Things have changed a lot in my life, I'm now living fully at my own, I'm signed up as freelance already, going full into the arts and working a lot!
And also hopefully improving a lot, at least that's what they say!

🍂I'm hoping to become a freelance artist soon (for good), but knowing there's high taxes and little resources for freelances in my country, I'll need to have a "test period" which I'll use as a learning method to follow a schedule, learn how freelancing works, and check if I can actually do it.

🌱 February:
I end my current job contract exactly tomorrow. This is actually a super good news as I've finished my Woodworking course and I'm now supposed to be a professional haha.
I'll take some free days to relax, fix some paperwork and do chores and stuff.
🌱March:
Long stay at my parents'. Expect little activity the first weeks. Will focus on getting info about freelancing. May start new practice projects at the end of the month.
🌱April:
Very probably- full of work, projects and art. Work-like schedule, learning how not to fall in artblocks, etc.
🌱Later months:
Waiting for a surgery, unknown date. Margin of practice until about two months after surgery.
Hopefully I can achieve my goal and be productive enough as to dive into freelancing by then! If I can't reach a minimum at this point, I'll just go back to my current job and expect a miracle in the future (?

Hi pals!! I gotta tell a couple news on the Calendar:

First of all, I'm kinda delayed on the day, as our dog Echo is having trouble with his only hind leg, his wounds there are taking months to heal and yesterday it went worse, so we spent some hours at the vet. It's not critic, so don't worry, but he's taking anti-inflammatory and antibiotics now, as well as a pawpad protector gel.
I couldn't finish yesterday's slot on time, so there's that. I'm working on everything now!!

Second- this morning I received a call and my TOP SURGERY is due next day 20!!! Yey!!
Though, this means I'll have to delay most (if not all) of the slots, starting from THAT day, to JANUARY.
I'll try to work on the slots whenever I can move my arms after surgery.

I'm so happy it's finally happening, but I wasn't expecting it before 2019.... sorry about that :___

It goes from 10th to 31st of December. This way I'll cover the whole year's end and all, each day with a different theme.
The prices start at 10€ and up to whatever you wanna pay, the more you pay the bigger the picture, and they're first come first serve!
Some of them are only NSFW, while the rest is up to the buyer.

I will demand artistic freedom for these: I won't accept detailed descriptions. I'll work with the day's theme and the customer's idea only, no specific poses.

As mentioned, we planned to move to the east coast of Spain, but we haven't been able to find a decent place and my savings are going down alarmingly fast.
We opted for going back to my partner's house, start again, work there and build some savings again... for a while at least.
We'll move again in a couple weeks. Stressed af :_/

I've had some bad news lately, though, my surgeon scheduled my top surgery for next day 8th and I wasn't able to do it, having in count the moving and stuff. So I had to reeschedule it and I have no idea when I'll have it done. But anyways, I'm hoping it's still soon.

I don't have many news though. November looks stressing but I'm looking forward to be alive by the end of it. Will be working when I have spare time- they replaced my iPad with a new one and I don't know anymore if I'm just being too anxious now but it's also giving me troubles.
Please just wish us well because I'll have a heart attack or something. Ughhhh.

I'm pretty confident about the website itself, even though it lacks some things, as it's only a place to host your auctions, you don't even need an account to bid, and they don't interfiere in any way with the payment.
However, a friend of mine recently told me they don't fully trust the page for having to use the email to bid (which I actually find pretty logic if you dont use an account and want me to contact you after the auction).

So!
Gonna write a whole ton I guess, so I'll as always try to keep it short!

Starting from the con we attended: It was a real shit. A total wreck, we sold very little stuff and lost a lot of money to the proccess. We'll need to work an extra bit to recover from it.
Though, not all things start right, so we're all taking it as a lesson, and will keep trying! I also got a tattoo done on that trip and was pretty nice overall.

Next move, my iPad developed its pressure fault to almost the full extent of the screen so I'll have it sent to fix. That was quick, lmao. I'm pretty cursed when it comes to this kinda things, sooo yeah, I guess there's another shit going.

Neeeext one! I passed my driving exam! I'm now fully able to drive legally, which is the first big dream of mine that I've accomplished. YaY!!!
FYI, in Spain, getting the driving license costs from 300 if you're lucky and already fully know how to drive, to +2000 Euro or more if you keep falling and need a ton of classes.
I luckily got it at the second try (first one failed by a shitty mistake I'm the worstttt), with an average amount of classes, for around 650€.

Next point is: the trip! I'll be moving to the East coast of Spain, to be with my partner, in about a week and half! This is very exciting, but also very scary (and tiring) for me because of packing AAALLL my stuff, and not knowing what will really happen next. As I said in previous journals, I'm a bit worried about my gecko and roaches having too much stress on the trip, but anyway. It'll be ok, probs!

And finally, the YCHs! I wanted to tell y'all that I'll be seeing how this "ych.commishes" website works for ychs. If it doesnt work well, I'll just be back to submissions here.
I'll be working soon on SPOOKY YCHs!! Will try to make both NSFW and SFW content, although as NSFW often sells more, and I'm in need of money to be sure I'll survive out there, I'll probs head for those first. Don't blame me, lmao.

As you may've just seen, I uploaded the last two YCH's I've had on hold the last couple weeks.

To try to keep you as informed as I can, I'll tell y'all my plans for the upcoming weeks.
As you could read a month ago here, September is (and gonna be) a very busy month for me.
I've already passed the first driving exam well, and probs before the weekend I'll be doing the second one. This is mostly what's kept me busy these two weeks! Hopefully I'll pass it in the first try, if not all my plans will have to be changed.

