Commissions Open!
Posted 4 years agoHey all,
Now that the school year is underway and I'm settling into a routine, I find myself relatively free for some writing, so I'm going to open up for four commission slots. You all know my general gist by now; I specialize in muscle growth and weight gain, fantasy and adventure. I have a flat rate of $15 for 1000 words, and a rough limit of 5000 words a story.
Things I WILL Do:
-Muscle Growth
-Weight Gain
-Transformation
-Macro/Micro
-Sexual scenarios (case-by-case basis)
-Hyper (case-by-case basis)
Will work with characters of any gender
Things I WON'T Do:
-Scat
-Gore
-Male Pregnancy
-Cumflation
-Inflation
-Anything involving feral characters or underage characters
Feel free to reach out to me here on FA or DM's! Thanks for your consideration.
Take care and God bless,
-Renard

Posting Some of Conner's Art
Posted 4 years agoHey, all-
So, I've been thinking on this for months, I've asked permission and opinions from friends, and I'm going to post some commissions I got from Conner before he passed, but never posted. I think it's time to start honoring and celebrating his memory, and for me, I hope it's going to be the last step to come to terms with everything that happened. He was my friend, and I'm sharing this art because it's good work, and I want his work to be celebrated. He was a talented artist, and he deserved that. I'll also, later, post some of my favorite stories I wrote with his illustrations for Big Stories, now that I'm moving on there, too.
So, that's that. I wanted to explain why I'm posting this stuff now, and I know some of you may not want to see it, or be entirely comfortable seeing it- but I'd like to share it because I don't want his last works to just be forgotten and never even seen by anyone. That's all for now.
Take care and God bless,
-Renard

Commissions Full!
Posted 4 years agoHello all!
After a month to get school squared away, I have decided it's time to re-open for commissions. You know the drill by now; I do stories about weight gain and muscle growth, and can be talked into other situations- I'm opening up for 3 slots right now, so please let me know if you're interested. I have a flat rate of $15 for 1000 words, and a rough limit of 5000 words a story. Please let me know through Notes or DMs- hope to hear from you all soon!
Just for a quick refresher, I appreciate the notices so far, but here are my general Will's and Won'ts:
Will:
Muscle growth
Weight gain
Macro/Micro
General Fantasy/Science Fiction/Adventure
Hyper (Case-by-case basis)
Sex in general (Case-by-case basis)
Will work with characters of any gender
Won't:
Scat
Gore
Male Pregnancy
Cumflation
Inflation
Anything involving feral characters or underage characters
Update: Thank you, everyone, for your support! I had a lot of options to choose from, and some very fun ideas to work with, but to make it fair, I picked a few at random. I'm only taking three for now, but I will post another journal when I'm done with them, which will hopefully be soon!
God bless,
-Renard

Commission Hiatus
Posted 4 years agoHey, all.
I've been debating about this particular announcement for a while, now. You all know that, about a month and a half ago, I lost my best friend in the fandom, Conner. It was a huge blow to me, my friends, and everyone who knew him- but now, the dust has settled, and many people have gotten back to their lives, myself included. School still needed to be taken care of, and with it all its attached drama from lazy students, overly entitled parents, and incompetent administration. My dad was also diagnosed with cancer back in January, but thankfully, he's been in a stable condition and will begin chemotherapy soon. Still, it's been a lot, and outside of dad, there's not been any real improvements, and it's been dragging on me a bit.
And that brings me to my commission list. I know almost all of you have been remarkably patient with me, and I appreciate it, but I think I need to take a more clean break- of my remaining commissions, two of them involve Conner's characters, and that's not something I'm ready to tackle, while most of the others are difficult to tackle. Some of them I was working on the day it happened, and it's difficult to come back to those. So, I'm cancelling my commission list. No one's paid me in advance, so it should be a minimal hassle for people. I apologize to those that were looking forward to their commissions, but I think this is better than stringing people along- and, again, I don't accept advance payments, so no one should be out any cash.
Now, does this mean I'm taking a hiatus from writing altogether? No. I actually really do want to continue writing, I have so many ideas- but I have a very limited pool of time until school ends in about a month. I also restarted Big Stories, which I'll give more details on later. Right now, besides Patreon, I just want to focus on personal writing with what time I have for it.
Will I reopen for commissions? Yes. I need to clear this off my to-do list for now, but I will re-open commissions most likely over the summer, once I've had a chance to recharge/recover from the school year. I'll make an announcement when I'm open again, though I will most likely limit myself to three or five at a time.
So, that's the long and the short of it. I appreciate your understanding in this situation, and I do want to continue to entertain and titillate with more stories about big animal people getting bigger. I just need a little more space for the time being.
Take care and God bless,
-Renard

