What to bring: Booze, Snacks, Board Games, Video Games (WiiMotes+ and Gamecube Controllers), Fursuits, etc.
Whats Hoppin’:
This year’s Christmas Holiday Party will be at the RooPad!
It’ll be an all day event, feel free to stop by through-out the day for the festivities.
Please BYOB / Mixers if you’d like to drink as well.
I do have a decent collection of booze as some of you may know!
Other baked goods and such are always welcomed for festive parties!
Meals will be debated on by the group, no solid plans as, lets be honest, I’m a terrible cook! <3
If someone has a table or a few fold out chairs, that would be much appreciated as the RooPad 2.0 doesn’t currently have either for tabletop games.
(Though may be able to borrow a table from work for the event!

Just because I have 11/11 off, I wanted to extend an invite to Trivia night in Detroit Lakes at Zorbaz at 7 PM. Comment here or PM me if interested. It usually goes until 9 or 10. You are welcome to crash at my place if needed.

I have been asked many times, and I have decided to make NeeviCon happen again :0)
There are many new faces I have seen since the last event, and even more that I haven't seen! =O You are welcome to come and go as you please. Bring video games (I don't have anything beyond a PS2). Bring board games if you desire (I have Cards Against Humanity and a few magic decks). Bring anything you may want to share or do to keep occupied. I also have a few anime and classic comedies we can watch. Also, chromecast is a thing. There is no agenda except to hang out and have fun.
No alcohol will be served. There may be a #poutinecon at the bar across the street if enough interest and if we can find a table big enough. This gathering will be 18+ not because I will striptease, but because it is just easier that way for me.
I have plenty of floor space, but would encourage people to bring your favorite sweater, pillow, or blanket just in case supplies run out as the apartment can get cold.
Please comment below or PM me if interested in coming and I will send you the location. I don't expect an overwhelming response, but I would like to know how many people to expect just in case it is becoming too high and I need to get a bigger location

It's that time again, time for us all to get a group commission! It has been awhile since the last one and there have been a few new fluff butts to join the RRVFs.
The cost will only be $25 per person/character and the artist will be the same one who did our Christmas commission. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/pixelsunshine
They have reserved the month of November for us and are very excited to work with us again! That only leaves about two weeks for us to get the word out and collect the reference sheets, money, and pose details. So please, spread the word and act fast so we can make this the best group commission yet!
The theme is gonna be a Thanksgiving meets The Last Supper! So everyone will be on one side of the table doing whatever pose or action you can think of! Let's get as many of the RRVFs in this one as possible!

On Friday July 31st and Saturday August 1st I will be having a Grill and Games weekend at my place. If you bring it I'll grill it! Expect a great gathering with movies, games, food, and friends!
Expect things to get started at 5pm and go as late as people like both nights. Bringing food donations for a pot luck is highly suggested!
I'd like to try running the event out of my garage to give people even more room if weather permits.

So, Yellowstone ended up not 100% working out for everyone, and reservations were a bit tough! (Something I'll plan much further in advance next time.)
To those still interested in a camping trip however, we have swapped over to Maplewood State Park! Let me know if you'd be interested in still attending this trip so we can flesh out the details
Maplewood is approximately one hour away from Fargo.
We will still need other tents and other simple camping supplies. Also, always in need of drivers depending on how many would like to attend!
Where: Maplewood State Park (Pelican Rapids)
When:Aug.7th to Aug 9th
Current Confirmed Headcount:
Roo-ness: Bringing Two Tents
Sieran: Can Drive / Bring Car
Bucha: Can Drive / Bring Truck

Also, we will be returning to West Acres bowl for another round of furry bowling :0)
When: Friday June 12 2015, 9-11 PM
Where: 3402 Interstate Blvd S, Fargo, ND 58103; (701) 235-4437
They have two hour slots starting at 9PM. So 9-11 PM it is! RRVF will pick up the cost of the lane rental. Shoe rental is ~ $4
I will be able to provide rides from CoreCon if people are interested in carpooling around 8:30PM
Shout if you are also able to chauffeur.
If they have enough bowlers, they go cosmic! But they don't make the call until the night before :V
PLEASE SHOUT HERE IF YOU ARE ABLE TO GO TO I CAN MAKE SURE WE HAVE ENOUGH LANES TO ACCOMODATE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

After speaking with the majority of you, we have a solid date for our trip!
The Yellowstone Adventure shall take place during July 18th (Saturday) to July 20th (Monday).
Depending on the drivers, we may opt to leave Friday night around 6pm or 8pm to get a headstart and arrive in Yellowstone early morning on Saturday.
Yellowstone is around 12 hours away from Fargo.
I would like to get a head count of who is all attending, and who is willing to drive to sort out carpooling. Don't want to leave anyone behind!

Hey there everyone! As Spring continues to surround us, it’s always fun to be outside and with your pack. Why not be with your pack in a fun public setting like a big park. With this being said, I am hosting another fun fursuit romp at Loring Park in Minneapolis. This park also has a very nice sculpture garden.
This will also be on the last day of AniMinneapolis. For those that do not want to go home right away, I will suggest that you come out and join us for another round of fun! :)
This is the first time at this park and parking was the trickiest thing to pinpoint. I have decided to have this at the Convention Center ramp (or Loring Ramp) which is attached to the Hyatt Regency Hotel (also the FM hotel). This ramp is also very close to the park and walking to/from is about 5-6 minutes. This parking ramp is a bit pricey so I suggest that people car pool to help share those costs. For those that may not be able to cover the parking cost, you are free to find your own means of parking, but the Loring Ramp will be where we will meet.
During the romp, I will running around doing photography and will be readily available with questions and other requests!

An event has been proposed by roo-ness and I believe a few others may know about it.
It is time to make it official and start the planning.
This journal is to gauge interest and start discussion to facilitate more concrete planning in the days to come. It would likely be a 3-day weekend in June, July, August, or Juloon (as stated by Roo). It is ~ a 12 hour drive from Fargo I am informed.
Shout if you are interested and if you might be able to help drive.

whitewolf009 plans to check out the newly reopened DETROIT MOUNTAIN this weekend and would love for you to join him!
When: 2/21/15 ~ as early as 9 AM
This place offers outdoor winter activities.

I have not asked if fursuit friendly.

I topic of discussion over the last few months has been how to notify folks of upcoming events and remind them of such.
Personally, I don't see how hard it is to check out the FA page, but that's just me :0)
The good news is that there are a lot of wonderful folks in this part of the country. The bad news is that there are too many people to notify everyone individually (which historically has been the best method)
Some options discussed were the use of group text messages, third parry apps, and third party apps with push notifications to people's cell phones, websites that send out text messages. I don't remember specific names, but I'm counting on you all to bring them up again!
Here is a place to discuss what you think is a great idea... and what you think is a terrible idea... and if you don't care. In a perfect world, you guys and gals would be all over this post and we can have enough info to make a poll or take direct action.