From now on and until Sept 27th, I'll just be working on merch for the table, so no YCHs meanwhile!
After the con, we'll be back here and I will get everything ready for my big trip back to the East coast of Spain, which will be later than expected (and I'm so grateful for that) :)

These will be pretty hard days, I'll have to make sure everything's well packed, and that my gecko and dubias suffer the least stress possible in the trip. Also saying goodbye to my friends here will be sad, we've been living together for about 7 months... they've been so good :_U but we surely won't lose contact.
Then, the search of a new place and job with @mrkawauso, as well as fixing papers and organizing doctor schedules, will be taking a lot of time... but by that moment I hope everything's a little calmer and I can start working on FA again.

Anyway, I feel that September needs to be talked about, beforehand...
It will be a pretty harsh month for me, and probably I won't hang much around.

The reasons are the following:I am a preeeeeeeeeeeetty stressed/anxious person, and yeah I'm now taking meds for that ^{(btw taking them is probs what's helped on getting to work more constantly and that's nice)}. Though, I'll run out of them in about 10 days and I'm having a little trouble getting more prescription due to having it prescribed in another city. I'll have to go into that. This makes me even more afraid of September, lmao.

I've been studying to get my drivers license, and the exam is next week. After that, I'll go to driving classes and take the last exam. This will already be in Sept.
I'm planning on moving pretty far away. But I can only move my stuff in one trip during the second half of Sept. Including my gecko's terrarium and all my insects. I'm just too afraid all the stuff won't fit in the car. Apart of all the worry of moving to a new place and searching for a job there.
Also during all Sept I'll be producing and printing merch for my first table in a con, that is also far away, and still don't even know from which place I'll have to take the bus, and that's a shit because it should be bought with enough time.
You could already assume long trips make me a tachycardic mess..... lmao
Apart of those, there's also a few other things that are more personal and I prefer not to share.

So, It's probably safe to say I won't be working on FA until October, after I finish the last two YCHs.
In case I feel I can work on something, you'll see me around, though. Wish me luck :__

Sooo I already bought the reaconditioned iPad pro, about a week ago or so?

Overall I'm extremely happy with it and am able to express myself a bit better <3 I've also been working on two of the YCHs with it and it's wonderful!
I'm also developing a kinda different style and hopefully will be using both styles soon :3

After these YCHs I'll mainly be working on prints and merch for a con I'm attending on Sept.

I'm having quite the fun drawing some NSFW YCHs! :D

Though,,,,, I'd still like to keep these out of the commissions per se.
I find them very challenging, and as an exercise it's amazing but I really only have fun with them by having this freedom that making YCHs means.

So, you may know I've been around a year using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A sm-p580 to draw.
It's been good, a life changing thing speaking of digital art digital art, & much more comfortable when it comes to doing art than small Wacom tablets.

THOUGH, I've come to a situation where it gets short in resources.
We're talking of a tablet that is good to draw casually, but isn't dedicated to a professional use.
I can't work over 72ppp with it, I can't edit .PSD, and overall it's very limited in performance and pressure levels. Mine also has little defects on the pressure at some areas and can't afford to send it to get fixed if they'll take a month or two to get it back.

I so recommend it, being around 300€, for someone who draws casually and doesn't need high pressure levels (ya know, my line for example is pretty thick, I don't work a lot with pressure), and who isn't gonna give it a professional use. Otherwise, it's really amazing as a Samsung tablet anyway!!!

Some days ago I had the pleasure to first give a little try to an iPad pro, and I really fell in love for the most obvious reasons.
And so, I've decided to try to start saving to get a reconditioned one, which are around 400€.
I gotta prepare some merch for a con in September so it would be really amazing to get it before, but if not, I'll try anyway!

For this, and knowing that porn has a high demand, i'm thinking of organising some multislot preposes, some (if not all) of them being NSFW, among other stuff.

I just thought I'd let you know I switched my default currency to Euro.

There's a little difference between Euro and USD, which doesn't really make a big difference for the customer when commissioning a piece, but it's really noticeable for the artist after some time receiving payments.

Hey guys! I'm still working on due stuff. I've considered giving up and give refunds of what is left to the owners... but I've been also drawing these last days before going to work and I think I can do it.

Honestly, I'm so happy after receiving my paycheck... it's so little compared to the work we do but it's a lot of money anyway. I could pay some debts and also bought myself some lil things I needed (and CLOTHES)
And well, also bought an external HDD to storage my drawings and got it stolen before an hour at the mall, lmao.

Lettin ya folks know I'm alive.
Gosh, they scared me abit about how harsh the work was gonna be, but it wasn't that much. Though, it's still tiring as hell, and I'm working lots of extra hours (that's abt 10h a day a couple times a week). It's an industrial laundry, so there's like giant machines and we're working in around 40ºC (lmao help and kill meee).........

So uhhhhh sorry about the delays, because I'm super delayed with E V E R Y T H I N G. I'm tryna work in the mornings but most days it's just impossible. :_

I'll be here until the end of January if everything goes well, and after I finish the current commissions I won't be accepting any more til February or so. If I see I can do it, then I will open at some point but not by now.

ANYWAY if everything goes well I'll get my driver license and try to get the tattooist certificate which is pretty expensive!
Ahhhhhhhhh also I wanna get a baby leopard gecko but will have to wait til February :_______