The End of It
Posted 4 years agoHello, all.
I still can’t quite believe I’m typing this. And I’m not sure what’s entirely appropriate.
Last night,
connercoon or
rockytheprocy, if you knew him by that name, passed away. You probably have heard he was in the hospital fighting off COVID and a secondary infection brought on by pneumonia, and last night, that fight ended.
He was my best friend. A mentor, in some respects. I would never have gotten my book off the ground if not for him. He was kind to a fault- he gave people more chances than they deserved. He was slow to anger, generous, warm, and fun-loving. He constantly worked to improve his art, and I don’t think he ever realized how popular he really was. For this community, he was a role model- never saying an unkind word about someone in public, never getting mired in petty drama, and always treating his commissioners with professionalism and putting his all into every piece. To his friends, even when he didn’t know what to say, he stayed by them, offering anything he could. In our tabletop games, he was a master role player, and let some of his best qualities shine- or his sense of humor shine, vacillating between noble heroes and quirky little gremlins we all fell in love with.
I’m fortunate enough to have many, many fond memories of him. Memories that’ll help me get through this. If you have thoughts or prayers to give, give them to his family, and his husband. Silver Stag and I will have to talk about the growth drive, as all the money will still be going to help out Faux in what is, frankly, a living nightmare.
It goes without saying that I don’t think I’ll be doing any commission work for a while. I apologize. If I do write, I think for my own good I’ll focus on personal projects. At least for a little while.
If you do want to help out Conner's husband before we get the Growth Drive back up and running again, you can donate here: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/fauxesune

February 2021 Update
Posted 4 years agoHey all,
Just an update since I haven't posted anything here since October. Things have, ah, not been great. Many of you will know by now that one of my best friends, Conner, is in the hospital, recovering from COVID- it's put a pause on Patreon work, naturally, but I've also just come to a standstill when it comes to writing. I've had a lot weighing me down lately- not least of which being, Conner's not the only loved one who's got medical issues, as my dad's cancer treatment has hit a snag that- to grossly oversimplify- won't be overcome until his chronic back problems are fixed. Hoo-rah.
But perhaps the biggest drag, really, is my job. I've come to absolutely revile my job as a teacher- at least for this year. It's not from a concern of catching COVID- just working around the damn thing. I've never felt more disrespected or ignored in my professional life, not just by my students, but by my administration, which has constantly belittled me and the rest of the school's middle school team. Not once has anything ever been done to actually make our jobs easier or our teaching more effective- it's all to make things easier for the students, ie, make it so it's practically impossible to fail because that makes the school's numbers look bad. I'd quit if I weren't under contract, and aware that I wouldn't be able to find anything that pays as well on short notice.
I could go on. The bottom line is, my drive to write anything has just been sapped entirely. I really, really want to get my commissions done- but I also recognize that it's unreasonable to wait that long, so please get in touch if you want yours dropped; I completely understand. In the days to come, I want to write because at this point, I need to for my own sake- hopefully I have something ya'll like soon.
And, again, this is just as an explanation, not as a pity party. If you have well wishes to give, I'm happy to take them, but also spare a thought to my friends and family, first- my biggest problem is a neurotic tendency to fret. My dad, Conner, the other teachers- they all have bigger things to worry about.
God bless,
-Renard

