administration, I work as an IT intern for a Fortune 500 company (and I was just given an unofficial job offer, so working towards getting the official offer!), I run a large social group (Eh, I'll be honest: I run a local kink group. DM for deets since this is my SFW account), and I'm living with my gf Rue and we're both just trying to survive. Plus not to mention that COVID is still floating around....... Okay, pun totally not intended but it works. xD
Secondly, I am still active in the furry community, just in different capacities. I have taken to Twitter (deets below), plus I've found a local furry group plus local cons (FurSquared, Aquatifur, and MFF are all a few hours away from me).
Finally, I want you guys to know I miss you. I've thought fondly of all of the friends I've made on here, and please don't ever be afraid to reach out. It may take me a minute before I see the message (as I don't check this account very often anymore), but I do assure you that I will respond eventually.
So yeah, there's a catch up on my life. lol I hope you are all doing well, and are having a happy holiday season.

Moving and Injury *UPDATE*
Posted 6 years agoSo first off, let's get the bad news out of the way:
I, unfortunately, slipped on the ice and wound up pulling a muscle
in my hip. Good news is, it's on the mend already. Bad news is, I
gotta take it easy where I can. Which is hard, because my job entails
standing all day, and then I'm walking around school a lot. But I've
been doing stretches and heat treatments, and that's helping me to
recover faster.
Good news is, I'm on track for moving! I've gotten the majority of
the apartment packed already, and my sister is coming over tomorrow
to help me pack up the rest. I get the keys to the new place on Friday,
so hopefully I'll be living there that following Monday. *crosses fingers*
That's all the updates I have for now! Wish me luck in the move guys! :)
Good News Everyone!! +Update
Posted 6 years agoOn Monday I received some wonderful news!
I GOT THE APARTMENT!!!!!
There's a beautiful apartment that 
misheru-san and myself were
hoping to get, and we got approved for it!! I get the
keys March 1st, and I'll be moving in the first two weeks
of March, and then I'll be travelling during the third week
of March to go get misheru-san from California
and move her here! It's definitely going to be a month
of March Madness for us, with trying to balance this
move with work and school, but it'll definitely be worth it!
So Good And Bad News...
Posted 6 years agoBad news is, I won't be going to Fur Squared this year,
even though I REALLY want to go. :(
That's because of the good news!! I am currently applying
for a new and bigger apartment, and, if everything goes smoothly,
I'll be moving the first week of March!! Which means that all of
my spare time and money will be going towards that move. lol
If it all goes smooth, it'll be a month of GO-GO-GO cluster-fuck-ery,
but then a huge improvement in both misheru-san and myself's
lives. With work and school, it'll be one hell a March. lol
Is that why they call it March Madness? lol

UPDATES:
So, I've got a couple of updates to give, since I seem to be behind on my journals here. lol
First off, MFF went great! I had a great time, got to meet/hang out with so many wonderful
people. Unfortunately my depression reared it's ugly head, so I wound up leaving early. But
even with that, I still had a great time and am definitely looking forward to next year! :)
Secondly, I'm going to attempt to make it to Fur Squared, but no guarantees on that con this
year. Money is a little tight for me atm, which is caused by my next update actually.
Thirdly: I'll be moving! In March (or June if things don't work out) I'll be finding a bigger
place and moving in with the lovely misheru-san. Atm I'm saving every penny I can
to help with the move, so as I said earlier, money will be tight.
Fourthly: I finished my first semester of college! I passed all of my classes with a 3.4 GPA.
Which was 0.1 points away from joining the honor society! Damn it! Lol! Next semester
for sure! I WILL be on honor society! lol
And that's about it for updates from me for now. I'm still gonna be a bit quiet on here, per
usual. I'm a bit more active on Twitter, but I'm
slowly becoming a hermit on there as well due to work and school.

