General | Posted 18 years agoDecided to go through my personal gallery and upload some things that probably haven't been seen before, or have but just on the respective artist's sites.
Oh, speaking of which: For god sakes, people, read the damned description under the submissions. The only thing that I know how to do is write. So anything that is put on either this gallery or my fetish bible (but especially my fetish bible) is not my own artwork. So don't comment on my submission and tell me how great of a job I did drawing it, because that's retarded. I don't know anyone that has so diverse a style that they can switch between seemingly one style and the next just on a whim. I'm not exception. Aside from that, I enjoy comments, just make sure your commenting is informed. :)
On a different note, yeah, I'm still working out, I've just completely forgotten to put up any more progress photos for this month. I figured that I'd hold off a bit since it keeps slipping my mind and such.

Stuff and things.
General | Posted 18 years agoSchool is about to end, which means some increased stress levels due to things like finals and stuff. It's not too terrible, but it means some slowing of updates here on my pages. Not to worry though, I'll have a whole month off of school, which means not having to worry too much about things, and that'll hopefully mean more updates. :)
Speaking of updates, I've decided that, while being skinny is nice, I want to try for a different body build. Which means, that I've been seriously getting into the idea of working out. I have a good friend who's a personal trainer, and he wrote me up a fitness plan that'll help me achieve my goals, and I joined a 24 hour fitness that has all the equipment I need. So, with a little effort and lots of patience, I should eventually start to see some results.
As an interesting little side-project, I'll go ahead and take a couple of 'progress pictures' of myself at the beginning of each month and post them to this account so that you all can see how I'm doing (if you're at all interested, that is). Don't get me wrong, I'm not going into this expecting some huge change all of a sudden, which is why I said only once a month. It's not something to obsess over, it's just something to help me stay in shape, and maybe gain some other benefits on the side. I mean, seriously, who's going to say no to visible muscle size? :)
That's about it for now. Hope you're all having a good start to your own respective summers as well.

Taxes and things.
General | Posted 18 years agoSchool's been letting up, so I'm less stressed. Good news for all, right?
I don't have much of an update at the moment, since life has quite literally been school. Not that this isn't okay, I mean, it's about time that I buckled down and made something more of myself, right? I do, however, need to post a little rant about taxes and my parents.
My parents always use the same tax guy every year. It's cool, he's relatively inexpensive and seems to give my parents the best out of their money. Some of you, however, may remember my utter disappointment when my parents said that they'd submit my taxes two years ago through that guy (because they're nice) and, for some reason, according to their tax guy, I wasn't getting anything back. It was bullshit, and after doing my own little sample tax thing for that year, I found out that I should have gotten something like three hundred dollars back, but there's nothing I can do about it now until the IRS catches up and realizes the mistake (which they're pretty good about doing, it just takes them a while sometimes).
So we get to last year's taxes. I only worked for a week or so last year before quitting and going back to school, which was the only reason that I needed to have taxes done at all. My parents decided to just do them for me, since they're claiming me as a dependent, so everything's good. I have to sign my portion of the taxes thing (because I had some taxable income) and get a very small amount of return, and everyone walks away happy. No. Apparently that can't happen. Yesterday, I drive down to my folks' place so that I can sign the papers. My dad opens the folder, takes out my packet of papers and hands it to me. The little folder is in my hands for two seconds before I say "This isn't mine."
Apparently, their tax guy accidentally switched packets somehow. I ended up getting the tax packet of some guy named John Donahue or something like that, and mine is nowhere to be seen. So, at this point I'm pretty well convinced that this tax guy is a complete moron and my parents aren't too far behind them. I mean, I hate to be mean, but it's pretty obvious who's tax packet it is, because the amount of annual income and the person's name is listed prominently at the top and in several places on the thing. The thing that boggles my mind the most is that everyone who handled that document between the printer it came from and myself completely missed the fact that it wasn't mine. I mean, all it would have taken is a five second check to see who's it was, but not one person bothered. So now, another packet has to be printed for me, and I have to drive down to my folks' house once again just to sign something that should have been done right the first time.
Needless to say, I'm really annoyed with their tax guy. When I start making a taxable income again, I most certainly will not be going through him. Ever.
That's my rant, thanks for listening. :)

Update.
General | Posted 18 years agoNothing real interesting has been happening, but I figured I'd post something up just to let you all know that I'm still alive and still doing well.
Let's see here... School. It's been dominating most of my life at the moment. Finally I have a challenge, the mortuary science program is the most difficult round of schooling that I've ever had before. Nothing in my twelve years of public school and three years of previous college education can even hold a candle to this program. I've had to adjust my study habits to a severe degree in order to keep up, and at first I wasn't doing as well as I would have liked because of how mentally unprepared I was at first.
Unfortunately, this means that I may be getting mostly C's this semester, but not because I'm lazy or hate any of the subjects being taught about, it'll be because of the hole I dug myself and how difficult it's been to dig my way back out again. It's fine though, it's a learning experience. As long as I get at least a C in every class, I can move on to the other classes next semester and beyond, and keep those study habits from the previous semester.
Of course, this doesn't mean that I want C's in my classes, oh no. Finally I'm doing something that I really want to do in my life, why settle for less than my best in terms of work ethic? It honestly saddens me that I may not get better than a C in one or two of these classes because of how hard I'm really willing to work at it. We'll see how things go though, I'm not even half way through the semester just yet after all.
In other news: I've finally decided that putting away some of the money that my folks give me every month would be a better idea than spending it all on things that I really and truly don't need. There are my needs which I take care of with most of the money, but usually I spend some extra here and there for gadgets and toys or commissions for the Fetish Bible, etc. I think it's about time to save up, just in case I'm going to need the money sometime in the near future. You never know when you'll need that cushion. Plus, since I know I'll more than likely be moving again once I'm done with my school stuff down here, I'd have more than enough money to get myself moved with little to no problem, without having to ask my folks for extra cash, a bonus.
I suppose that's about it for now. Until Next Time.

