Learning to walk.
Posted 10 years agoSo according to everyone I have talked to between all the mess that is now my foot.... Two shattered bones that are now attatched to two titanium plates and a broken heel...as well as muscle and nerve damage from falling down 19 steel and concrete steps at work on the 24th of February. When I am allowed to put pressure on my foot I will have to do physical therapy to relearn how to walk. I keep being told I am lucky but I find no luck in my situation, workmens comp is fighting to change my doctor for me because he doesn't care. After he finished my surgery he called my grandfather even though my mom is my emergency contact. My grandfather told the doctor to call my mom and the doctor got rude and said he was already talking. I have yet to meet my doctor...his office would not give me anti nausea medicine and told me to go back to the hospital... My work mens comp adjuster had to get on them about pain meds after I have been calling them since Monday trying to get more. It took them until a week after my surgery to tell me I broke my heel, I still don't know all the damage the steel and concrete steps caused to my poor leg. I do know I have nerve damage though, if I push right above my knee cap I have sharp tingling sensations that run along my leg and always in my big toe now. I really don't know how much more I can take. Though I am happy to say I will still be going to FWA...had to change my transportation and room around though. I called the hotel this morning and had them change my room to a handicap room and I am thankful to say I have great friends who will be helping me out

Posted 10 years agoI fell down 20 steps at work and broke both sides of my ankle....they are doing surgery to put plates in my ankle and keeping me overnight
Pain during the holidays
Posted 11 years agoI know that it is getting close to Christmas but as of this moment I don't care about them one bit. I am in pain and really should have called the police last night. I was out playing pool and singing Karaoke with my family last night when we started playing around dropping pieces of ice down each others shirts. I dropped a piece of it down my half sisters shirt and turned around and what does she do....She takes the tray full of Billiard balls and throws them into the center of my back... I got home and had to take part of a pain pill because I was in so much pain, and because around my spine between my shoulder blades was starting to swell. For me to take even half a pain pill is saying something after my wrist surgery when my left wrist locked I took one of my pain pills only 3 times and one of those was the day of my surgery. Just sitting down at my desk is bringing tears to my eyes because it hurts so badly.
I really don't know what is wrong with my family. They are all fucking insane. They don't care who they hurt or how badly. She could have broken my back yesterday but do I even get an apology...no. And what happens to her. She gets a lecture. If I had done it to her I would be in jail right about now.

So this made me really sad.
Posted 11 years agoI was talking to my little sister yesterday and she was talking about how she got new art of her character. The art was absolutely gorgeous, knowing I got art from the artists before I knew it was going to be amazing. And then my sister said the artist wanted to see my art....I no longer draw because of surgery I had a couple of years ago when I overuse my hand it wants to lock in place. My little sister started saying she can't draw like me, I told her it takes practice but she just says she has no talent for it like I do. I just don't like not being able to do anything so I keep practicing. With her if she can't do it the first time she just quits.

I am not
Posted 11 years agoA good friend over and over I prove that to myself and to people that I care about. A friend payed for me to go on a cruise to the Bahamas and I avoided him as much as O could. My best friend is down and I can't help him. He lives to far away for me to hug and even if he did live closer I wouldn't be good to be around. I don't keep friends for long because I am a horrible person and I am to damaged for anyone to deal with. I am mean and selfish. I think I am better off just leaving everyone alone....