Commission and General Life Update
Posted 5 years agoHey all,
It's been a hot minute! I'm reaching out tonight because I want to apologize for the stark delays in commissioned work. You may have noticed I've been keeping up with Patreon and the Donald Duck growth drive, if only barely, but I've not been posting any commissions or other stories, and for that, I really am sorry.
The answer is simple: being a teacher in 2020 is frankly insane. This past week alone, I've been stuck at school for 12+ hour shifts every day besides Friday, taking care of Parent/Teacher conferences. I didn't think it would be this bad, or I wouldn't have taken as many commissions as I did. Now, I'm not typing this out of sympathy- many of you have been kind enough to check in with me, but, really, I'm fine, just a bit stressed and lacking some sleep- and I still have the drive to write, just not the time. So, if you can bear with me, I'll get to the commissions soon- the weeks ahead are going to be more forgiving, schedule wise, so I should have more free time. However, if your circumstances have changed or you're not willing to wait for your commission, I absolutely understand- just let me know.
And that's all I have! Keep it together, everyone- there's just two months of 2020 left.
Take care and God bless,
-Renard

Open For Commissions!
Posted 5 years agoHello all!
So, a very quick life update- I've moved into my own place, rooming with
silver-stag! We've had a few weeks to settle in, and I've got my writing bug back again. Now that I have all the free time in the world (until August) I want to let the creative juices flowing. I am, however, going to raise my prices slightly- for years now, I've had the same going rate for all my stories. Now that I got those bills to pay, however, I'm going to (slightly!) raise my rates. Here on in, I will be charging $15 for 1000 words. I think I've been able to fine-tune my writing to deliver a higher quality story, so I look forward to doing business with you! Drop a note here if you have an idea; I'll be taking three commission slots for now!
I am also open to the idea of trades; if you're a fellow writer, drop me a line, and we can see what we can get underway. :)
Take care and God bless,
-Renard

So About Those Commissions...
Posted 6 years agoHey all,
I wanted to apologize, first and foremost, for the sheer lack of development on my end. I've hardly been able to touch any sort of writing as of late. The reason why is simple enough: School is kicking my ass. I had really high hopes that the second semester would be smoother than the last, and I had every reason to think that. Our school was finally finished back in November, and all of that nonsense with driving to the next county over on a daily basis was behind us. Unfortunately, from the first day of school, I found out there were as many as 120 new students to contend with. And an average of four new students coming in every week thereafter.
There's been a long list of incidents and moronic anecdotes that could fill a book to accompany that. We had an intruder scare just last week, which was made many times worse because we had no reliable means of communication with administration. (Which, in Florida at least, is very illegal.) There's also been a mountain of papers to grade, paperwork, and online classes for my certification I've had to contend with. But I'm not here to vent; I mainly want to reassure everyone I haven't forgotten the commissions I accepted back in December. I just haven't had the time or even, necessarily, the energy to do anything, and I am sorry about that. I'll be working on stuff hopefully in for the rest of the month; if not, I'll just chill over Spring Break in March and do my writing then.
Thanks for your patience everyone, and God bless,
-Renard

To the new Roaring 20's!
Posted 6 years agoHello all, Happy New Year!
I'm sorry for the slight radio silence; I've gone through the commission requests I got, and I've already decided on the four I'll be working on:
exatron (Completed)
aether718
muscledragonwolf18
broadsword
Thanks to everyone else who showed interest. I'll be posting the first commission shortly.
As for my plans, school starts up next week again, and that'll keep me busy. Hopefully by March, I'll have a handle on things enough to open for one or two commissions, but we'll have to see. Otherwise, I'm still working on the Big stories Patreon with
rockytheprocy, which you can check out here: https://www.patreon.com/bigstories
We'll be working on a Story Pack to celebrate our first year of working together on Patreon, so be sure to look out for that! Otherwise I'll be working on personal stories like Branded. I'll keep you guys posted, and thanks for checking out my stories!
Have a great 2020, everyone!
God bless,
-Renard

September Update
Posted 6 years agoHey, guys!
I'm sorry I've been so quiet, barring updates on my patreon. I've been dealing with a lot lately. I started teaching sixth grade World History at a school that has had a breathtaking amount of problems in the first few weeks, ranging from unfinished campuses, downright insane administrators, an infestation of panthers, broken air conditioners, and then Dorian threatened to end my suffering and sink all of Florida beneath the waves.
Obviously, I'm happy to report that last one didn't happen. It's been really, really crazy, and maybe one day I'll type out the whole story. Commissions are still closed for now, just because I'm still playing catch-up and I don't want people to be waiting for something they're paying for when I don't feel confident enough to deliver.
That being said, I'm bearing it as best as I can. Stress is ratcheted high, but I'm trying to take it in stride. That's all I have for now!
Thanks and god bless,
-Renard

