The Long and Winding Road (1,000 Watcher Journal)
Posted 4 weeks agoSo. One thousand watchers. Even if I’ve been preparing for this milestone for a good while now, it still doesn’t quite feel real. Some part of me still trapped in the late 2000s and early 2010s wants to say doesn’t that make you a popufur, now? (as at one point, 1000 watchers really did seem to be the rough boundary for popufur-dom), even though that boundary has shifted somewhere into the multiple thousands over time (just like how qualifying as a greymuzzle has shifted from merely being 30 or older into actual middle-age as the fandom has both grown older and reached successive generations).
And not just one thousand watchers - we’re also talking about a very, very late 10th anniversary for the start of my writing on FurAffinity - said 10th anniversary falling on the 31st of March earlier this year; which I didn’t realise had happened until a couple of months after.
So, as narcissistic as it might potentially be, I thought the best way to celebrate both of these in tandem - as well as to properly organise and digest my own thoughts on it all - would be to ramble on as I often do in story descriptions. Normally, I’m talking about the creative process for a specific story when doing so… so we’ll consider this rambling on about the creative process for myself? Hah~
FORMATIVE EXPERIENCES
I’m pretty sure I was born somehow pre-programmed to one day be into macro, and I say that with complete seriousness - and I’m fairly certain that a lot of other people will read this and think, you too? About as far back as I can possibly remember - and bearing with me since I have a very bad memory - I was interested in big things. A lot of people can point to a single specific piece of media as their own macro/furry awakening, but I never exactly had anything that specific, so much as a whole bunch of little moments that make an awful lot of sense in retrospect.
In no real order (especially because I have no memory of the age I was for any of them, other than probably under 10 years old for most of them) - I remember being a bit spellbound (and feeling very funny inside somehow) as a little kid when I caught the very ending of Honey I Blew Up The Kid when I got up early one day to watch TV. A scene in a cartoon called Ultimate Book of Spells where a girl outgrows a cage to escape it got lodged in my head for the better part of 20 years after seeing it once while on holiday, until I finally managed to track it down again with a friend’s help. One Christmas time I was annoyed at a family friend’s daughter choosing for us all to watch Barbie and The Nutcracker on the TV right up until the Rat King grew to massive size during the duel with the Nutcracker. The scene in Disney’s Hercules with the hydra made me feel excited in a funny way as a kid, somehow, and I wished the hydra had kept growing more and more and more heads and beaten Hercules - and by the same token I was obsessed with using hydras in Age of Mythology and always carefully micromanaging them to grow as many heads as possible, each.
(And you had better believe I adored the Egyptian and Greek titans in that game, the giant anthro Ra and Cerberus.)
If someone put a gun to my head and told me to pick a single moment as my macro awakening, though, it would definitely be Temdant’s old upload of the Pocket Dragon Adventures episode Attack of The 50 Foot Binky (and I’m probably showing my age a little just by mentioning that YouTube channel). I still have a gigantic soft spot for Binky because of it to this very day because of it, and as far as I can tell it might well have been the first time I watched a cartoon episode where someone grew giant and then got shrunk back down, and explicitly thought to myself that I wished they had kept on growing bigger.
In terms of more general formative media, though, things are probably a bit eclectic. In terms of children’s media, a hodgepodge of whatever you could reasonably expect a British 2000s kid to have watched, coupled with a tonne of old Hanna Barbera cartoons and a smattering of older, more homegrown stuff due to a fairly substantial childhood VHS tape collection (Trumpton, Chigley, Bill and Ben, The Herbs, Captain Pugwash, Ivor the Engine, and so on and so forth). There was also a Digimon Adventure cassette that I adored (and which I somehow managed to forget about until a couple of years back), though anime wasn’t something I really became aware of at all until well into teenagehood (which is probably pretty uncommon, especially nowadays, but at least when I was a kid in the early 2000s anime didn’t seem to have much of a presence in Britain).
There was also a lot of books. A lot. I don’t remember much that’s specific other than being obsessed with Percy Jackson enough that I managed to read the third book in a single sitting on the day it came out, and ravenously devouring every single scrap of Warhammer/Black Library I could get my hands on, to the point I completely wore out the spine of my poor Grey Knights Omnibus from re-reading it so many times.
In terms of video games - Ty The Tasmanian Tiger, Runescape and Age of Mythology formed a sort of obsessive trifecta I only really broke out of sometime towards the middle of secondary school.
MY PATH TO FINDING FURAFFINITY
