Go! Go! Go!

So for the last month I have been involved with a closed beta of a game that is slated to be released May 1st. After playing through it for close to 60 hours already over two weekends I have to say it is one of the best MMO's I have had the pleasure of playing. The race and class distinctions are fantastic and the playability is smooth. It is being heralded as the official WoW killer and after what I have seen I think it has the potential of backing up it's claim. So anyone who is looking for a great new game to play (and yes it is roughly $15 a month) you should check it out.

I know I'm not the most vocal person on this site, in fact since I joined it on September 26th, 2011 07:42pm CST this is only the second journal I have ever posted. I don't have a lot of favorites, I have even less work up in my gallery and I don't have a huge watch list going in and out. Yet I feel that I am a contributing member of this site, I check each day usually and view close to 90% of the submissions and journals that are posted. I even read each and every note that comes through my inbox and respond to them in a reasonable time period. What bothers me is when I note another person, wait a while then check the sent section and see that they have read my note, wait longer just in case they read it but have not gotten the chance to respond and yet... they never respond. Whether it be something as simple as thanking a new watcher and out of curiosity ask them what made them decide to watch me because remember, I don't have stuff posted up often so it's not because of something that I recently got out there. Or the worst part is when I ask someone who's art style I absolutely love and admire if they will be opening for commissions soon since their last journal two months ago mentioned them opening. Let me ask you something friends and fellow readers, is this such an evil note that it has to be ignored?

"I haven't been on lately so I might have missed something, but I was wondering if you would be opening for commissions anytime soon. You are one of my favorite artists on here with your art style and I would really love to be able to commission you for some artwork. Anyways I hope I'm not bothering you and hope to hear back from you one way or another soon."

I mean seriously? I asked one question in that entire note and I can't even get a simple response? Is it that difficult to write something even as simple as... "I'm sorry, I am not currently open for commissions, and I don't know when I will be." Took me a grand total of 15 seconds to type that, and that was with me having to hit the backspace twice to correct for a keyboard error.

It just really bothers me that people are so inconsiderate that they can't even take 30-60 seconds to send a simple reply.