Commission Burnout
Posted 6 years agoHey all,
I’m sorry it’s come to this, but I need to be frank: I’ve absolutely stalled out, when it comes to my commissions. For one reason or another, I’ve hit a wall when it comes to my writing. My nerves are shot, and I’ve got a lot of bureacratic nonsense to fight through before I can teach next year. I’ve still got a lot of commissions on hand, and I’m not dropping all of them. I’ll be coming to each of you, in person, and let you know where your commission stands. Some are going to be a little much for me, and I’ll have to let them go for now. Some I’ll be able to get done.
What this means moving forward is that, first, I’m effectively closed for commissions. I’ll be open again soon enough, but once I get through my list, I’ll be down for a bit so I can finally get some personal projects that have been on the back burner for ages. When I do open up for commissions again, however, I’ll be taking only three or four at a time to make things more manageable.
I do apologize if I’ve let anyone down. At the very least, I know I don’t owe anyone any money. I appreciate your patience and understanding in advance.
God bless,
-Renard

Some Changes
Posted 6 years agoHey all,
I want to apologize that the only things I've been posting are related to my patreon- I know I still have a long list of commissions, but, in my defense, I do have some pretty big news- I got a job offer as a full time teacher, starting next year. Getting my ducks in a row has been time consuming, but I'm excited! I'll be teaching history, which should not come as a surprise to anyone.
I'm also, on a gloomier note, helping dad in his recovery from his recent surgery. He's been housebound for a couple weeks, and looks like he'll be in recovery for a while longer.
That being said, I am sorry I've taken so long. Things have been up in the air recently, but I am trying to get them done. Thank you for the understanding!

Odyssey
Posted 6 years agoHey folks,
Sorry I've been quiet recently! The past few weeks have been kind of insane. My dad's been in the hospital recently, and while it was an elective surgery for a kneecap replacement, thus, he's fine, he still needs a lot more care while he recovers. Also, I've been getting ready for interviews for teaching positions, on top of going on a road trip! I was with
connercoon,
winterwight,
nocturne, and
atlas21, helping the first two move up north and meeting up with the other two for funsies.
Then my trip back home began. A 36 hour bus trip that was thoroughly unpleasant. I won't go into details here, but let's just say that I'm not keen on public transportation at the moment. I'm tired, disheveled, and have more than a little BO, and just didn't have the wherewithal to work on much, I'm sorry guys. Now that I'm back home though, and Dad's recovery is going faster than we thought it would, which is great.
That said, expect more stories soon. Thank you for your patience, everyone!

Patreon Payment Changes
Posted 6 years agoHey, guys
So,
rockytheprocy and I have seen a great reaction to the first month of Big Stories, and to those that have chosen to support us, thank you so much! We really hope you guys enjoy what we have to offer. However, I've gotten almost half a dozen people essentially snipe our work; subscribe to the patreon, snatching up the new stories, then unsubscribing within a day without paying. I would like to appeal to anyone that does that; it's not cool. We're not some big, faceless corporation that you can pirate shit from, we're just an independent writer and artist trying to make it day to day. But, because these people have been a problem for almost the entire month, I'm going to have to set up a charge up front patreon for Patreon. You'll be charged the day you subscribe to our Patreon, then on the first of the month thereafter. I don't think this will be too much of an inconvenience for those with honest intentions, but just a heads up.
To everyone else, thanks again for your support!