I’m not quite sure how or when I discovered furries and the furry fandom. I think I was vaguely aware of them both for a very long time beforehand, simply because I managed to stumble my way onto Encyclopedia Dramatica at an age that really wasn’t appropriate, sometime around or after the whole Burned Furs thing went down.
I was actually specifically into giantesses long before I was into macro furries, though - again, due to my generally poor memory, especially of stuff that happened long in the past and that at the time I saw no real need to commit to memory - I’m not quite sure for how long before. At the very least, I can remember an entire smattering of various size-focused websites that I think I used before I found FurAffinity (And I’m also not sure how I found any of them, nor FurAffinity itself):
The Overflowing Bra (overflowingbra.com). Mini-giantess & slow growth story wiki (mg-sg.pbworks.com). Giantess booru (now renamed to Sizebooru) and giantessworld.net. On top of this there was Temdant’s channel on Youtube, and what other stuff passed for size content on the site in the mid-to-late-2000s (I remember a specific vore animation simply called ‘Dragoness’ or something along those lines making the rounds at the time), as well as whatever I could scrounge up through Google.
(I had a specific pet peeve at the time, for people labelling micro/shrink content as giantess, whereas now the difference between the two is much more firmly established.)
I’m not sure what order any of these sites came in, or even if they were before, concurrent with, or after FurAffinity. As for FurAffinity itself, I’m fairly certain I was using it by 2010 at the absolute latest, given my memories of certain specific pictures - Pokémon Master by Sift, and the Amelia’s Growth sequence by Darcell1291 - meaning both that I probably found them relatively soon after upload, and also had a relatively well developed idea of what I liked by then.
From then, it was just a matter of time until I made my account. Initially I created an account with the name Infinity421 - the name I used for my Runescape account, and then everywhere else - before deciding against the idea of being able to be linked to a FurAffinity account, and using some sort of random username generator to come up with something else quickly.
Thank goodness we can change our display names because on some level I regretted and was embarrassed by Rdude90 ever since.
(And for anyone who may have ever wondered, my profile icon comes from a long-abandoned Nationstates account I had named Cesatar - specifically some sort of forum RP thing involving a joint fighter program, which I cropped and used as a profile pic. I made the original flag design very badly in Paint.net with a lot of copy-pasting and the colour fill tool.)
MY PATH TO WRITING FOR FURAFFINITY
Would you believe me if I told you that I did badly on school exams because I was so bad at expressing myself? I almost don’t, and it’s pretty funny in retrospect. But, I first started writing on writing.com, probably somewhere around 2010 and 2011 - I could go and look at my earliest uploaded chapters but with just how many interactives have been deleted over the years it wouldn’t be accurate in any real way.
Needless to say, my early stuff was rough. Very rough, and very bad (though I think the exact same thing about basically everything I’ve ever written before 2022 or so, but they do say artists/writers are their own worst critics). I mostly contributed to a now-deleted interactive called Giant Friendly Animals (though which I managed to mostly save and reupload on my own account, shortly after its deletion), which was definitely where I cut my teeth on writing. I’d say the first signs of improvement came from deliberately trying to emulate Dnapalmhead’s writing style because of how much I loved it, after he began contributing to the interactive himself sometime after I did. There’s a reason why my writing style is so close to his, and, well - it’s because my own much younger self adored his writing and wanted to write something just like it, even if over time I’ve definitely developed my writing style into something I can truly call my own.
I’d say I had a sense of writing.com’s decline even back in 2014/15 or so - and that was when the site regularly rustled up more than two or three thousand visitors a day. As far as I can tell, the exact message or chatlog or whatever is probably lost to time - but it was JamesFoxes who encouraged me to write for FurAffinity instead of writing.com, and I will be eternally grateful to him for that suggestion.
And so, like a rat (or maybe a cat) fleeing a sinking ship, I jumped from one site to the other - and the rest, with some bumpiness and gaps and absences here and there - is history.
EARLY INFLUENCES AND INFLUENCES ON MY FURRY INTERESTS AND WRITING STYLE
Sometimes it can be hard to tell what influenced you to like a certain thing, but even though I’m not exactly sure of the timeframe or order, I’m at least able to pinpoint a decent handful of specific people who influenced me and how. In no particular order - and hopefully without missing out anyone -
NMR is responsible for me liking huskies, thanks to Strength Test, which directly led to Angel and everything associated with her. I’d say that’s pretty damn important.