Posted 7 years agoIF work goes well tonight, then I'll be able to make it to MFF
tomorrow! IF it all does, then I'll be at MFF bright and early tomorrow
(I'll try to leave Madison around 6:30/7am, and be down to MFF by
9:30/10am). Hopefully the lines for registration aren't the worst, so
that I'm able to get exploring the con at a decent time.
I'm also bringing Raythe this time, and this will be his very first con!
Woo! So yeah, I'm debuting him at MFF I guess. lol

College life is hectic!
Posted 7 years agoAnd water is wet! In other obvious news: It's been too long since I posted on here!
Life is treating me well, and I'm busting ass between work and school. And because of that,
my schedule will be pretty hectic and crazy and making it so that free time is a rare commodity.
But it'll be worth it in the long run!
Anyways, just wanted to post up here saying why I've been so quiet lately, and that I miss all
of you fuzzies! I'll catch you all on the furry side of life!! ^^
Long time no talk, but updates!

So, I see it's been awhile since I posted on here or even messaged anyone.
For that, I'm sorry. Life has been hectic, and I've had a lot on my plate. That
does bring me to the updates though:
I am now officially an MATC student! I am fully accepted, and will be starting
classes on September 4th. I will be going for IT-System Admin Specialist. I
am both nervous and excited about starting school. Especially since I am still
going to be working full time as I go to school. Luckily, my work is willing to
work with me so I'll still be able to get close to 40 hours a week.
And, on another note, I might be able to have some luck with tuition! I applied
for some grants and I was awarded two of them! They will help out quite a bit!
Lesser student loans for the win! Woo!
I'm also looking forward to August! In August, my pet is going to be visiting me
for quite some time, and we'll be going camping during that time as well. There
will be quite a bit going on during that time.
I'll also be looking into moving into a new place by February of next year. I
decided that I need a little bit bigger place than I currently have. Wish me luck
in finding a good place!
And finally, I'm also looking into getting a new car. I do like my current car, but
it's showing it's age, and I need something closer to an SUV for some of my future
plans. Especially with planning on going to more future cons. Raythe just fits in
my current car with my luggage. I might be able to fit one more fursuit and thing
of luggage in the car, but just one. lol
And that's about it for me. Sorry I've been quiet, and I can't make any guarantees
that I'll be more active, especially with school starting, but I'll do my best. I miss
all you fuzzies and fur-friends!

else come up that I'm going to jump on instead.
I'm going back to school!!
That's right, I'm applying for college and hopefully will be a student in the fall! *crosses fingers*

Posted 7 years agoIt's been awhile! Sorry about that, life has been a little hectic for me.
I'm currently looking at new places to live. Due to some upcoming
events, I need to find a place that allows three pets (a Herculean task
in Madison), or else buy a house (again, a monumental feat in this
economy). So I've been a bit stressed from that, but nothing too bad.
I'm also working on paying some outstanding debt off, which is making
things a little tight for me (to the chagrin of my social life. lol). But
once they're paid off, I'll be a little more flexible financially, so it'll be
worth it.
Besides financial and housing news, I don't really have anything new to
report. My life has been pretty normal lately, and I've had quite a few
busy weekends between family and friends.
So yeah, that's about it from me. I'd love to hear from you guys, and
as always, stay furry my friends!

Fur Squared Recap
Posted 7 years agoSorry I took so long to write this journal, this last week has been a little hectic. >.<
So anyways!
Fur Squared was AMAZING!!! It was SO much fun, I met some amazing and hilarious
people, and it was just a good time all around! Seeing alkalibismuth antics, and the
antics of the Fur Squared Board Of Directors, was SO frickin' hilarious! I also got to see
foxamoore and PepperCoyote live for the first time, which was so much fun!
The more they played, the drunker they got! xD
All in all, it was such a fun and amazing and hilarious three days. And it was an extremely
generous time as well. We wound up raising A LOT of money for our charity. So much that
it made both the head of the charity AND Alkali cry.