Patreon Re-launch and a Cleansing for 2019
Posted 7 years agoHey folks,
I've been meaning to get around to this, but I've been stuck in a sort of depressive spiral for a while. I'm doing better now, or at least I think I am. The truth is, there's been this ongoing personal stuff going on for a couple months, now. Needless to say, certain relationships have been strained or just outright lost, and I've been dealing with the fallout ever since. That, compounded by money troubles and a lack of stability in my life, has seeped into my work. You may have noticed that my submissions have slowed to a trickle in this time, and I am truly sorry about that. I took on some commissions I probably shouldn't have, thinking I could- or, more accurately, should- take on stories I didn't necessarily want to write, and forced myself through some unpleasant experiences.
And I should say, this has nothing to do with the people commissioning me. I can't think of anyone that's been unpleasant, it's just, some stories were too far out of my comfort zone, and I should have said no to them for my own sake. I did start cutting off certain commissions that had been languishing on my queue list, and I'm sorry to any commissioners that didn't quite understand why. Again, a lack of motivation, depression, anxiety, and the fact that there are just some prompts that make me uncomfortable.
But, with a new year comes new changes. I really, really want to make a concerted effort of getting back into a groove, and getting commissions out in a timely manner. I know I'm capable, and I don't think my talent has diminished in any way, so I hope to give you all more stories in the time to come. I also really want to do more personal writing; any writing I have done lately has all been purely for other people, either on patreon or my commissioners, and that's not a way to be. This is a job, yes, but it's also still my passion. I'm going to make time for my personal muse too, or this will happen all over again.
Speaking of Patreon, however- I got a string of e-mails from their admins telling me that my current model is against their rules. I've had to overhaul my entire Patreon, and to help me with that, my friend
connercoon is going to partner up with me to bring new stories featuring everyone's favorite characters from movies, video games, and cartoons. February's theme will be Disney, so if you want to get in on that, be sure to subscribe HERE: https://www.patreon.com/bigstories
And with that, I think that's everything. Here's to 2019 being a good one, and thank you all for your patience and understanding.
Godspeed,
-Renard

Happy Holidays
Posted 7 years agoHey, folks. Just wanted to drop the two month old journal to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year!
I'll be gone for a while, celebrating Christmas with my family up in Michigan, and I'm crossing my fingers for a white Christmas, because I love the snow. I'll be writing still, but I'm probably not going to be able to post anything until after Christmas. Sorry!
Take care and God bless,

Getting There
Posted 7 years agoSorry for the long dry spell, folks!
I've lately not known what to say in these journals, which isn't the best thing for a writer, honestly. After two weeks of a lot of fun with friends visiting, I found myself spiraling down into a bad case of post-party depression. My googledocs loss didn't help, obviously, but I'm just now clawing my way out of that. Also, one way or another, I'll be leaving my job at Disney in the next few weeks, which has been a major source of stress and exasperation for me. I'll be devoting myself entirely to teaching from here on, and will hopefully be certified by the end of the month.
I hope to be posting and completing commissions at a steadier clip from here on out, and I thank you all for your patience. It's not been a fun last few weeks, but I'm hoping things improve. There's a few personal projects I want to turn my attention to as well, so I hope you guys keep an eye out for that!

Well, Damn.
Posted 7 years agoSo, I've had a small hiccup.
I've lost half a dozen from my Google docs, almost all of them pertaining to commissions, projects, and patreon.
I've opened up a ticket with Google's tech support, but we'll have to see how that goes. I apologize in advance for any delays this may cause.

I'm Back!
Posted 7 years agoSorry about the small glut of postings, but I wanted to clear out my to-do list after my vacation. Hope you enjoy the commissions I've gotten, though! Commissions will be coming out soon, just need to get back into my groove.

Delays and Apologies
Posted 7 years agoHey folks.
As you can guess by the title, I'm afraid to say things are being delayed for a bit. I've been caught in a rough situation, temporarily juggling two jobs that keep me up late and waking up even earlier, so I spend most of my off time catching up on sleep, and distracted with things to keep me sane.
Thankfully, my second job will be coming to an end, soon- it was just a temporary position at a summer camp, and my long-dreaded job at Disney is beginning to let up. Hopefully next week, you'll start seeing a lot more from me. I've got the YCH, my Patreon stories, and commissions to catch up on- a bit of a daunting task.
Thank you all for your patience. I wish I had more to say, but then, there's not much else to convey. It's just another bump I didn't see coming, but I'm hoping that once it's over, the summer will go much more smoothly for me until the school year starts.
Take care and God bless,