Aakashi might have introduced me to transformation in general, thanks to Drum Call and Dragon Kiss. It was either them, LunarKeys or Banana of Doom.
Muddyness and MrExilo probably got me interested in more serious/darker size stories (at least relative to what I was interested in at the time), courtesy of the former’s Growth Spurt series and the latter’s general output. Hetzer planted the idea of military sci-fi combining with furry and macro in my mind, and Spam7 offered pretty critical early advice for writing longer stories. Cetas (Rest in Peace) introduced me to inflatables, and DesmondFallout’s Rise of The Mega Horse might well have been my first exposure to feral to anthro transformation. Darcell1291 introduced me to the idea of growth via inflation.
VDO was an appropriately huge influence on me, which you can probably tell by how I’ve made deiphilia a pretty big part of my personal ‘brand’, so to speak. Furry gods and goddesses, massive-massive-massive sizes, and explosive speeds of growth.
Above all else, though, I think Dnapalmhead is probably, by far, the single largest influence on my interests - and, as mentioned before, my own writing style. Off the top of my head, he got me into - male growth (there was a time where I was distinctly uncomfortable with it, which I find genuinely funny in retrospect given basically the entirety of my gallery), muscle, hyper-muscle, huge hyper-muscle and hyper, growing villains/baddies, smug growers, power-hungry growers (and in general every single possible personality type for a growing macro that isn’t a purely sugar-sweet cinnamon roll), too many growth triggers and individual species to list, and - along with VDO - a specific preference for huge sizes. Gigamacro, teramacro, universal and so on - 15 years ago or so it was very hard to find size content that went much bigger than Godzilla-sized; or at least that was how it felt at the time (something I’ve mentioned once or twice in various story descriptions).
WHERE WE ARE NOW
So, where are we now?
That’s a big question. In all honesty, I’m not entirely sure - this year’s had too many hectic/busy periods for my liking, which has thrown things pretty heavily off the rails on a handful of occasions. On top of this, it’s been one of those years where it feels like half of the entire thing simply vanished down the plughole when you weren’t looking. Despite that, though, I’ve managed to keep trucking along with my writing, and I’m happy with the speed of it - even if there’s a few specific stories I wanted to have out much earlier in the year, I’m at least still working on them and getting things done, bit by bit; and it still feels amazing being able to write a thousand words a day, or 2 or 3 thousand if I push things or really get into the zone, compared to how before a year-or-so ago, now, my absolute maximum was 500 words a day. Even if - yes, I write furry porn - there’s a genuine feeling of joy to the creative process and to writing; and - without meaning to jinx things - I doubt I’ll ever see a period of burnout anywhere close to the one that lasted for a few years between 2018/19 and 2021.
While I am very proud of what I’ve managed to accomplish, it still feels strange knowing that it’s been over ten years since I uploaded my first story to this site. That’s a very, very long time, and a lot of things are different now to how they were back then - both the real world and the internet are pretty different places; the furry fandom has seen an entire new generation of members (as well as what I like to think of as an increasing degree of tolerance from those outside it) - and, hell, even I’m different. On some level, I still ‘feel’ the exact same on the inside as I did back then - but at the same time, I know I’m very different to the person I was ten years ago, and not just in terms of writing ability. My circle of friends has changed, too - some I’m still friends with, others not any more. I feel like I have a much better idea of who I am as a person, especially over the past couple/few years in particular - I think getting my fursona really helped, as corny as that might sound.
In all honesty, I’m not quite sure how to finish this journal off - so maybe a thank you to anyone who decides to take the time to read this is the best idea. To anyone who follows me or my work, or who has favourited anything I’ve uploaded, or has even just taken a look at a story I’ve written and liked it - thank you. When I started uploading stories to Furaffinity I never thought I’d get anywhere close to this far - as far as I can tell, the first time I even mentioned or so much as noticed my watcher count was around 650 or so - and even though I love writing so much that I’d probably still do it even if nobody else ever looked at my stories, the fact that there are people out there interested enough in what I create to do so is definitely a big part of the motivation to continue.
So - thank you, all of you. Here’s to another 10 years of writing, and to another ten years of creative pursuits or progress or just general good fortune for everyone.
(And yes, Titanic Life is still coming, for those who are still interested, even if the journal mentioning that is now nearly 3 years old. The first part of the rewritten version would have been uploaded in March, if I’d had my way - which unfortunately, I didn’t. Hopefully it’ll be coming sooner rather than later!)