Birthday and things.
General | Posted 18 years agoSo yeah, my birthday is in six days (Feb. 11th). Just wanted to let you guys know. Don't worry about getting me anything, since I'm more than content with the things that I have. All I ask is some birthday well-wishes and stuff.
In other news, life is pretty good so far. School is not as stress-laden as I had thought it'd be, and I'm burning through my classes with eager determination, since all of the subjects are things that I actually want to learn this time.
A note on PCD: yeah, I have it a little bit, but it's not too bad. Conventions are very surreal experiences for me really. It's kind of like taking the internet-based fandom and throwing it all up in real life within the confines of a single hotel for a few days. When it's gone, and you go back to the regular internet, it's just not the same, mostly because there's not as much in terms of actual social interaction between furries. Oh well, there's always next year.
I do have to say though, that next year I'll be planning to either wear a gas-mask or bring a few cans of fabreeze with me. One thing I will not miss about conventions ever is the frequent lack of hygiene, so a friendly reminder is always a good thing to prepare for those certain people out there who don't think it's offensive to others to not bathe. :)

FC and stuff.
General | Posted 18 years agoFor those of you who don't normally read my livejournal or look at my fetish bible page: I'll be going to Further Confusion this year. Hope to see most if not all of you there. :)
On vacation
General | Posted 18 years agoThis is your favorite dragon, broadcasting live from his brand new iPhone (a gift from the folks). I'm spending time with my boyfriend, Brokenwing after this last semester at school (which I managed to pass without trouble, though that isn't too much of a surprise to me). Those of you who see me online often should have been told that I would be gone for a week or so. If not, then this is your official notification.
Anyway, go see Sweeney Todd! Brokenwing and I saw it last night and it was made of awesome, enough said.
Well, that is all for now. Hope you all have a wonderful new year's. ^..^

General | Posted 18 years agoOops, I guess I was lax in checking and updating this alt page. ^..^ My bad. Thanks for your patience either way.
So news with me, for those who haven't been paying attention to my livejournal: Last week I was accepted to the mortuary science program at my school, which means that I'll actually be working toward my career goal at last, after moving between two states and being in school for three years to do it. That's about it for the big news though. My life is currently consumed with working on the last bit of my classes now, since the semester is coming to a close. Hopefully I'll come out the other side intact, but we'll see what the holiday season brings for me, eh?
Either way, if I don't get to update before then, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Halloween
General | Posted 18 years agoWell, happy halloween everyone. Unfortunately, it falls on a wednesday, as most of you have probably already noticed. :) Wednesday means no partying for me, since I have classes tonight until about nine and class in the early morning at around eight. Normally, I'd just skip classes on one or the other day, but I can't miss anymore class this semester. That's what I get for being a lazy dragon earlier on in the year.
So, I hope you all have fun tonight!

First 'serious' journal
General | Posted 18 years agoThanks for all of you that've watched over from the Fetish Bible. It's great to know that I have so many friends and fans! :)
Now, I don't have much to post on for now, but I'll just let you all know, that mostly what you'll see here in this journal are stuff that's going to be reflected in my Livejournal. So, when I post something here, it's probably because I finally decided to update from over there as well.
Like I said, I wanted to have a space to put other stuff that won't necessarily fit in with the fetish bible, because though it's a fun project that I like doing, it's not really all of who I am, you know? Sometimes I've gotta have a space to post artwork that I personally asked for for my own reasons, rather than for some project. So, here it is, and you're all welcome to come read and enjoy any other stuff that I'll post up here.
So, without further ado, some thoughts: On the subject of reposting artwork by other artists onto my page... There seems to be some odd (and often, awkward) controversy over whether or not it's polite to be posting artwork onto one's FA page that was drawn by other artists. Though we really aren't exposed to much of this controversy (because not a lot of people even view it as such), I have heard some complaints from a few people regarding my fetish bible and how I'm simply art whoring and really shouldn't be allowed to post any of that stuff up, since it wasn't drawn by me at all.
Well, first of all, that's BS. As far as I'm concerned, that artwork is mine. Either I paid for it (and have the transaction history to prove it) or they were gifts to me by the artists in question. If it's my artwork, then why shouldn't I be allowed to post it on my FA page? Now, granted, this isn't to say that credit shouldn't go to the artists in question. After all, they did draw everything there, but as long as you credit the artist, then it's all good.
And that concludes today's rant, stay tuned until next time.
