These past months of absence have been incredibly challenging for me. After losing my mom, my life changed profoundly, and I truly needed this time to gather my thoughts and gradually rebuild my world.

I admit I tried coming back earlier, but I simply wasn't ready yet. Still, I've missed the creativity and our amazing community atmosphere here so much!

Well, I've been gone for quite a while. I'm currently trying to get my life back on track after some serious upheavals. My mom died. It happened about a month ago, and I'm still trying to come to terms with it and pull myself together. At first, I was just cleaning up the house, sorting out paperwork and other things. And now I’m trying not to fall out of society, to maintain communication with many who came to my aid during a difficult period.
My mother has been seriously ill since 2014. Over the past few months, the cancer has left her very debilitated, and treatment has stopped helping. All these years I hoped that the disease would recede; we tried a huge number of lines of therapy, and each one gave us hope at first. But over time, they all stopped working, and my mother's condition slowly worsened. In October, her body stopped fighting the disease. She was losing her strength, dying in my arms. She's gone.
Now, I'm trying to force myself to live. I'm forcing myself to do at least something. I try to spend some time with my brothers, they help me to get my head and my affairs in order. I will try to return to work here soon. Creativity is what I would like to continue doing, it is what inspires me. I am grateful to each of you for your support, thank you for staying with me.

Hi, I would like to apologize for the lack of content update this week, my health has been a little down this month and I haven't had a chance to spend time working. I haven't made posts like this before, but it seems many authors do this sometimes, so I'll clarify my situation.
First, I had an unexplained increase in blood pressure over the weekend. The high value persisted for a couple of days and was not relieved by symptomatic medications, which I sometimes very rarely use. And when I continued to have headaches for the third day in a row, I still called an ambulance. They gave me an ECG and lowered my blood pressure with an intravenous infusion of Magnesium sulfate, I instantly felt better, and I was finally able to get some sleep. The next morning I underwent an additional examination and passed the necessary tests. The doctor prescribed me several medications to treat arterial hypertension, and for a couple of weeks I tried to remain calm and not stress myself.
But when I tried to return, I was only able to work for one week, and I had another problem. My right hand began to hurt very much, I could no longer hold the stylus, as there was numbness and severe weakness in my hand. Having gone back to the hospital, I was diagnosed with “carpal tunnel syndrome”, I think in English it is called “RSI syndrom” - it occurs due to prolonged monotonous work with the hands in one position (in my case due to the stylus)
There was no specialized doctor in my city, so the therapist simply prescribed me an anti-inflammatory drug. For about a week I could not do anything with my hand due to pain and limited movement, Diclofenac ointment helped for a short time, but after that the pain returned. And then I remembered that I have an ancient vibrating massager. After using it on my wrist, I gradually began to feel relief from the strong vibration. I continued to do this aggressive massage for about 3 days, and lo and behold, every day it became easier for me, until one day I woke up with a completely healthy arm, which was even somewhat unexpected.
And 2 days later I got sick again, but with rhinitis. I think I caught it at a hospital I visited earlier. For about 2 more weeks I was out of action again.
Well, in any case, I feel much better now, and I had the strength to sit down and write this. I hope the black streak is over and I can now resume work and produce content for you.

Last summer, I built myself a new computer. The result is a fairly powerful system for me, given that I practically do not play games.
I got an interesting experience, since I hadn’t done anything like this before, except that I changed thermal paste and drives in an old laptop.
For about 10 months, I used the new PC without any problems.

But a few days ago, just a couple of minutes after starting, the computer crashed and an error appeared with a blue screen and various artifacts.
Since in the past, a blue screen on an old laptop usually did not carry any consequences, I did not attach any importance to this and rebooted the PC using the power button.
The reboot was followed by a message: Reboot and Select proper Boot device...
After restarting the PC again and entering the BIOS, I found that any drives were not listed. First, I tried restarting the PC a few more times (usually this solves all problems). But the operating system did not start, and the drive was still missing from the BIOS.
Resetting the BIOS settings did not work (I even removed the motherboard battery)
I ended up removing the heatsink from my M.2 SSD and saw that the thermal pad on the heatsink was wet where the drive was attached, and it was also wet. I believe this is a sign of the drive overheating and melting of the thermal pad (although during system tests the temperature did not rise above 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit), according to the drive's built-in sensor.



Over the next few days, I tried all the ways to restore the drive that I found, but this did not work.
Tried changing BIOS settings. Experimented with drive power cycles. Relocated the drive to an old laptop. And even tried to run it using the M.2-USB adapter. I also checked the M.2 connectors on the motherboard using another working drive that I borrowed from a friend for testing. His system started successfully on my PC.



As a result. M.2 SSD NMVe 1Tb - totally broken with all graphic projects. And what is most offensive, I lost 90+ pages of text and illustrations of the project with the lore of the universe that I was developing. Very disappointing! 😭

And yes, I talked to the manufacturer of the SSD, they can only provide me with a replacement, but not a file recovery. That is, I was offered to send my SSD with all the information in exchange to get the same new one. For obvious reasons, I will not send a system disk with an operating system and personal data in exchange for a dummy. Perhaps one day I will find a specialist who can help me personally.
So for now, I'll be sad for a while. ☹️

I found several replacement options for my broken drive, but at the moment it's too expensive for me due to domestic difficulties. So we have to redistribute the budget to other vital things.