Titanic Life and General Update
Posted 2 years agoJournals aren’t something I write often (the last one was just over four years ago, now), but recently I’ve had a handful of people asking me questions about the same specific topic; and I figured that it’d be a good idea to write a journal about it, so that if anyone else has any questions I can point them to it.
This specific topic is/was Titanic Life, my Stellaris fanfiction series.
TL;DR: No, it’s not cancelled, but I am aiming to rewrite it, and it’s probably going to take a long while, and I don’t know when there’ll be enough to post on my account.
For a more detailed explanation:
Even though I usually try to keep my real-life self and my FurAffinity account reasonably separate, I’m going to need to expose at least a bit of said real-world self for proper context. Around a couple of months ago I started a course - the first time I’ve ‘properly’ gotten back into education as an adult - and said course has been taking has been taking up a lot of my focus and spare time; as in, I glanced at the date yesterday and suddenly realised that it’d been just over three weeks since I uploaded Lumie’s story, and since then I’ve barely done any writing at all.
In other words, my uploads are probably going to slow down for the next while. I guess it’s a good thing that even though I’d like to upload every month, I’ve never explicitly promised to do so.
This means that it’s probably going to be a good while until we see any more of Titanic Life, for a couple of reasons. The first reason is just because I’ve been focusing on other things, more recently: For the past while I’ve been in a fantasy mood as opposed to a sci-fi mood, and I’ve also wanted to give some of my neglected OCs their time in the spotlight.
The second reason is that for a while now I’ve been planning on rewriting what I already had for Titanic Life. I’m not exactly not proud of Titanic Life, but I was pretty rusty when I started writing it (on account of writing basically nothing for the preceding 2-3-ish years), and I know that I can do better, with my current level of ability - and though I’m not opposed to stories changing as they’re written, the inadvertent pivot from ‘cosy macro/hyper sci-fi slice of life with worldbuilding’ to ‘macro military sci-fi with worldbuilding, and cosiness on the side’ was definitely a rather awkward one. So awkward, in fact, that I spent most of 2022 trying to figure out a way to continue on with the series as it was with the story I had planned - and failing - and eventually deciding to simply start over with a more solid foundation.
If you’re a fan of the current version of Titanic Life, I’m not planning to completely scrap what came before - mostly, it’s minor adjustments to worldbuilding details to have the world be more coherent and make more sense. Some events are going to be fairly different, or occur in different contexts, but for the most part the biggest difference is a greater focus on telling a specific story from the outset, instead of awkwardly shifting into it.
As for the characters, they’ll also be mostly the same - my plans are to vary between three specific viewpoint characters from the current version of Titanic Life - specifically Alex, Mira, and Felix - with occasional viewpoint sections from others. Things will mostly be the same here, as the focus will simply be on giving them the depth I always wanted them to have.
There’s also going to be a greater focus on military sci-fi, at least when it comes to certain characters’ points of view. This won’t be a constant, and it is following the story I wanted to tell from a relatively short way into the current version of Titanic Life, but I figured it was important to mention as well. There’ll still be room for comfy worldbuilding, but I’m aiming for that side of Titanic Life to coexist more comfortably with the more serious/mil-SF side of it - after all, the very origin of the series’ name is the in-game event that gets you macro-sized alien soldiers.
I’m not planning to delete the original version, ever - it’s too important for me to even think about doing so - so there’s no need to worry about anything like that. When it comes to uploading the new version - whenever that happens - I’ll probably just slap an ‘OLD’ in their title, or a ‘REDUX’ in the new version, so it’s clear which is which.
I also wanted to say thank you to those who reached out to me with questions about Titanic Life, recently; both for their patience and for their interest in my writing. I know it’s been stalled for a good while now, and I know it’s probably not the most exciting thing in the world for me to say ‘more probably isn’t coming any time soon, and I’m rewriting a story series that you liked a lot’, but given how long it’s been since the last part in the series I figured it’d be better to let anyone who’s interested know now, rather than later down the line whenever there’s enough of the rewrite finished to actually be worth posting. I also figured it’d be worthwhile to let people know about the likely slowdown for my writing in general, as I don’t have any new stories on hand that can go up anytime soon.
Hopefully the next time I make a journal it’ll be a more exciting one, but they do say that honesty is the best policy.
Signal Boost - Friend's Gofundme; Short Update
Posted 6 years agoHi all - I know I haven't exactly posted much at all on here for a while, but a friend of mine is in some financial trouble and has set up a gofundme to cover her costs. I'm not sure if I'd be able to donate too much so I wanted to do something that would, at the very least, bring some awareness to it.
https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-tes.....hings-together
In addition, I'm currently out of work again due to my temp work finishing up, more or less, though I'm not quite ready to open up commissions via a queue again - maybe I could do a commission or two in private, but I'm not quite sure. I do have a couple of stories in the works but overall I'm not focusing much on writing at the moment so I can't promise they'll be here anytime soon. Hopefully this won't be too much of a disappointment - I know my output has slowed rather drastically over the past couple of years.

