Hey, sorry for the way too long laps of time from updates. I was supposed to have this stuff out like well over a year ago to at least finish this arc. I have at least the rest of this arc pretty much done, but I havent done any writing or hard working on the next one, cause I really could use some help straighting out the story but noone really has the ability to help. I will try to get something done but in the mean time the next 10 or so strips I'll start posting simi requrlarly till the arc is done.

Noticed I didnt fix the eyes for the last 4 updates. I usually do that during the coloring, but since I dont color these, I forgot all about it. I got that fixed hopefully

hey there, I know I said stuff was coming and it still is, its just I just finished a HUGE 166 character commission and took till about now to have any time. I have like 11 out of like 30 strips penciled. it still will take a few weeks to finish penciling the other 19 or so and then when I ink em I can put them out.

Also going to AC in pittsburgh. Will be in the artist alley on friday only. Come by and say hi!

I didnt want a long drought of content from the comics, but with this massive 120+_ wall commission and work, its been a little hectic. That isnt all it took a while to come up with the next story arc, and then had to write it, which I have completed. Its currently over 30 strips. I in the last week have penciled 7, but I'm not positive I can keep that up with the workload and then after that I still have to ink and all lettering to them to publish. I'm not sure when I'll the next strip up, but I'm going to TRY for it not to be too long, but it could be another month.

sadly I was hoping to have more done to keep things going smooth. I have a few written for the next arc, but I have have it all written and not drawn yet. I'm hopeing it wont take too long to get it put out.

Sorry to everyone waiting forever to see anything from this comic. Alot of stuff snow balled and one thing got in the way of another. Then a few of the story lines got stuck where I couldnt tell them the way I wanted. I kept wrestling with them and trying this and that and got no where.

I'm going to TRY to start things back on track. Going to try to do a few catch up strips to get people up to date *hopefully* and then try to get back to putting up strips. I just dont know if I can get back to the once a week rhythm I had in mind when I started. I think that was another reason I slowed down and then stopped. Kinda kept looming over me.

I hope nothing will get in the way, but not sure I wanna put a deadline when stuff will start coming out, cause I have no idea if I will miss it.

Either way the comic isnt completely dead.

With 2 cons hitting me and mainly my job being questionable at best I havent had the most amount of time to work on anything. i am hoping it will settle itself out, but nothing is for sure.

Well with this week starts the event of the century. Looks like there is a wedding brewing out there and its going to take everyone to pitch in!

Basically I've had a project brewing in my mind, ever since I started on this arc, about making a wedding photo album, but instead of me doing it, getting everyone else too! a huge volume of memories of this most historic wedding. I am trying to do what I can out there and I have a feeling its going to take quite a few commissions. However, it you wanna contribute or know someone who does, then pass along a note. Lets make this the best wedding ever!

Just a heads up I'm going to be heading to furry fiesta at the end of Feb in dallas. If you are there come by and say hi. I'm going to try to get into the artist alley, but this year its a raffle, so there is no way of knowing if I can get a table. However I'll be trying to get a table fri and sat. Also the tabels are reraffled off every day so I might be on 1 day and off the next, I dont know :P

Now Rayne is over 4 years old I still link the first strip every time and its really starting to gnaw at me art wise. I'm not much of an art snob, and I wouldn't say that I'm that good and I like to see the progression of other artists with I see thier comics from the start till where they are now. With that said I think I progressed a bit and mainly some of the first few I think might be so bad they might be putting people off to the comic itself before they can get into it.

With all that said I want to know your opinion. I wish I could redo every mistake and the like from every strip ever but that is just unrealistic. However what do you feel. And how many strips do you feel are unreasonably bad? I dont know when or possibility if I can redo any of them, but since its a little for me and alot for you, the reader, i wonder what you want.

Don't worry if you say alot of them are bad as long as you are honest ^.^

For those of you who don't know I'm going to Japan on the 23rd of March and coming back the 30th? What does this mean? That there will be a short outage on that week, so no strip. I do ask if anyone wants to try their hands at a guest strip they are welcome to, to fill for that time but I usually don't get any responces :P

The admins thought it would be fun to ban a good chunk of FA today and my main account was included. Somehow they also erased my email as well, so I had to note a admin through this account to see if I could get anything done about it. However if it isn't fixed I might not be able to be up here much longer -.- Just when I was trying to get more people on board they do this. I think its a hint they want to reduce there userbase. In the mean time I'll post updates as I get them.

Just so everyone knows The comic Rayne updates once a week. I have been updating this mirror site at 5 strips a week to get everyone caught up and try to get the links on here right as well.