Fur Squared is only 17 days away! Soon my lovely pet will be with me,
and we'll be enjoying the con! That also means a bit of prep work and
cleaning I need to do yet. xD
But, that being said, I'm pretty sure I can get all the stuff done before
the con that I need to. ^^ I just need to buckle down and do it.
Besides the con coming up, I'm excited as well because next weekend
will be the one year anniversary of me living in my current apartment!
Yay for one year of adulting! lol
I don't really have much else atm. lol Once it gets within a week of
Fur Squared, I'll be posting a "Fur Squared Meme" journal with all of
my info about the con.

So, future plans I guess?
Posted 8 years agoIdk what else to call this journal, just kinda getting my thoughts down for the future:
In the immediate future:
Today is the start of our busy season at work, so I'm going to be focusing on busting ass and
getting through that. Ten hour days for two - two and a half weeks, plus 6 hours this saturday,
which is actually less than last year but still gonna be a long ass two weeks.
In the near future:
I'm going to be planning out and getting ready for Fur Squared. So far it looks like I'm going
to be driving there with Whiskers and Luka, and we're all sharing a room. I should hopefully
have Raythe by then and, if everything goes according to plan, will be debuting him there.
That's going to make for a fun car ride there though, as it'll be three people and two fursuits
crammed into my car. xD
In the far future:
I'm going to try to commission 
Marshmallowtwirl to make me a full suit of my
character Echo. So far she's psyched about making him, and I think he'll be a great character for cons.
Here's hoping that all turns out *crosses fingers*
IN THE YEAR 2000:
I'm going to try my best to be more active at furry cons and events, and I'm also going to try
to be more active on FA. I know the fandom has spread out to other places, and I'll try to spread
out a bit as well. Maybe even set up a Twitter finally. lol
That's about all I've got for now, and none of this is really set in stone. With the way my life is,
things change at a moment's notice. But I'm hoping this works as a good blueprint for the next few
months. Wish me luck guys! ^^

Posted 8 years agoWell, I had a pretty fun time down there! The day was a bit of a roller coaster
of emotions for me, but all in all it was a great time. I met a BUNCH of great new
friends, ran into a handful of friends I had met at FC 2015 (And they all still remembered
me!!), and just had a blast.
I even got a free plush mouse with a squeaker in the tail, but I sadly lost it during the con. :(((
But besides that it was a blast! I'm definitely glad I went down there for the day!
Here's hoping things turn out and I get to see a lot of my new friends at Fur Squared as well!! :)

So.........I MIGHT Be Going To MFF
Posted 8 years agoIt's not perfectly set in stone yet (need to make sure a few things are taken care of first),
but I might be swinging by MFF on either Saturday or Sunday for one day. I wish I could stay longer,
but alas, life is a pain sometimes. :/
Anyways, if you're going to MFF and want to meet me, I'm game to meet up with you! I won't have a
lot of time, and I do want to spend some of that time with a dear friend of mine who I haven't seen in
FOREVER!!!, but I'm still willing to make some time to meet some of you!
As it stands right now, I'm also going to Fur Squared in February with a few friends, so you can meet
me there as well! If everything goes right for that, I might have a suit to debut as well! Hopefully!
And speaking of suits, I have two in mind to get made. One is already in the works, and the other
is merely waiting on the maker to open for commissions. ^^ I can't say anymore than that atm,
sorry. Spoilers ya know. xD

Finally went to a local fur meet!
Posted 8 years agoAnd I just have to say, it wore me out! AND I DIDN'T DO THAT MUCH! XD
It was down at a local bowling alley, and there were all kinds of furries and suiters there.
I met SO many people, got a lot of great pics, and just had a good time. My buddies actually
bowled while they were there, but I was content to just watch them and chill with another friend
of ours.
It was so much fun though, and I met some wonderful people. I can't wait to go to the next one
(which is in January sadly >.<), and hopefully someday I'll be able to take my suit there (when
it gets completed. ^^).
Well, I'm going to go crash and burn now! Gonna hang out with a few friends tomorrow, so wish
me luck! Nini everyone! *flops into bed*