Commissions On Hold - Started Work
Posted 6 years agoWell, that didn't last long, did? Unfortunately for those of you who were in line to receive a story from me, I've recently started full-time work, and due to this I've made the decision to pause all commission work for the time being. This is due to me simply not having the time to write at the moment. I actually started work a little while ago, but I wanted to wait to make this journal, just to make sure everything was panning out well.
The job is temporary, however - it should last for around a year, at the most - and so I should be able to return to commission work at some point in the future, and when that happens I'll let you all know. I'll likely also try to do some work on some non-commission stories I've had ideas for, though progress on those will likely be slow.
I will be preserving the order of commissions when I restart them, though - that is, if you were next in line to be picked, I'll send you a message when I start back up checking if you still want a commission.
Thank you for your understanding.

Reopening Comissions in A Limited Capacity
Posted 6 years agoAs the title suggests, I've decided to reopen commissions, albeit in a very limited capacity compared to how I was doing it before. As such, there will be several changes to how I did commissions before.
The first, and most obvious, is that there will be a length limit. For now, this will be roughly 1000 words or so - though I will be okay with going a bit over this, as it's rather difficult to squeeze everything into a thousand words. I will be charging slightly more if the story goes over this limit; however, as always, I am open to negotiation, and potentially editing or cutting down the story if so desired. However, I will only be charging more at certain 'milestones' - that is, one-hundred, two-hundred words over, and so on - and this extra charge will only be a fraction of the total price depending on how far over the limit the story goes - that is, if it goes a hundred words over the limit, for example, I would add one-tenth of the price of a thousand words onto the original price.
The second is that I will be changing the rate at which I charge for commissions slightly. Previously, it was $10 per thousand words, but I have decided to bring this down to $7.50.
Thirdly, I will not be making any queues or reserve slots, this time around - a single person will be written for at a time. As such, this will very much be a 'first come first served' kind of thing. Once work on a story is done I'll let the next person in line know that it's their turn.
If you want a commission, please leave a comment on this journal, and please bear in mind that if someone has commented before you then you will likely have to wait before being contacted. In addition, I also communicate on Discord a lot nowadays, so having one of those would probably make things slightly more convenient.
Please refer to my original journal on commissions for anything relating to them not explained here, or leave a question if it's not answered there or here.
Also, on a side note - I've been thinking of potentially uploading pictures of Warhammer models that I've painted onto this account, likely into my Scraps folder. I know that's not exactly what people come to my account for, so I was wondering what people would think about me trying something like that out?

