I came back for a peek after 2+ years and I'm so shocked at the amount of notifications I have? ? For context, I have never been super active here. I wanted to! But I felt like I didn't draw enough animal/furry art to have been able to commit to uploading regularly QwQ. So the last time I came here, I uploaded some stuff because I was dual posting on fA and dA, reorganised some posts and though I came back now and then, notifications and my account engagement/activity wasn't blowing up or anything. So I just MIA'd from furaffinity and that was 2 years ago.
I did not expect to log in to see over 1.4k notifications (not counting watch submissions) on this very inactive account. I'm just really surprised and aaah uhhh THANK YOU? ;w; Idk if anyone's still here but its such a pleasant, truly unexpected surprise and I don't know maybe I'll try making fA a thing for me!
I'm also so sorry if I didn't reply your notes and comments from a year+++ ago, I didn't even realise people noticed I existed here TAT I can't express the shock I'm in rn. But uh qwq <3 hello~ I hope we can get to know each other again and you'll stay around! Commissions are now Open
Posted 4 years agoThe last 2 months have been pretty busy for me and I've reformatted most of the pages on my website. But I'm quite satisfied with the result <3 . I've taken some time to draw for myself and have polished up my art and techniques more than what they were before.
With this, I'm happy to say that commissions are now back online with new styles and options to pick from. www.renciel.com
I've also said goodbye to the fake screenshot option that I opened in 2019 because I found myself wanting to fully invest in those illustrations and commissions. The fake screenies were fun but it reached a point where I felt I could do the exact same concepts for my cell-shaded illustrations- and those would look way better and more polished. You can still request the cell-shaded illustrations to mimic a fake screenshot but they'll have a lot more shading and attention to detail than what fake screenies had. Basically, a proper illustration.
Live2D is a new addition to the types now available. The cat wasn't actually the first model I'd done. I'd finished a fully rigged Ren model + illustration, but I'd wanted to change stuff and haven't gotten to it xD Her debut will probably be on YouTube in the near future.
I've also added a help-tip page for people wanting to commission character designs that I hope will help not just me but other artists who get commissioned. https://www.renciel.com/design-rework-tips I'm so wordy urgh but if you're bored then I guess- have a slow read over a sip of tea or something- idk. Changes to Commissions in February

This will be a major change for 2021.
Some styles will be removed and new ones added.
Some will be discontinued.
Some will be only upon request (Meaning they aren't displayed but if you know what you want, you can ask for it)
Prices will also be amended.
One of the things to look forward to will be character design, sheets and revamps! (Yay! I've been delaying it for 2-3 years lol)
These changes are to ensure I'm able to provide the best and most up to date art styles for people and for myself to add onto my portfolio as a constantly growing artist.

This is just a boop and a heads-up, I guess! ^^ If you're interested or have budgeted for any of the types on my current list then I would definitely recommend securing one before February arrives. Otherwise, that's all. Hope you're all okay. I've been a bit MIA on dA due to working on work for a few people. I've finally finished most of my to-do list as well.