Stopping Commissions and Steam Key Dump
Posted 7 years agoAs the title of the Journal says, I've decided that I'm no longer taking commissions for the foreseeable future. I'm sorry for any who wanted them and for any issues this may potentially cause - as something of an apology, I've decided to make some spare Steam keys available to any who want them. As with the last time I did this, please post a comment if you decide to take any keys, so that others will know thet you've done so.

Birthday Journal~
Posted 7 years agoWell, I'm now twenty-one years old. Hurray for me, I guess~
Decided to make a journal detailing what I got, in case any of my friends were curious.
I didn't particularly ask for much this year, as I'll be going to Warhammer World in a few months' time, so most of what I got was just cash. My nan also contributed a chunk of the money I needed to put towards a new laptop.
I received the books Path of The Dark Eldar - a Warhammer 40,000 omnibus containing three novels - and Kill All Normies: Online Culture Wars From 4chan and Tumblr to Trump and The Alt-Right. I got copies of Rogue One, Shaun of The Dead, and Shin Godzilla on DVD, and CD copies of Ars Militarin by Triarii, and Tomb of Empires by Cryochamber.
You know, it's funny - I remember that. when I turned fourteen, I was confused because I didn't 'feel' fourteen. I definitely don't feel twenty-one, either.

Spare Steam Keys Dump
Posted 7 years agoHey, everyone - I realised that I had a bunch of steam keys leftover from various Humble Bundle things that I'm extremely unlikely to use due to either already owning the games in question or simply not being interested in them, so I figured I'd post them here so that, at the very least, the games would actually get played; and to apologise for the lack of content recently. I know it's not exactly possible to stop a single person from taking every single key for themselves, as this is inherently very much a first come, first served type of thing, but I'd stil llike to request that you only take a few keys each, and leave some for others. In addition, please leave a comment down below if/when you use a key, so that others know it's been used.

Re-Opening Writing Commissions (Slots filled!)
Posted 7 years agoI've decided to re-open writing commissions, albeit doing it a little differently this time, with a single commission slot and three reserve slots. As always, it's first come, first served, so if you want me to write something for you be sure to send me a message, and I'll respond when I'm able to.
If you want information related to commissioning me, such as what subjects I'm willing to write about and how much I charge, it can be found here. If your questions aren't answered by the journal, be sure to send me a note.

Post-Christmas Update
Posted 7 years ago(Late!) Merry Christmas, everyone! I decided to make an update journal on both the free stuff I got this Christmas and general stuff relating to my FA page. So, without further ado, here we go~
My mum likes to make themed Christmas stockings. My dad got a lot of Game of Thrones stuff, since he's a fan of the series - whereas, well, I got wolf stuff.
Lots
And
lots
Of
Wolf
Stuff
I hope you're happy,
rambojoe446. :P
I also got some more Warhammer stuff; specifically for Age of Sigmar - the Blade of the Blood Queen Battleforce box (Read: an absolute shit-tonne of skeletons) and the Spiderfang Grots Venom Clan box - or, a bunch of goblins riding giant spiders (Or, as my mum called them, 'spids'), and a bunch of goblins riding a giant-er giant spider. I also received a box of Empire State Troops from my cousin; or, as they're now called, 'Freeguild Guard'.
I also received a couple of albums, other books, and a DVD box set. The albums I got were Pretty Hate Machine by Nine Inch Nails, and Dreamland Manor by Savage Circus.
The books were Ghal Maraz - an Age of Sigmar novel - by Josh Reynolds and Guy Haley; Yon and Mu's Cat Diary, by horror artist Junji Ito - a light-hearted manga about, well, cats, where most of the comedy comes from the juxtaposition of the subject matter and Junji's infamous art style - and On Liberty, by John Stuart Mill.
The DVD box set was the 'definitive gold box edition' of Twin Peaks. I've never been able to watch the series before and I've heard it has a lot of weird sp00ky shit going on, so it sounds right up my alley.
Oh, and kneesocks. A fucktonne of kneesocks. I count fifteen pairs in total. Now I only need some wrist warmers and I will become the embodiment of this picture. Only cosier.
In regards to writing, You can probably see that I've decided to shut down commissions for the meantime. I'm not sure when I'm going to open them back up again, unfortunately, as I'm currently focusing most of my attention onto personal writing projects. That said, despite my hideous case of writer's block in regards to smut, I've finally come up with some ideas that I feel are actually worth writing about, so hopefully I'll be posting stories focused around them sooner or later.
If I get the time to write over the next week or so I should also be able to post a late Christmas story involving painting the town white in a rather naughty and unconventional fashion. Be careful what you wish for when you want a white Christmas~
In addition, if anyone has any interest in personal worldbuilding projects I've been working on in preparation for interactive stories, do tell me down below and I'll post what I feel is suitable to my Scraps folder.

Anticlimax
Posted 8 years agoI've been stewing over this for the last day or so, trying to figure out what to write - so here goes.
The warehouse job didn't exactly work out. I thought that I'd be able to handle it, and for a little while I was able to. The job description, however, never mentioned that heavy lifting would be involved in any capacity - and so it felt rather humiliating when I quickly became unable to fulfill the basic requirements of the role due to the weight of the objects I was expected to lift, repeatedly dropping several heavy items.
In the end I realised that I'd only end up hurting either myself or those around me due to my almost total inability to do the job - and so I thanked the manager for the opportunity at the end of the first shift, before resigning from the position. Going to give back the high-vis jacket and steel-toed boots to the work agency tomorrow.
I'm sorry for disappointing everyone who put their faith in me.

Going to give back the high-vis jacket and steel-toed boots to the work agency tomorrow.
I'm sorry for disappointing everyone who put their faith in me.
I Got a Job!
Posted 8 years agoA the title says, I've finally managed to find employment - a warehouse operative position during the night shift, to be exact. As I'll be working from 22:00 to 06:00 on a five days on/two days off static roster, talking with a lot of you will be much more awkward - for reference, I live within the GMT+0 timezone.
So yeah, just a heads-up - hopefully I'll still have enough time to finish off some stories I've been working on recently. Thanks to everyone I've talked to about this for their support in my search for work. ~<3

Late Birthday Journal and Update
Posted 8 years agoSo, yeah, it was my birthday yesterday - I would have made a journal then but I forgot. :P
For my 20th birthday I recieved an Imperial Knight Crusader - a big Warhammer 40K super-heavy mech - as well as a small model of a Star Destroyer, and among some other small gifts, and the books Vacuum Diagrams and Xeelee: An Omnibus, by the author Stephen Baxter. As a fan of the Xeelee Sequence series of novels, I was very much pleased by those last two.
I should be able to post some more stuff soon - I have a couple of pieces of art to upload, as well as a couple of short stories. Things have been rather hectic lately, but it feels like everything's finally winding down a touch. With luck, I might be able to post everything tonight.

250 Watchers!

Thanks to anyone that's given me a watch, for whatever reason~ :3c

Another Update
Posted 9 years agoShould have another story part to post relatively soon; just been busy recently - dad's been needing help with finishing off some interior decorationg we've been meaning to get done for years at this point, which has been eating into my time a little. Also, signed up at a group called Manpower UK, which should help me find some temp work in order to get some work experience.
Started taking Prozac/Fluoxetine - sorry if I'd forgotten to tell anyone about that. Not quite sure if it's doing anything just yet but hopefully it'll work out.
Also, thanks to everyone who gave me a watch recently. I know I'm not the quickest or best writer there is but hopefully I'll have some more stuff for you guys soon enough.

Posted 9 years agoSorry I haven't posted anything for so long; just been struggling to write for a while now. I should have something soon, hopefully, if everything goes according to plan.
Back From Holiday
Posted 9 years agoAs the title says.
Holiday Alert
Posted 9 years agoJust wanted to let you all know that I'm going to be going to Australia on the 28th; going to be staying until roughly the 18th of next month. I'm not entirely sure on what the internet situation is going to be like over there so if I disappear for a good while that's the reason.
I suppose if the internet's completely unavailable I could always just find an internet cafe, though, unlikely as that eventuality is.

Back Home Now
Posted 9 years agoAs the title says, I'm back home now - moved out of university accomodation yesterday for the summer holidays. Not quite sure how to feel - on the one hand, stable internet and a fully-functioning shower; on the other, a relative lack of privacy. Should be able to spend more time writing without any university stuff to work on, though - and I get to see my cat again, which is a bonus. He's a noisy arsehole but I still love him. X3
Overall, I'd say I'm glad to be home, even if I liked the sense of independence that came with living in university accomodation.
On the subject of independence, not sure how to feel about the Brexit vote results. My main issue was science funding - and without the EU directly funding a lot of stuff I don't really see the British government stepping in to cough up some change. Still, though, time will tell, I guess. Just hoping nobody I know is too affected by it.

Birthday
Posted 9 years agoWhee, birthday! 19 now, and I'm already feeling old. :P
Sorry for the lack of new content - between university work and sickness, progress on stories has been slow, as of late. Let's hope the Easter holiday will at least give me some time to write, hm?

One-Hundred Watchers
Posted 9 years agoWow, I've got to say, that when I first started posting stories, I never really saw myself getting a hundred watchers at any point. It would have been a nice thing, but probably not something that was actually attainable, especially with the limited time I had in which to write. Having received my hundredth watcher, now, I'm not quite sure how I feel - grateful? Happy?
Regardless, I'd like to say thank you! to any and all who have decided to give my profile a watch, for whatever reason(s) they did so. I'd also like to say thank you to
JamesFoxes, as he was the one who first pushed me to start uploading content onto FurAffinity, and to start writing longer stories.
I do have a milestone story in the works, though it isn't quite finished yet - I thought I would have more time before getting my hundredth watch. As such, it still needs some work to get it finished, but hopefully it shouldn't take too long - and though I don't want to spoil too much about it before it's posted, I think I can reveal the following without giving too much away:
The macro/growing character is an inflatable that I've previously alluded to - and if you've RP'ed with me before, then you may well know who I'm talking about - that is a hermaphrodite, and equine in nature. The story contains light-to-medium Cosmic Horror elements, and the working title is 'Embodiment of Infinity'.
Again, thanks to all of you.

Yet Another Update
Posted 10 years agoSo it's been a couple of weeks since I've posted anything, since I've mainly been focused on things beside the usual fetishy content I put out. I've had a bit of free time recently, though, and so I thought that I'd give you a link to something I've been working on to tide you over for a little bit.
It's not fetishy at all, and thus not really my usual fare, but some of you may remember that a while ago I posted an excerpt from a planned Mass Effect crossover fanfiction. If you want to read it, the first part is up at the following URL:
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/115959.....-Circumference
I'll have more fetish stories for you all soon, don't you worry! :P

An Update
Posted 10 years agoSo, yeah. Been a few weeks or so, and I've gotta say I'm enjoying university so far. Freshers' week was okay, though clubbing isn't really my thing so I didn't go to many of the events.
Pretty much fully adapted to living at uni, now - I guess all of the nervousness and worrying was for nothing, in the end. Got a room in on-campus accommodation about three minutes away from said campus - lets me get up late and still get to class on time. :3
Only thing that I can think of that was actually bad was getting Fresher's Flu last week. Nasty shit, that - had to take a bunch of paracetamol just to function.
So, yeah! I'm settled in and doing relatively well. Course is interesting - doing psychology if I hadn't already mentioned that. Got time to work on stories and commissions, as evidenced by The Pink Badge, which I uploaded a couple of days ago. That said, I do have essays coming up soon, so FA isn't exactly top priority right now.
Thanks to
jamesfoxes,
vdo,
cjcody1989, and anyone else who I missed out that's offered advice and such that helped me adapt to university.
As always, commission information is available here

A heads-up
Posted 10 years agoBeen thinking about whether or not to actually write this for a little while now, but I reckoned anyone waiting on a story deservered to know this if they didn't already.
On the 19th of September, I'll be going to university. There'll be a fresher's week and then classes will start.
I will confess to being rather stressed by this, as this is a measure of responsibility that will be new to me, as I will be living mostly on-campus for the duration of my course. This stress has had a noticeable effect on the speed at which I write, and I know that progress on any and all stories will most likely nigh-on stall once fresher's week starts. If I feel I'm unable to continue working on any commissions and/or requests that I have due to this, I'll be giving whatever progress has been made on them to the appropriate person/people to do wit has they wish, and with the case of commissions, not charging for what has been written.
So, yeah. Just a heads-up.
Also, for anyone who is interested in getting a story from me, check out this journal, as in addition to featuring the relevant information a couple of edits ave been made to what I am willing to write.
nostril genocide sounds like a good idea for a death metal band

Tentatively opening a commission slot
Posted 10 years agoWhile I feel a certain amount of nervousness over doing this, I decided to open up a commission slot after a conversation with a friend. While I have no idea if anyone who reads my stories or watches me is actually interested in getting a commission from me, and have had only limited experience with commissions, I at least know enough to set what seems to be a decent price, and to know what I will and won't write.
In the event of commissioning a story from me, you will receive regular progress updates, as well as notifications on events that may slow down or stop the writing process.
Price: $10 for every 1K words (negotiable). Also, I take payment via PayPal. As has been the way for the commissions I have done so far, payment will be received when the story is complete and the commissioner is satisfied.
(If what you're after in a commission isn't listed below, don't be afraid to ask!)
Subjects I am willing to write about:
Fetishy stuff:
Furries (and scalies, etc), humans, both ferals and anthros, other non-humans (fairies, elementals, etc) macro/micro, growth, breast expansion, penis expansion, muscle growth, hyper (male and female), deification and gods/goddesses, inflatables, breast/butt inflation, milk, master/pet relationships, soft mouthplay, masturbation
Non-fetishy stuff:
War, general violence, gore
Subjects I am not willing to write about:
Fetishy stuff:
Vomit, coprophilia, farting, slob, fat/obesity, belly inflation, vore, babying
Non-fetishy stuff:
Not much, depends on an individual basis
EDIT: After a few roleplays and some short writing excercises, I have become more comfortable with portraying vaginal and anal sex. For now, they're on a case by case basis rather than a flat yes or no.
Preferred settings: soft and medium-hard sci-fi, high and dark fantasy, modern day
Well, that seems to be a reasonably comprehensive list. Remember to ask me if what you wanted isn't on any of the lists.
If anyone is actually interested in getting a commission from me, be sure to send me a note or leave a comment - and remember, I'm only opening a single slot for now, so if you are interested make sure to ask before someone else does!
EDIT 1: Decided to open up three reserve slots in case of people wanting a commission when one is already being written.
